First, I filed my taxes in April, prior to the deadline AND IT WAS NEVER SENT TO THE IRS!!! I've been emailing and calling Alex's office for three months asking for him or his secretary to check on what happened to my taxes. All I was told by the secretary was "be patient, the IRS is behind". They refused to check on it. Each time I tried to monitor my taxes through the IRS refund tool, I received a response that stated "refund status error. Your information does not match our records". After three months of receiving this message, I knew the IRS never received my taxes! For three whole months Alex never responded to any of my requests for him to call me to discuss what was happening. He finally decided to call after three months once I told the secretary I was going to drive to their office, and that's when I was notified my taxes were not filed. He then sent my taxes to the IRS in July, and I still have not received it. I had a phone appointment with him today at 12 PM and he forgot. I had to call his office at 12:20 to remind him of the appointment. He told me to give him 10 minutes so he could find the tracking number of my tax documents he sent via mail in July (I was provided with an incorrect tracking number a month ago). His secretary called me back 5 minutes later with the tracking number and I asked to be transferred back to Alex because we did not complete our appointment and she said "no, someone just walked in his office". OUR APPOINTMENT WAS NOT COMPLETE!!! How disrespectful for him to show up 20 minutes late, remain on the phone for literally 5 minutes and then not complete the appointment. This is not the first year he's made significant errors like this. He forgot to file my sister's business taxes on time, resulting in a penalty of over $1,000, he's spelled my address wrong, and sent my sister's partner's taxes to the wrong address. I will literally never file with him again. TERRIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!
