Whenever he reported an undesirable side effect, they all seemed to refuse to believe him and their response was more meds. He came to Ryan Zinken, CPNP at Horizon Psychiatry in an over-medicated mess, taking 4 different psychiatric meds, 2 of which were pretty nasty anti-psychotics. Ryan listened to our concerns and has successfully removed one med and we are in the process of removing a 2nd med. Ryan's approach is very conservative, thoughtful and patient. It's quite the process, but so far, so good. This has been a prayer answered, my son has not felt this good in a long time. If you have been frustrated by psychiatric providers who are quick to add medications and slow to taper/remove the meds that don't work or make you feel bad, I would highly recommend Ryan.

Nothing has changed about my initial review which was extremely positive and I've run into my fair share of poor health care in the last 7 years and 362 days. The Minnesota ketamine health and wellness clinic is one of the few institutions I'm aware of with their intentions facing outwards. By that I mean YOU. They are focused on you and your care and quality of life. This is a systemic ordeal throughout the clinic. Meaning whether from the front desk to the owner or vice versa every person or mechanism in place is in your best interest. I've had nothing but positive experiences here and have absolutely no reason to change that train of thought ever. Sometimes I have a tough ketamine session, the owner (Christy) is right there along with a nurse or two. They always alleviate the situation and are pure and simple salt of the earth people!! The owner, Christy then will use her extreme knowledge and wisdom to help assist me in anyway possible from a tough ketamine experience or train of thought I'm struggling to articulate. I was getting tossed around the system for my psychiatrist needs and decided to do medication management with Lindsey which was one of the best decisions I made this year! She's smart as a whip, implements some very practical principles which make life easier when dealing with multiple rx's and insurance. That alone was a blessing in disguise. Not to mention you can tell she is truly invested, wants to improve people's lives who are stagnant and simply suffering. Combine this with the rest of the staff like the nurses who are always a joy to see and could light up a room with their smiles and attitude and you have a business running perfectly. After my third infusion I thought it wasn't working so I was going to stop. Well a few days later I had some thoughts pop into my head about things I had previously thought negatively about; however, my feelings were changed about them. I was kind of blown away. So now it's been a year and I am so happy with the person I am today. Even other people tell me how I've changed. The office staff here are so amazing. They are very professional with a side of absolute compassion. I just love them like family. I've loved my treatment so much that I have added a Ketamine Integration Therapist who works here. My therapy is going so well. She is amazing. I've also added an MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC professional to work with me on medication management. One other great thing is I am a 59 year old woman and was finally clinically diagnosed with ADHD and finally being treated for it. That has made the biggest difference as well. So, I feel like all three services being provided has made the hugest difference and change in me. Please go here if you are struggling.

I gave it one star because its almost impossible to call and not be put on hold for more than a minimum of 5-10min. Even scheduling in person is insane. They attempt to do everything electronically on IPADS but it seems to cause more issue. They also have not yet straightened out an on going filing error they made so we spend at least 10 min explaining and almost arguing over their mistake. They just seem to always be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. On the other hand the therapist I've met is great! Libby is awesome :)

They don't cancel appointments on me as I am travelling to said appointment and they seem to do a pretty good job of communicating my needs to chemists/pharmacists (I have some pretty odd allergies). Dr. Lori and her team have done more for my whole-body/life health in the last 6 months than Nystrom and others did in a combination of 14+years. I only wish I had switched sooner! I love their flexibility and non-guilt-trip attitude when the rare occasion does occur such as you were called in to work and will be unable to make an appointment. My single gripe is that scheduling appointments can take a little longer than you'd want. You can spend quite a while standing there. I don't know what a receptionist job there entails, but I feel like there's probably a way to streamline that. Yay FLMHC! I love your no-nonsense approach to helping others! Your staff seems to truly have genuine compassion as well. They're not just there because it's a way to pay the bills!

Unfortunately, I found out I do have a hearing loss. Sarah was very kind and did a great job of explaining my options. Sarah helped me find a hearing aide that worked for me. It has taken a few months of trial and error, but think I have now found something that will work for me. I am glad I went to Sarah to help improve my hearing and quality of life!
