It's true that Mr. Carnes doesn't always present front and center, but he is available if you need to speak to him. I met him for the first time right after the Falcons lost the Super Bowl, and while he wasn't dressed in casual office attire, he certainly wasn't slovenly like a previous review suggested. I don't always meet with him, as most of the time, I show up to drop off paperwork and show up to pay for the service. I will say that his services aren't the cheapest, but I've never had any issues with the filing of my taxes. He's local and has a lot of knowledge about other financial categories aside from simple tax filing, which is what attracted me to the business in the first place. If we ever expanded into rental real estate or other retirement ventures, there's some knowledge there. I believe I have met his nephew, a nice younger man that answered one of my questions. Honestly don't care if he's fresh out of college as previously alleged. If he can do the job appropriately, he can do the job. That's all there is to it. I only have a single impression of him, but it was a positive one. The office staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. Really nice ladies who will call you in a timely manner when your paperwork is finished. Once again, I don't care if they're Mr. Carnes' family or completely unrelated. Family businesses are a thing, and considering I've never had any issues with this establishment, the more the merrier. They seem like a really nice family. I felt like I needed to counteract the horrible review they received. While it is entirely possible the review is valid and that person did have a horrible experience, I have only had positive experiences with this place over the last three years that I've used them to file my taxes.
