I wish I could give this place negative stars. Katy office staff is very kind, courteous and efficient. I can't thank them Enough for taking such good care of my 9 year old. However, their backend process at the main office is utterly ridiculous. My daughter was ordered an urgent non routine X-ray to rule out any arm Or shoulder fracture . The katy office staff immediately took her in, made sure she was comfortable and worked with my doctors office to document it as an urgent request- my doctor had mistakenly ordered it as a routine X-ray. 10 stars to the front desk staff and technician for their amazing service. They deliver all Urgent requests within 5 hours. But they took 20 + hours to get her X-ray report ready. When I called the customer service mainline, they spent good 17 minutes to EXPLAIN how imaging centers have a process that they need to follow so I need to be patient and allow them to do their job - That is, give them another 2 hours minimum to get the report ready. I explained their process back to them about the 5 hour PROCESS they promise to their patients and doctors office and hung up. Never going back there. read more

Katy location. pin oak. bad experience. MRI with contrast. barely any communication throughout test. even though I had requested it ..The IV used for contrast bled so profusely afterwards. I've never had that happen before. the machine was the loudest machine I've ever been in. maybe it's old. a d they should offer a bottle of water after contrast. read more

Do Not Book Your Appointment At the Pin Oak location!! Booked my appointment at the Pin Oak location, and confirmed a few days prior to the MRI. I arrived 15 minutes prior to the time I was told to arrive, paid, filled out the paperwork and was told to sit and wait - just to be told 20 minutes later their MRI machine is down. This location DEFINITELY has issues that need to be addressed, which includes their quality of service. read more

Been here twice. Staff was courteous the first time and super friendly the second time around. Loved the coffee, hot chocolate, water and cookies in the waiting room. Location was very clean. Well maintained. I've been told the radiologist that reads the scans is a chiropractor so he has a great medical eye. Also, while getting my scan, they had a personal locker with key for me to protect my things. The only negative is they require you to physically pick up a note showing why you're out of work. And they struggle to call back "fast enough" or answer the phone but that's just what my mother in law tells me, I didn't have that issue. Truly they have some of the best prices anywhere (there are a couple cheaper that I'd never recommend). Ample parking as well plus a couple spots just for their patients. They take insurance, cash, checks and credit cards. read more

I have an 8 year old with full bladder as instructed with two bottles of water. Arriving they tell me that scheduling department had the forms they have them there but I dont have the appointment. My husband and I have been here a few times- the first time was for a MRI nicki I believe her name was. Was great, friendly made the experience quick and easy. Today my husband saw a lady for a ultrasound also very friendly, both times he was in and out in a hour. My husband hates any time of doctor office but he said he would go back anytime! read more

We ended up at MRI after a disappointing appointment at Herman to find out there machines were down. We were tired and worried this wouldn't get done as quick as we needed (scoliosis scan) We walked in and were greeted by Shawn at the front desk who was the sweetest, most helpful person ever! 5 STARS to her!! It's a terribly busy office and very backed up. Pro tip: After checking in, patients should stay on top of reception/ front desk/ administration. During our first visit to this business, we waited in the waiting room for over an hour. It was obvious that they completely forgot about their patient. After rushing the patient in, the tech/ nurse staff performing the procedure were personable and professional. The actual MRI experience was great. read more

I would not go here if you need an MRI in a timely manner. Major issues with scheduling. No one seems to know what they are doing. They have moved my appointment 2 times after scheduling at the wrong location. I booked a month in advance, still did not work out. They called today to move my appointment once again because of "technical difficulties" which I have a hard time believing. The first MRI I had here they called me 45 minutes before to move my appointment to accommodate someone else. My doctor wants me on the same MRI for comparison or I would never come back. read more

I had a knee MRI and was given a report as my knee being normal. I went to my orthopedic surgeon and when he reviewed the MRI discovered a large meniscus tear. The surgeon said the tear was very apparent on the MRI that it should have not been missed. Obviously, someone incompetent reviewed my MRI or pretended it was read and marked it normal. Very unprofessional and unethical. read more

I scheduled a 4:45 appointment for my son. The day before his appointment a lady called and said they had a cancellation would I be interested in bringing him in earlier than the 4:15 we previously had agreed on. I said that's fine she said the appointment is 3:45but be here by 3:15 to complete new patient paperwork. My husband took my son to his appointment for 3:15, my son called and said they asked them did they have somewhere they could go because they are waaaaaay too early and their appointment is not until 4:45.. That's a lie, they called me and changed the appointment, now no one seems to remember that.. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Do better people.. read more

The lady in the back with short hair is not very nice she had an attitude I think her name is veronica. I asked for a copy of my report to see the surgeon and they tell me I have to get that from my doctor when they clearly can print it out for me. They said they would call the doctor to get it. Did not hear them call anyone cause there is just 2 people in the office. She just printed it out after my mom called and asked for a copy of my report. A waste of time. Scheduled for 2:30 appt, got in at 5:30 pm. Suddenly informed I needed lab. Uh, they did not tell me this at 2:30. At 5:30 everyone was in a rush to go home. MRI tech did not prepare me enough to even get a good study. All day, uncomfortable and expensive time for an MRI exam Impression: MOTION DEGRADED EXAM! Guess the MRI people thought that was good enough, but my doctor and I decided NOT. Go somewhere else where you can get a test done that will help define your condition, because this place couldn't or wouldn't be able to do it. read more

First off the MRI tech was very rude. My wife started to come into the MRI room with me. He turned around and said do not come in here very abruptly. She's always been allowed in the room when I'm in there as I'm a little bit claustrophobic. Then on top of other things they will not send me my report for the doctor gets it without me having to drive 45 minutes out of the way to come out there. All other MRI places I have been to I've been very accommodating to me. I highly suggest not using used in MRI. Now I even doubt radiologist reliability on reading my report. I went here be because it was closest that had a wide bore. Will not use again or reccommend. read more

I have dealt with this nightmare for almost 6 months. Nobody here takes responsibility for their actions or try to fix their mistakes. Apparently these kids being hired for front desk appointments don't realize there are tons of places to get a CT in Katy. They left me a message to call them back for appt. I called. They guy said when can you come in? I said anytime. Let me backup...Now yesterday when I called....they said it would be 72 hours before I could get an appointment because my faxed order has 40 other people in front of me already, and they wouldn't be able to even get an authorization from my insurance for 72 hours.So already being told 72 hours. And being so far down in the orders pile for insurance calling, "plan on next week". Back to the guy on phone this morning.... i had said any time to him to schedule me, he said ok tomorrow. So sometime between 3pm yesterday and 9:00am this morning there seems to be a 72 hours line of BS. But here is what happened..... he said Tomorrow? I said no, next week, Cuz I'm leaving town. His response was: why don't you just tell me what day you will be here, with an insulting and condescending attitude. I said next week. Yesterday I was told no for this week now in less than 24 hrs I can get in this week. Well because of their 72hr policy we booked tickets out of town last night otherwise I would have stayed and def home in Thursday. I hung up on this guy. He called back about 5 minutes later I told him he was rude and condescending he said...... "I'm sorry you experienced that'. What the what!!!!! How about YOU are sorry YOU SPOKE TO ME LIKE THAT! You don't know me. I'm the new customer you lost just in a single call. There are Other PROVIDERS.... keep shopping is my recommendation because I deserve, my time deserves, my money deserves and so does yours a facility with employees who appreciate the fact you actually are there for a service cuz that is how they get their pay checks. So sick of bad rude employees in these medical places. Keep shopping til you find respect. I told him I'm not coming to your clinic, I'm going somewhere else. The woman with the short hair is a horrible office manager. Promised to call us back about the cost and never did. She said she told my wife things over the phone that apparently were true and said things that never were said. Then denied them when we got there. The front desk customer service was horrible as well. Refused service because didn't have photo ID but had insurance card. I will never be back with all the other options around to use. I will notify my Dr. of this experience and not to ever send me here again and will not recommend them to anyone. I hope the owner goes out of business for the lack of customer service. read more

Front office staff was very professional and helpful. The person who actually did the MRI must have been having a bad day. Total lack of compassion while I was having a panic attack. I had disclosed that I have anxiety on my form but the MRI operator never addressed it. The person assisting the MRI was very pleasant. Needless to say I was so glad it was over. They take care of you in no time. They sure want their money upfront before you can have it done. But when you find out you over paid. The refund coming back to you usually takes 60 to 90 days to get it. Then you have to call them every day to see if they have done it. The excuse is that they are too busy to give you your money back. They are very slow giving refunds. Ask for a main number so you can complain they say you can email it in. Bad experience I hope I never have to go back to this one. read more

I had an MRI on my foot in April and another MRI on my spine in May (two different doctor practices). I went to Houston MRI in Katy to pick up reports/discs of my MRI's. After waiting 10 minutes, the tech brought me the reports and only one disc. I explained that I had two MRI's. She told me they were both on the one disc. I told her I had to different doctors. She said she could make me another disc for $22. I took my complaint over to the desk where the office personnel told me to give the disc to the first doctor I see and then get it back and take it to the second doctor. REALLY?? Did I not pay for two MRI's? Is one disc given per MRI for free? You have lost my business and anyone else I speak to about this over a stinking disc. Bad way to run a Business!! read more
