I put the request in and got a response saying the first opening is in June...that's 4 months from now... I would've been fine with even a month or month and a half, but June? Maybe they should change their website claim because I was absolutely heartbroken :( the quest for a psychologist continues!

The cancellation fee is enforced even if you're just trying to move the appointment to a different date. If they're okay with their clients being put at risk physically, I'm not sure why anybody would trust them with their care. The response I received to this review contradicts nearly everything I was told when calling the office. We were told that the cancellation fee would apply despite the ice on the roads. Icy roads = Inclement weather, and it's ridiculous to assert otherwise.

I didn't have any preconceived notions going into my time with Hazelden, I just knew that I wanted to stop drinking alcohol and I couldn't do it on my own. I successfully completed programming with Hazelden in March 2021 just days after I marked 6 months of sobriety. The Minnesota ketamine health and wellness clinic is one of the few institutions I'm aware of with their intentions facing outwards. By that I mean YOU. They are focused on you and your care and quality of life. This is a systemic ordeal throughout the clinic. Meaning whether from the front desk to the owner or vice versa every person or mechanism in place is in your best interest. I've had nothing but positive experiences here and have absolutely no reason to change that train of thought ever. Sometimes I have a tough ketamine session, the owner (Christy) is right there along with a nurse or two. They always alleviate the situation and are pure and simple salt of the earth people!! The owner, Christy then will use her extreme knowledge and wisdom to help assist me in anyway possible from a tough ketamine experience or train of thought I'm struggling to articulate. I was getting tossed around the system for my psychiatrist needs and decided to do medication management with Lindsey which was one of the best decisions I made this year! She's smart as a whip, implements some very practical principles which make life easier when dealing with multiple rx's and insurance. That alone was a blessing in disguise. Not to mention you can tell she is truly invested, wants to improve people's lives who are stagnant and simply suffering. Combine this with the rest of the staff like the nurses who are always a joy to see and could light up a room with their smiles and attitude and you have a business running perfectly. After my third infusion I thought it wasn't working so I was going to stop. Well a few days later I had some thoughts pop into my head about things I had previously thought negatively about; however, my feelings were changed about them. I was kind of blown away. So now it's been a year and I am so happy with the person I am today. Even other people tell me how I've changed. The office staff here are so amazing. They are very professional with a side of absolute compassion. I just love them like family. I've loved my treatment so much that I have added a Ketamine Integration Therapist who works here. My therapy is going so well. She is amazing. I've also added an MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC professional to work with me on medication management. One other great thing is I am a 59 year old woman and was finally clinically diagnosed with ADHD and finally being treated for it. That has made the biggest difference as well. I got charged 81 bucks for lack of 24 hours because they finall called myt wo days after my appointment. I was vomiting so much the hospital treated me for dehydration. 4 days later I wanted to kill myself. I had a plan an was ready to execute. Luckily Aliini health called and said I was risking my life if I did not get hydrated. Time for.me to find a new clinic. With a deep heart I will miss Nurse Danielle.

We were connected with a therapist in the Maple Grove location. After about 4 visits we were told that our therapist was no longer employed. So for the 3rd time in less than a year we are trying to meet with a family therapist. We met with one last night at the Shoreview location and it went great so I am just hoping they don't leave suddenly. What is going on at Ellie that there seems to be so much turnover?? Are they not treating their staff well? Beware

Understaffing: While the program is technically run on a split between three and four groups, and ideally is one staff to four to five; group leader were sometimes in-charge of groups of 8 to 9! But due to staffing it was often reduced to a larger two group schedule that did not follow legal ratios. Poor staff behavior: There was hardly any help from coworkers, and one staff in particular who has seniority spoke in such an angry voice. One staff was fired about a year ago for bringing a smoking accessory on their person, putting residents at risk. The only swift and appropriate action was them being fired for smoking on property of last year. Poor staff retention: This was told in training by the therapists in May of 2025 "The average Residential Counselor lasts on average 6 months.". Parents, please do your research. Anywhere but here

Staff also told her that they ere not going to report this to me(her PO), and told her she wasn't allowed to tell me. Every time I speak to staff I get different answers and nothing matches up. They also claim to offer DBT, but in the week she has been at this facility the have only done one DBT during which they played charade. They also only do one group a day. my sister said she got more out of inpatient at a hospital then at this "treatment" facility.
