Haven't lived here, but toured here twice. Overall it seems like a good complex for the price. Personally I feel the weakest point of this complex is the interior design, which I feel was done poorly, but that is a preference thing and perhaps I'm just not the demographic they're going for, so you can kind of write that off. The gym is a love/hate thing. It's one of the nicest home-gyms in the area, but they failed to include any type of cable machine or pulldown machine, so you can't do any form of pulldown/pressdown, and women don't have a cable/machine for glut work. I've never been inside a crossfit gym, but I think that's kind of what they were going for. Again, they dumped so much money into that gym, but it's unfortunate the designer chose to not include some vitally important machines, but included a bunch of unnecessary machines. The pond in the middle has a lot of algae, you'll see it unless they happened to have just cleaned it. On the plus side, and in my opinion this is their single best selling point, they have a 24 hour indoor jacuzzi, cold-plunge, & one of those mini-pools where you swim against moving water. Also, although I don't like the interior design so much, it's still a higher-end apartment, and it's nearly brand new, so everything is still really nice and new, and the demographic which lives there appear to be quite respectable. I personally probably won't be moving in here since the gym isn't as functional as I'd like, and it's too far from an outside gym for my preference, but if you don't care about the few missing pieces from the gym, you like the interior design, and the algae buildup doesn't bother you too much, then I think this is a solid option for the price point, and it's close to the various amusement parks. I believe it is the 'outward' facing 'non-balcony' units which also have a floor to ceiling window which is pretty cool, but you also have a view of nothing, so it's a bit wasted. Unfortunately, they did not put the floor to ceiling windows on the interior facing units which actually have a view. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!! Worst place ever!!!! Where do I begin.....leak started in bathroom ceiling Sep 28, and mold appeared soon after, continued spreading throughout entire area, 2 months later still not fixed!!! Had to move my kids out of there because we weren't going to live in unhealthy conditions. They offered me another unit BUT wanted me to start a whole new lease over again!!! lol what a joke!!! It wasn't an option to move, we HAD to!!! Got out of that place and into a house. TWO months with leaks, mold, place is full of roaches, just nasty!!!! And now trying to charge me a termination fee lol bc we HAD to move bc of the incompetence of maintenance, it's horrible!!!! Hallway coming into the building wasn't swept and mopped for over a month, just disgusting!!! AND, 3 months after we had moved in, in 2024, my car was stolen from right out front!!! And guess what, they did not care one bit!!! Unsafe, filthy, poor management, zero customer service. I wish someone had warned me before we moved there so I'm trying to warn as many as I can. I will start with the pros. 1. The location is great if you are looking for convenience. It is close to I-4, lots of new shopping and dining, Target, Publix, and the theme parks. 2. The parking is decent and we never struggled to find a spot. 3. Bri (the barista at the coffee bar) is a true gem! She is amazing and so kind! However, the list of cons sadly outweighs the pros. We lived in Solstice in a 2 bed, 2 bath from late 2023-Early 2025. We were first sold by the location and a great salesperson. The amenities looked new and seemed great. Fast forward to move in. The apartment complex took a turn! Firstly, the unit we received was in need of repairs from the moment we moved in. Many broken cabinets, knobs etc. When requests were put into maintenance they were sometimes addressed, however sometimes marked as addressed when no one came. The gym, although full of many machines, had some of the worst clientele we have experienced. People would regularly yell, grunt, drop heavy weights, and play loud music during all hours of the day. The hot tub area was out of commission for the majority of our time living their. It was down for at least 6-7 months. When asked when it would be fixed the staff never had an answer. When it finally did reopen, we used the facility but ended up getting severe skin irritation from the HEAVY use of chlorine!! It was so bad we bought chlorine test strips and found that the hot tub had extremely dangerous high levels! In addition, the golf simulator was often broken as well. This complex has more dog poo then anywhere we have EVER lived! Be careful where you walk, their will be dog poop. The complex says it will punish residents but never did. We regularly found poop (weekly) in stairwells, hall, and elevators as well as outside. For safety, many of the doors leading into the buildings would often break and could take weeks (or even over a month to fix!). After about a year living in the facility our electronic lock to our apt door was randomly shut off with no warning. We had to call emergency maintenance to be let in in the middle of the night after travel. When we visited the office the next morning, we were informed they just sometimes "turn off" the locks after a year "regardless" of lease length. For reference, we had a 14-month lease so this was super weird they wouldn't have programmed the key fob to change at the end date of our lease. Lastly, building leakage was an issue! Our windows leaked constantly, and it took MONTHS for maintenance to address. The leakage got so bad they ended up moving four apartments in our building for a months long construction to repair! Even throughout this we were met with construction sounds for months and still leakage in our apartment. This led to tons of mold throughout our apartment which made us very sick. Since moving we have felt so much better, as we are now away from the mold. We also began to wonder if the pipes had mold as our water began to taste weird with the construction. When requested to change filters in our fridge, the maintenance dept "did not know how", so just left it. The staff had much turnover during our time, and was not the most informative or helpful when asked questions. In addition, they held contests rewarding those who left 5-Star reviews with raffle entries. So some reviews may be deceiving. Although location was good, I can't say we would recommend Solstice. read more

AVOID! Roach infestation I moved into this apartment in March, and about a month into my new apartment I started seeing german roaches. The buildings exterminators have been in and out of my apartment since April. it is now September and I am still dealing with the same problem, if anything it's gotten worse. all the exterminators do is spray once a week. this is a "LUXURY" apartment and I have a roach infestation that I did NOT have before I moved in here. the exterminators coming every other week or so is like a band aid solution to a wound of a problem. if the roaches are coming from a neighbor, and the neighbor isn't dealing with the issue... the roaches will keep coming into my apartment. I have seen over TWENTY german roaches in my "luxury" apartment including eggs, babies, and roaches throughout different stages of life, both dead and alive. And that's only what I can see. The leasing office isn't taking me seriously and won't address the problem at hand. considering how much I pay for this apartment, this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. it has made living here a nightmare. you can likely head over to one of the other 10 apartment complex's on the road and find one that doesn't have a roach infestation... that's what I should have done. read more

The apartments are in a wonderful location - so close to EVERYTHING. The apartments are decently made, and maintenance is super nice and efficient. There are pretty nice amenities (hot tub, decent gym). Our rent increased almost 35% within the one contract - not just ours, either. We saw stickers and signs posted all over the community from other upset tenants who had their rent raised just as much. Management is not great. They seem to rotate office staff quite often, and because of this, nothing ever gets done around the complex - they tend to say "well the last group should've done that" but no one ever fixes the issue. ex: The dumpster doors are still banged up from a hurricane in 2022 and the building 3 doors consistently get stuck locked. The complex managers are honestly rude and never come out of their office to address issues - they will argue with you and once you prove that you're correct they won't even say a simple apology. The community events feel really cliquey and you don't feel welcomed if you're not close to the office staff. Parking is fine, but I would've felt safer if there was a gate because there were multiple breaking several times throughout the term I was living there. I wouldn't live here again, even if the apartments themselves are nice. read more

This place is a joke!! It's a disgusting place to live. What saddens me the most is its use to be such a lovely place To live here. At the time, the high rent justified it. But four years later, no ma'am. The management at Solstice Signature Apartments does not care about your wellbeing. My husband and I have been in contact with the office several times within four years. Recently, we suggested having a cleaning company come to clean the elevators and the entrance more frequently. They informed us that a lady comes by daily to clean. That's false! On 2/6/2021, our elevator in Building 2 was vandalized. Suppose a maintenance employee cleaned it up, but it was not adequately cleaned. The floors were sticky, and there was a lingering smell. We were told by the staff at solstice that they would let the cleaning lady know and that she comes in daily to clean. That's not true because the elevator was still left in the same conditions at night as that morning. They said that they believe it was two neighbors who are disputing against each other. To be honest, I do not care why it happened or who did it. That's none of my business. What I do care about is the management's response time to the situation and taking responsibility for what had occurred, and what actions they will take to avoid this happening again. An answer was not provided. On 2/7/21, the elevator in bldg two was also vandalized. I took pictures and a video so you can see it for yourself. Please save your money and do not live in this dumpster of a place. My husband and I have lived here for four years. We were one of the very first residents to live here when the apartments were built. We can't wait for our lease to expire so we can move out of this dumpster. There's a reason why you can't put lipstick on a pig. Also, the management of Solstice Signature, please do not attempt to contact me to make it better. You had four years to do that with us. I pay a lot to live here. This does not come from a hateful place. All these things are true. All I suggest is that you do a lot of research before leasing here. I regret that I didn't. There are MANY (and newer) complexes in the immediate area to choose from. An important thing to consider (that is not Solstice issue) is that this area is adding restaurants, shops and new apartment complexes QUICKLY! We are next to a remarkably busy Outlet Mall too! There will not be an I-4 ramp for a couple of years. Traffic is already bad here and the roads are not prepared for the future. The intersection of I-Drive and Daryl Carter Pkwy already backs up for several light cycles. It's going to be a nightmare that I don't look forward to. Don't ignore negative reviews. There are several disappointing things about this complex and the office staff seem apathetic. Even they are constantly leaving, so maybe they are unhappy with Northwood Ravin Management also. Safety issues? Speedy repairs? Nope. Hurricane Ian severely damaged the pond's fence (one could fall in if leaned against) and it took THREE months to fix. The dog park's gates (2) have been broken for months. The trash chute door was stuck open for at least a week and I fixed it myself because the smell was overwhelming. There is no daytime security for Building One. The other three have key fob entrance only. There is no wheelchair accommodation access to any of the buildings, which is puzzling for a newer complex. We're forced to pay for valet garbage service that often come by before I'm allowed to put my trash out or not at all. read more

This complex is deteriorating from time to time while the rent skyrocketing. We lived here for 4 years from 2018 to 2023. The first two years were very good with timely maintenance, and up-to-date faculty. With the new management change, the apartment is more focused on collecting fees and rent instead of taking care of the tenants' needs. cigarette butts, Litter, and dog poop everywhere. When you signup the first time, make sure you ask for the inventory list. They will defensively deny they received a copy, and charge you for something you do not break. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. read more

The aroma is intoxicating, the crust on the outside inviting you to dive your knife into the meat and rapidly devour the meal you've been waiting for. So in you go and... Maggots. Worms twirling around staring at you. Disease-ridden blood spilling all over your plate. HOW!? How can something so appetizing on the outside be so disgusting inside? This was the best metaphor I could come up with for Solstice. Pardon the theatrics. Seriously though.... The apartments themselves are wonderful. Well designed and appointed, spacious, reasonably priced for the amenities. But the management staff and their approach to operating this complex... unbelievable. Young couple looking to enjoy a nice modern community in Orlando? Look elsewhere. They will tow your friends cars if you invite them over for the evening and forget to register with their authoritarian-esque "on call parking" system. Which by the way.. requires your license, registration, proof of insurance... so much for privacy. Speaking of... no smoking on your balconies. That's right.. $2000 a month for a two bedroom and they'll be damned if you'd like to enjoy a smoke in your own home. Do you love your dog? Like really love them? So much so that sometimes when you leave your pup feels lonely and they whine a bit until you come home? No worries! Solstice will call ANIMAL CONTROL to make sure they're alright. They'll ask you for identification, and make a report of the incident because the apartment complex called them on you. Our pup is a 13 year old dachshund that is BELOVED. One look around our home (water fountains, automatic feeders, and photos of our baby abound) and animal control was appalled they had to waste their time out there. How about music? Are you a fan of playing music sometimes in your apartment while you do dishes or clean the bathroom? Maybe you like having the surround sound on while you watch a movie? Great!! Solstice will send their gestapo to come knock on your door, then send emails, and harass you on the phone until you answer them. Just another way Solstice is there to serve you! Today's most recent community project is what led me to realize how kind and thoughtful Solstice Signature Apartment Homes is to their tenants. Inspecting the buildings fire alarm systems is an important maintenance procedure that should be done with care to ensure the safety of all who live here. What better time to check the system than 8am on a Monday morning, individually, for each apartment door in your building, for 3 hours straight. Hope you don't work from home! Don't worry if you do though, they'll send an email out, the day of, letting you know to PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Wonderful attention to detail. All of this and more at the lovely Solstice Apartments. Be sure to ask about the constant trash room filth, non-existent "valet trash" they charge you for monthly, broken pond fountains, spider and wasp infested community grill areas, window fixture restrictions, ridiculously long maintenance request fulfillment, lost packages due to a system they have 0 access to, the parking lot bandit who breaks into your vehicles, stickers being put on your car for parking backwards or having expired plates... the list goes on! read more

Do not live here. Unless you want your vehicle broken into, there is no gate or security that patrols the lots. But they do have onsite towing that will tow residents for backing into parking spaces even though it's so much safer than having to back out of a parking space because of how fast cars drive in the parking lot. But wait it gets better, they'll tow you again in 24 hours saying that your vehicle isn't registered in they onsite system, that requests every detail about your vehicle, but don't worry, register it and they'll just decline it anyways. 3 years in and it's definitely gone down hill the last year. Can't go relax by the pool because the music is so LOUD! (Tried posting a video of it on here, but no videos aloud).okay, I'll sit on the balcony and read my book then, yep not in peace you're not. People seriously act like its their personal home and will blast music all hours of the night. To where pictures on the wall shake ( we're building 1 facing pool). That's what you get when management/owners make your apartment home both an apartment and hotel. Never have I heard an apartment renting out rooms to vacationers without a lease. 2) The dog park gate has been broken FOR MONTHS! My husband has gone and fixed it with our own personal money many times because management/owners do nothing to fix it. We finally gave up because it was getting expensive and people would just continue to bust the lock. We pay over $3000 a month in rent alone and shouldn't be paying to fix amenities to keep our animals safe!but management will get on the portal and tell you to close both gate for safety. How the frack do you do that when they are broken!?! 3) keep wet wipes with you because you're definitely going to step in poop from time to time. From both dogs and humans. Yeah, you read that right! Not just outside in the grass, but the sidewalk, elevator and breezeway‍ 4))Dogs at the barista is getting ridiculous. Why you ask? Well your can't take your dogs through the front or side door OR wait by the elevator without trouble. Little dogs are chatty and big dogs are protectors. They bark , that's what dogs do and I get that. But how to you prevent excess barking when a dog is just sitting at the barista and you feel closed in. I refuse to have my bigger dog "put down" because he's bigger if something were to go down between dogs that shouldn't have even been there. That's a horrible worry we face every time you wanna take your dog potty. 5) we have a see something, say something paper posted/ it's the most unhelpful advice. The bond emergency number isn't even for our area. 6) it's almost essential to wear a reflective vest every time you walk to your car or across the street because the drivers are so stinking dangerous. They speed like crazy! Why they haven't gotten more speed bumps put in I'll never know. I'll close on this; just like people, "just because it's pretty on the outside, doesn't mean it is on the inside ". Figuratively speaking Even as I'm writing this, my wall pictures are shaking from the pool radio. I am currently a new tenant (since August 2022) and the experience thus far has been excellent. The management team is friendly and welcoming! They always know who you are! It's a very pet friendly community! And when you submit a work order they are completed almost immediately! The neighbors are fantastic and the gym is state of the art and they even offer HIIT classes, social events and there is our friendly barista who caters to our conversations and caffeine cravings! The pool side setting is so super gorgeous and your apartment will make you feel like luxury living! Stop by and enjoy the beauty of Solstice; you'll be so happy you did! The elevator was down this morning, we were concerned due to heading out to go grocery shopping. We called it in and spoke with Bri. Within the time frame we went grocery shopping and came back, the elevator was up and running again! I don't leave yelp comments - however, it needs to be known how GREAT Bri is here! Since we've moved in, 2020, any question or concerns we have Bri has taken the time to make sure we were not only taken care of, but she also does it all in a timely manner! Highly disappointed with this community. The only reason I am giving it the stars it has, is because of the Maintenance guys. They are always willing to help. They work hard, and I see them doing what needs to be done. They are overworked, BIG TIME. However, management is awful, I've been here since this was pre-construction, when my building was the only open one. I understood then, that there will be some trials and tribulations, but we have gone thru so many people in that leasing office. It's ridiculous. To be honest, I fell in love with these floor plans, the neighborhood, and the initial people I met who worked here (Van), they truly made me feel like this is where I want to live. Then she left, then Erica took over, she was amazing, then she left. Then we had Jonathan, couldn't be happier with him, then he left. Then we had Gio, he is still here. I have nothing to say about that. And not to mention the countless of temps coming in and out of the leasing office. Some who were wonderful and others who should never work with the public. When I moved in, we were told we'd have security, we don't have security. We were told, all lobbies of each building would be decorated, the only one decorated is building one, all the other buildings look a mess. We were told, dogs would get DNA testing for the poop issue to avoid poop all over the property, that never happen. We were told we'd have a 'car spa', nothing. The doggie park, is next to a lake, so frogs are usually in the park, which I can't bring my dog to play, also no real activities for him in the actual park, it's just a fenced in area. I feel my building is neglected, there is feces on the rugs, in the elevator, trash left out for more than 48 hours(we're supposed to get fined for that), balconies that look like homeless shelters(we're supposed to get fined for that), poop all over the property(I can't walk my dog, without stepping on poop at night). For it being a 'luxury' building, it's missing so much. Things truly need to change around here. Carlos and the rest of the crew are so overworked and under appreciated, I feel, that they truly need to bring in more staff. Instead of investing money in a 'barista' invest some money in getting more maintenance people in here. One per building. If you are going to move to Solstice, please don't be fooled by the lipstick being slapped on a pig. It's still a pig. This place needs some serious help! UPDATE: final move out!! This place is truly a shit show!! I would NEVER EVER, recommend this place. I was in the process of buying a house when our contract needed to be renewed, upon renewing (Which by the way took 4 weeks to even meet with Gino, the now new 'manager') told us we could sign a 12 month lease with a contingency that if we found a home, we can bring the contract and once the house is complete we can break our lease, the minimum of months was 7 to break the lease...we told Gino, that the 7 months was too long. And he was so insistent to tell us, 'don't worry, we will figure something out, you guys are my favorite tenants' BULLSHIT. Around comes my closing, around comes our move in date, and NO ONE ANSWERS, not Gino, not Gino's Manager. They are AWFUL. Gino, who has no idea how to run a property, tells my mother 'I don't think I can tell upper management anything now that I am manager. They will think what type of ship am I running' you're running a sinking ship!! That's what. I have plenty of proof what what luxury at this building gets you!! - shit in the hallways - dog piss in the elevators - 'fuck' written all over the walls' - trash all over the hallways - filthy rugs - it's a 'smoke free property with SO MANY cig butts all over the property I'm glad I bought my house, and I am out of this shit hole!! read more

If I move to ORLANDO, this is the location I want. It's convenient to go shopping the outlets and restaurants are within walking distance. If I could give zero stars I would, they're nice and accommodating until you sign the lease. After living in numerous apartments, this management company is by far the most difficult to work with. My bathroom ceiling has had a gapping hole in it from December 2019-April 2021. I've given them numerous times to resolve this issue and they dropped the ball every time. Twice, we were purposely gone from our apartment the entire day so the "scheduled contractors" could do what they needed to, only to come home and find the leaking hole untouched. Absolutely no communication as to why. Large families take over the common spaces. This creates quite a bit of noise into all hours of the night. You can't use half of the amenities you pay for because they're over run by one resident and every single person they know. I'm pretty sure at least 2 units are listed on Airbnb but management refuses to do anything about it. Parking is a pain. There aren't enough spots for residents alone and if you want to have any sort of visitor after 9pm, there's always a rush to register the car before they tow, hoping the website to do so isn't down like it typically was. The "community events" are a COVID cesspool of staff not properly wearing masks or practicing social distancing. Not to mention, they refuse to acknowledge my deposit even though it's clearly displayed in my lease. There have been numerous issues with poor book keeping, including "making an error" on my original lease, not recording that we paid for an extra key and refused to provide us with what we paid for, and not properly documenting my deposit. They blame it on prior management and say they've been "cleaning up their mess" for some time now. Honestly, avoid at all costs. Save the money and rent a house somewhere nearby. read more

The property management team has always been helpful in addressing any questions/concerns we've had and their maintenance team is very responsive to requests. I will start by saying I do NOT write reviews as a rule. I have been in the service industry for years and understand there will be issues. But today Northwood Raven just pushed me over the top! They are the current managers of the Solstice Orlando apartments. I was one of the first move ins when they opened, and I must say the folks operating at the time were friendly and really great. Very helpful. However, they moved on and over the years....... YIKES! First, there have been many structural issues. My apartment had window leaks from the beginning. I thought it was my unit only as I was at the end of the hall. Over the years the landscaping has matured and continually beats against the windows. But it was from the start. After conversations, it was revealed the complex was apparently suing the construction company. Head maintenance told me this at one point. The tenants apparently had resolution so the windows could be repaired. My second bedroom was disgusting. All around the window and the blinds. Fortunately, I used it more as storage, but it was bad. Finally well into my living at the complex they advise someone would come out at seal the windows. Whatever they did it did not work. I moved in May and a number of months before I did I was advised they would have a crew out under supervision from corporate maintenance to repair the windows. I was also advised we were to move all furniture from blocking windows. Now these are small apartments and that was a ridiculous request. When they arrived I advised they could move the furniture themselves. How ridiculous was that???? In any event the corporate gent saw the damage and promised he would have it resolved. Not before i moved. PLEASE NOTE THE CARPET IN THE SECOND BEDROOM WAS DAMAGED BY THE WATER PENETRATION. The entire situation involved my entire time living there. Another construction issue was the flooring. Only the bedrooms were carpeting, so not much carpeting. The common area flooring was beautiful when we looked at the apartment. However, there were apparently issues with the floors as we were advised they needed to replace them. I had many book cases and lots of furniture. They finally agreed we would not be bothered and they would resolve the floor issue when we moved. I guess they felt this was a concession. But note we enjoyed many days of hammering and banging as they changed out flooring. The common areas are not well kept. Often dirty with left behinds from pets. The landscape was out of control. See prior comment. A recent manager made some effort, but landscape is an investment and they clearly do not want to do what needs to be done. Watch out for end apartments as you will not have a quiet evening when the wind blows! Parking is a challenge. Pay for parking and it is not secure. Supposedly you have to have a sticker. However, many cars without stickers and I often had to park far from the door. As I rule I advise anyone to check crime stats via the police department. Definitely suggest you do so. I was in the main building and there is but one elevator. This is the building with the clubhouse. The same small elevator is used for daily traffic, move ins and move outs. It is ridiculous. Cheaply planned and executed. Moving is a nightmare! They do nothing to help. I understand the tenant flow will go on with a move, but you would think they would at least want to schedule just one move during a given period. Not so! Imagine when there is more than one move going on and tenants, and pets. YIKES!t Finally, on moving as I was relocating I had spoken the assistant manager at the time. I told her I was moving quickly and wanted to pay for a cleaning service so I would not have to worry about it. She gave me a reduction on a $200 cleaning fee and I paid in advance, so I felt I was all set. After leaving with an early departure fee all paid, I get a bill for $70.19. I mention the early departure fee was almost $5,000. The bill for $70.19 was for replacement carpet along with a cleaning fee. This plus my original $300 deposit they felt I owed. Please note the comments on carpeting above. It was damaged due to their window leaks. As for the cleaning, I had already paid for it. I was told the added fee was for a "deep cleaning". So I was going to just walk away and forget about it as I said I do not typically write reviews. After trying to dispute it I figured I would just pay. I told the complex I would do so. I went on the site to pay immediately and they had shut down my account. Kinda ridiculous. I ended up mailing them a check which was returned. The address was correct. I put this returned envelope into a larger envelope and sent again. I continued to receive e-mails from them saying I owed money. I responded several times to no avail. Today I called them. The lady said they do not show receiving the money. I had checked my bank account and the check had cleared. She instructed I send the information and she expected it this evening. read more

If you're looking for a seamless, positive experience while shopping around for apartments I'd say Solstice is probably one of the worst places to look. I was initially interested in the property because Solstice is close to where I conduct business from, as well as the fact that the apartments did look pretty nice based on what I saw on the website. However, from the very beginning our leasing agent (Van Dang) was very robotic and made us feel kind of awkward. The apartments had a lot of what we were looking for, so we decided to look past that and move forward with considering it for our future home. When we arrived for the tour, we were taken through a construction area and shown an almost complete apartment. This was totally fine since we knew going into the experience that the whole place was still being built. I did like the spaciousness of the apartments as well as the build quality, which seemed semi-decent. I wasn't too thrilled that the balconies aren't screened in, especially for the amount of money they're charging. They also advertise online that they will have a hot tub, but upon getting the tour we were told that the photos online are just photos from their other properties to show what Solstice might look like. It was a little misleading, in my opinion, and probably shouldn't have been used in the advertisement. I honestly felt like this was a marketing ploy to just get people in the door. After the tour, we sat down with Van and we were very open and honest about our current credit situation. I didn't want to apply here and give them the $100 non-refundable fee if this was going to be a huge deciding factor against us. I felt like she really gave us the run around in regards to the whole application process and not a real clear answer. This was initially why we decided to put Solstice on the back burner. Then, Van contacted us a couple of weeks later and offered us a way better price. We didn't really want to pass up the deal, but we were still a little bit on the fence since we couldn't get a clear answer from her about the application. She just kept telling us to pay the $100 and see what happens. I think for most people, $100 isn't just throw away money but she just kept passing it off as no big deal. We went up there and asked her multiple times about the credit situation and still couldn't get a clear answer. When we were up front and honest with the leasing agent for the apartment we currently live in, they gave us a clear answer and didn't beat around the bush. In the end, we chanced it and decided to apply. Van told us she would be able to give us an answer no later than the end of the next day. Well, we did everything on Friday morning and didn't hear back until Monday night. Of course, they denied us based on (you guessed it) our credit. This was what we were trying to avoid from the beginning, but I feel a little like I got bamboozled into handing over $100 for no reason. I felt like Van was just trying to get a sale and not really trying to deliver true customer service even if it wasn't going to benefit her in the end. I'm really unhappy about how the whole situation played out since now I'm out $100 for the exact reason I didn't want to be out the money. The way everything played out seemed really manipulative. If you're shopping for apartments, I'd say skip Solstice and save yourself the headache. read more

These apartments are really really nice. The craftsmanship inside definitely could use some work but the amenities are very nice and it's a quiet complex to live in. We really enjoy the nice swimming pool and the hot tub and cold tub is nice, however, the Cold tub is too cold. The temp needs to be turned up at least 5° even then, it would still feel like an ice cube! I literally screamed when i was going in. If you're looking for a nice place to live in this area I highly recommend solstice signature apartments. read more

Solstice is a decent place to live. The amenities are good and the apartments are nice. However, there are definitely some areas that could do with improvement. There is always a lot of dog poop around the property, people drive way too fast (to the point where it feels dangerous to cross the parking lot), and management don't enforce their own rules (dogs at the barista bar and people making a lot of noise at the pool after hours, to name a few). I enjoy living here but the negatives are frustrating. If Solstice could solve some of these problems it would be a 5-star apartment complex. read more

Apartment and building as a whole including amenities are really good. Only thing that brings down the review is the management. They don't enforce any of their own rules from allowing dogs at the barista bar (staff just ignore it) to having a movie night starting at 9pm on a weeknight with volume hitting over 109db (inside our apartment). They tried to add a "mandatory" annual fee for package storage even after saying it was free before signing up for the lease. The list goes on. read more

I unfortunately have to lower my rating as I have watched Solstice disintegrate into an unsafe and unkept disaster. When I moved into Solstice, everything was great except for the Air BnB problem. Nothing has been done about the Air BnBs so there's still a massive level of transiency throughout the community. As the original tenants have moved out and onto better things, it seems like the office staff has gotten very relaxed with who they are approving to be tenants. I was literally approached by a new tenant who asked where she can buy weed and cocaine. This particular tenant also never walks her dogs on a leash and her dogs have tried to attack my dog since she has no control over them. I have brought this issue to the office staff multiple times and nothing has been done. They clearly do not care about enforcing the law. There have been a lot of drive by robberies at gunpoint because there is no gate and no security system. There aren't any security cameras outside the buildings as well. To top it all off, the office management used myself and my dog as a point of interest in getting a tenant evicted. This tenant was my friend and a large part of why I loved living here so much. The office staff tried to say that his dog attacked and harmed my dog just so they could evict him!! And when I went to the office to dispute it, I was met with "I can't discuss other tenants' situations with you." Well, you could use me as a reason to evict them so I believe that I at least deserve to know why you falsified information and lied just to get rid of someone you didn't like or agree with. It worries me that they can get away with all of this. I will definitely not be renewing my lease here. read more

Rating is based on the tour and what I saw, as I don't (yet) live there. I scheduled a Saturday tour as I'll be moving in the next 45-60 days. My appointment was scheduled online and was flexible to my schedule. We met Erin who was very sweet. She showed a few different rooms, which were all stunning. They all had wood floors, gorgeous bathroom, huge kitchen with islands, 11 foot ceilings, and plenty of floor to ceiling windows. Erin also answered all of my questions and made the pricing and process simple. Like most newer complexes, there are a number of fees, so keep that in mind. There are application fees, admin fees, and those are in addition to the deposit. Also note that this complex does "dynamic pricing", so the prices you see on the website may not reflect the actual prices. With all that being said, I really enjoyed solstice and am strongly considering it for my next apartment. It's near the top - it's going to come down to availability and not playing games with the price. Time will tell - but gergeous place, indeed. read more

I still have wishful thinking that the issues I have experienced will be resolved. In all staff is very kind and friendly, great with weekly communication to residents, great upkeep with the community areas. There are a few smaller things that could be worked on. No matter where you go to find living, there will always be some cons to the pros. It's the people who work on it and continue to improve while building a rapport with the residents that is hard to find. read more

Beware of Solstice Apartments. Just this Sunday, July 18th a brand new Dodge Charger Hellcat was stolen from right in front of a door. There are ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS or any security measures to help with the prevention of this type of crime. The complex is NO help and Channon Jefferson, the property manager, even suggested that he had to replace the garage door opener that was stolen with the car. If they are stealing cars, there's no stopping them from attacking people. Save yourselves, your property and your money. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!!!!! read more

My name is Shannan, not Hannah, and I won't be living here after my lease is up. I had hoped to stay until my house is finished, but the month-to-month rate is not affordable. My request to stay four months at the five-month rate was denied. I have to put everything in storage and stay with family and friends for three to four months. To add insult to injury the new washer is a used washer and is disgustingly dirty and has the fewest number of settings on any washer I have ever seen outside of a shared laundry room. This is no longer a safe apartment complex to reside in. My husbands vehicle was stolen on Sunday 7/18/2021. The car was right in front of the building door. We've addressed this with the Community Manager Channon Jefferson, who has NOT helped in any kind of way. The matter is being dealt with in a very nonchalant way, as if this is not a priority at this time. Along with that, she expressed to us that we will have to pay for the garage opener that was also in the STOLEN car (although this was out of our control). The property does NOT have an adequate surveillance system. There are absolutely NO CAMERAS around any of the buildings. We were told that there are only two external cameras and they are only within the entrance of the property attached to the leasing office. BEWARE, as this property does NOT have ANY SAFETY MEASURES in place for their residents. We have been at this property for less than 6 months and have NEVER dealt with anything like this before. Again, THIS IS NOT A SAFE PROPERTY. On June 29, we received notification from the apartment complex that there were "several vehicles" that were broken into on the property as well. read more
