My parents sought couples counseling hoping for a neutral, professional environment where both of…read morethem would feel heard. Instead, they experienced one of the most unprofessional and damaging therapy sessions they have ever had. Throughout the session, Brian repeatedly sided with my father while criticizing and belittling my mother. He called her "controlling" and even a "gold digger"--labels that were judgmental, humiliating, and completely inappropriate coming from a mental health professional. Rather than helping them communicate or understand one another, he seemed intent on tearing my mother down. She left the session feeling attacked, embarrassed, and emotionally devastated. The most shocking part was that at the end of the appointment, Brian told them he only wanted to continue therapy with my father. That completely undermined the purpose of couples counseling. Instead of working to help the relationship or support both partners equally, he effectively dismissed my mother and chose one side. As they were leaving, he said "adiós" to my Hispanic mother while simply saying "goodbye" to my white father. Whether intentional or not, it came across as insensitive and left my family feeling disrespected. A couples therapist's role is to create a safe, balanced, and impartial environment--not to shame one partner, take sides, and end the session by suggesting he would rather only work with the other spouse. My parents paid for professional guidance and instead walked away feeling judged, humiliated, and worse off than when they arrived. Based on their experience, I would strongly discourage anyone seeking couples counseling from choosing this provider. Dr. Cristina Marier

This provider fraudulently billed my insurance with a false diagnosis to justify her reason for billing and then falsified my records in her notes. I reached out to the director multiple times Bill Rush asking him to send me my entire assessment. I explained in multiple letters that this provider Diana Travis -Bryan falsified my records for monetary gain and refused to redact it. After multiple requests sent to Bill for redaction, Bill Rush ignored all of my concerns and has not sent my records. I filed complaints with the professional board of Psychology. This provider is the reason why DHS is very present in Minnesota. "Christian" them does not mean the same as Following Christ. Avoid this provider at all costs, and check your insurance provider to find out if a false diagnosis was given to secure payment.

That new class had 2 people! No more than 2 weeks after, I was told to transfer back. I've had 3 different therapists. 1 out of the 3 was great. First therapist never followed up with me or told me that I'd need to schedule my own appointments. The second therapist was second but I had found a job so our times were conflicted. Ans the 3rd was my last straw. She had been calling in last minute and have done no shows and a warning of 5-10 mins AFTER I have been waiting on the lobby. I understand that certain situations shows up but Nystorms's are dealing with addicts and mental health! Get a substitute therapist to step in! There should no exceptions what so ever to helping someone deal with their mental health. Last but not least, they have been having CONSTANT tech issues with their video chat links. I've the representatives over and over about it and nothing was done about it!!! I decided to venture out and find another place for a more active therapist.
