SOMA has good quality lingerie but the pleasure from purchasing beautiful lingerie is ruined by customer care. I was sent 25 dollars coupon which i used but the order was cancelled by the store which is not the 1st time and coupon does not work any more. 3 times talking to customer support did not help, I spent about an hour in total talking to customer support and finally lost my temper. The conclusion is - stores require better stuff taking good care about their inventory to be correct or for other reason (if they are paid % from sales, I understand why they cancel orders with coupons) and better customer support team By they way, during last call the prices and deals for products I asked were different from customer support side than information on the website. So they should hire better stuff to manage business. Will go buy lingerie to Spanx, hope they manage their company better. read more

Service at this store is beyond mediocre. Thumbs down to the store manager that made a scene just because she was unhappy that I was there to return items. She was rude, disrespectful and acted very uneducated. I was also there a couple of weekends ago and she was rushing me out because the store was closing in 30 minutes, even though I was only trying on 2 items. Small store in the stone crest area. Staff are nice and strongly want to help as "experts" of the panty and bra world. I like the material or fabric used in several of somas products the price however is another story. Semi annual or with coupons you can get some sexy good finds. They try to cater to all crowds so you will see the classic granny panty beside the sheer thong. Soma will send you coupons do discounts if you turn in a used bra for "charity". I think the bras fit differently versus the competitors. Sizes are really different so get sized before you buy. You will have a sales person eager to help you and sale here which is good but be careful of the "sales" part of the associate. I think the store is clean and they have several nice products. read more

I like the merchandise but service has been less than stellar on my last couple of visits. I would really prefer to order online and just skip the store. However, I have noticed the sizes are not really true across all styles... so I have to try on before I buy. :-/ read more

Rude and unhelpful service. A store clerk walked right past and looked me in the eye as I asked for help. She completely ignored me because I told my friend the truth (that the dress she tried on didn't fit well). Try another of the millions of places in Charlotte that sell "Intimates". I thought they were overpriced as well. read more

Soma has the best bras, especially if you need something that will flatter and lift! I am always helped promptly upon arrival. I wear a size that is really tough to find but they carry it at Soma. read more

Today I thought I would treat myself and purchase new bras. I was so looking forward to my experience because it was so pleasant last year when I visited the stonecrest store. As soon as I walked in there was total silence and the associate at the counter did not even look up to acknowledge me. She continued to place items on hangers and I continued to walk toward her and then past her as she hung up the items. I was able to browse around the entire small store and proceeded to walk around for a second time, but decided to say goodbye to the associate before departing. She then smiled at me and was starting to thank me, but realized that I was not happy. Another associate had entered the store as I walking out and she asked if everything was okay and I told her NO. I let her know that I was completely ignored by the associate at counter and was leaving the store. She looked totally suprised because we were literally the only two people in a store that you could hear a pin drop. The associate finally spoke up and said that she did not see me. I thought to myself, you can't be serious and you shouldn't be working by yourself if you can't multitask. You should always keep you eyes on the door of your business or at least look up occasionally because we are living in a different time and it is important to have good safety practices in place. I believe that I would have had a better experience with the second associate because she was greeting me as I was leaving and didn't even know why I was leaving so the one star is for her. read more

In comparison to the SOMA store in St. Armand's Circle SARASOTA, FL, this store pales to comparison and must lose a lot of potential sales. I know I'll never come back. I was looking for a couple new bras and post holiday sale PJ's for my sister. I was greeted asI walked into the store but, nobody offered to help me. All this time one sales associate was helping a customer and the other three were just hanging out and talking among themselves. They were dressed in black but, no name tags so, it was confusing to know initially who worked the store. At the Sarasota SOMA store they wear dressier black outfits and name tags. I finally flagged down a person and asked her if she worked there. She was while helpful while her other three co workers did nothing. She wasn't forthright about the sale of two bras, as she was trying to sell me the ones not on sale and didn't speak highly of the embraceable style, which clearly fit the best on me. She was also off with my bra size but, my selection was correct. She didn't offer to size me and none of the staff members had tape measures. In Sarasota, they all have them around their neck. My mom, who's not as SOMA savy had a similarly disappointing experience where the manager couldn't be bothered and the part time employer wasn't alerted to a free panty item. It's too bad as SOMA has a unique opportunity to create a wonderful relaxing, appreciative and completely catered shopping experience for a woman. I personally couldn't get out of here fast enough and spent less than half of what I'd normally spend. Their clothes selection is extremely limited and this is the only semi annual sale were so many items seem to still be so high in price or not on sale at all. During my checkout experience my saleslady was needed in the back to help another customer so she asked another associate to take over my sale. I visited this woman was not happy to do so as it was not her commission and it was pretty apparent. The lack of teamwork at the store among the associates is painfully obvious. They all need to spend a day at the Sarasota St. Armand's Soma and let Yolanda and her team show how it should be done.
