My appointment was at 8am, and I arrived extra early. They let me know that they had only 1 tech but assured me they would get me back by my appointment time. My wait was actually over an hour past my appointment time, and they called people that had appointment times after me before me. There were 3 ladies in front of me when they took me back at 8am. They brought 3 more ladies back after 8am, and all 6 were seen before me. When I finally gave up and put my clothes back on to leave at 9am, the waiting room in the back was empty. When I went to the front to let them know I couldn't wait any longer, I didn't get an apology or anything close to it. Just told they could reschedule me. Last year, I also had an hour wait with a morning appointment. They seem to overbook in the mornings or don't schedule their techs appropriately. Very disappointed in the service over the last few years. In the beginning they were great and wait times were minimal, but it has slowly declined. To add even more issues, they are upselling another service that they offer along with the mammogram, but that throws the appointments even further behind, because that 10-15 min appointment now has another additional service. If you can't handle your normal mammogram appointments, why would you add another service to make the appointments longer? This is a poor business model at best. read more

I had a good experience here. It was very easy to schedule and reschedule appointments. I didn't have an issues with having to wait too long because I booked the very first appointment and I was able to be the first one in. I had a diagnostic mammogram and was able to have my images taken and radiologist determine my results in an hour. Estimate time was about 1.5-2 hours, so I was relieved to be done faster. I equate it to being the first appointment of the day. The environment is calm and relaxing, but it doesn't compare to Memorial Hermann Breast Care. That place is truly like a spa with robes and fountains. Solis provides a cape to wear when you do you mammogram. At first , I was bummed it wasn't a fancy robe, but the cape made sense for the mammogram. It allows you to be slightly covered while they take images. It is located right at the intersection of 99 and I-10 and on the second floor. read more

If you don't have a primary doctor, don't waste your time with this mammography business. They won't see you without a doctor's order if you're under 40 even though their website states screening mammograms do not need an order. And they won't release your results to you as the paying patient that has to go through a doctor as well. Healthcare in this country is an absolute scam. My primary issue is this company proudly proclaims on their website and social media to NOT need a doctors order which is why I scheduled with them. So now I have to go find a doctor, wait for them to have availability for a new patient, get an order for a screening mammogram- not a diagnostic mammogram- a screening mammogram- and try this all again when I am here today ready to be proactive about my health but I am a few months too soon. But early detection saves lives right? But not this early. Got it. Fix the wording of your website then. Edit to add I am 39. Let's face it, no one likes getting their mammogram, but it's part of adulthood for women starting around middle age. (I can't remember exactly & I don't want to spread misinformation). My doctor sent my orders to Solis and they called right away to schedule my exam. The ladies are very friendly and accommodating and I found an appointment that fit my schedule. I arrived on Friday, September 9 and was seen quite quickly. I have implants and the technician was very gentle and helpful. I was done within 30 minutes of arriving and went home. I received an email on Monday, September 12 with my normal results. Wow! That was fast and easy! I'll definitely return next year and stop procrastinating my healthcare. read more

I want to give this business 5 stars. It is clean, professional but it's efficiency could be improved. The front desk staff consists of 1 staff member; while she is sweet as pie, she is overworked and could use additional training on verifying imaging files on CD. The other aspects of this mammography diagnostic clinic is superb: the technicians and the radiologists are solid. However, when picking up films on CD and paper reports, be sure to call ahead to see if they are ready for your pickup, and even then, you may have to wait for the CD to be burned/copied and even then, your images on CD may be incomplete. read more

I just had my mammogram and I did not hate it. I heard it's a terrible exam which influenced me to postpone as long as I could. Solis made a huge impact. There was no wait. The office feels like you walked into a spa. It was relaxing, calming, and clean. The staff is pleasant. They verified my insurance and personal information before the exam so there was no confusion. I am not one to leave a review but I have had enough of this facility. The lack of knowledge and communication is unreal. They have had my orders since December 2022, but I get called to the back for counseling was asked, "why do you want to get an ultrasound? Your orders don't say that you have any issues, if you had issues then your previous provider would have done it for you".... REALLY???! Are you serious? First of all, you've had my orders for almost THREE MONTHS and you wait until the day of my appointment to ask me that. You provide breast imagining services, yet you make it so hard to receive just that! Making an appointment was hard, talking the front desk was hard, now this!!!! If I wanted an ultrasound just to get one and I'm paying for it, why would you make comments like that?! No, I will never ever return!!!! And that actual waiting room after you leave the front, it's cheaply done and it looks like a clinic, no tv or anything .., simply piling women in a room sitting there waiting to be called on. Made an appointment over the phone several weeks out to schedule this and also modified my schedule to accommodate it. Once I arrived the front receptionist informed me that they don't accept my insurance and said sorry I should have told you that over the phone. It would have been nice that once they book an appointment that they also ask about insurance just like any other medical office, so people don't waste their time and effort only to be told we don't accept your insurance. read more

I came during COVID and I had a face covering that was a face mask shield. I have a health condition that prevents me from wearing one directly on my face, so that is what I wear. Research shows it's at least as affective as cloth masks and most likely more. The TX executive order states that "every person shall wear a face covering over the nose and mouth....wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing...". The lady at the desk said I had to have a mask like in the cartoon picture of their sign because it was TX law (it's not a law actually). I told her that mine was a face covering but she was persistent that it had to be a certain kind. She made me stand in the hall for a 30 minute wait, even though there was not a single person in the waiting room. I was put at a higher risk for exposure as several people walked past me in the hall with no room to social distance. I have not had ANY other business tell me what kind of face covering I had to have. This isn't the executive order, and I quote from it again, "....this face-covering requirement does NOT apply to the following: .....any person with a medical condition...that prevents wearing a face covering.....any person while that person is maintaining a social distance...". Technically, I don't have to wear one at all! They need to get up on the TX order if they choose to cite and abide by it or create and post their own specific guidelines, while not discriminating against certain groups.
