Young Employees all on their phones talking about their personal lives....seemed like the manager was one of them. They gave me another customer's receipt at my last visit and told me I would be refunded $ which never appeared on my account (because it wasn't mine). When I went back to ask why it didn't appear not knowing it wasn't supposed to, they gave me an attitude and dismissed me, told me to call customer service and they could not help even though their employee made the mistake. Then, when I asked them to call being that it was their employee's mistake, they realized it was another customers receipt they gave me instead of mine with an attitude and gave me the correct receipt instead. It's not about the fuckin $ I don't need it. It's about the fact that I received No apology for the confusion or inconvenience caused and that turns you off from stepping foot into that store again. read more

Loved dealing with Tammy she was awesome ! Never been a customer at Soma before but will continue to shop at the Paramus Park store which by the was was so clean and organized. All the staff were super welcoming but I had the luck of the drawn and had Tammy helping me she was so great, helpful, professional and listened to my issues than found me the perfect bras! Tammy is a asset to the company and deserved a big shout out she is keeper for sure. I'll be back. TY :) read more

it's been a while since i've been to soma. i was in paramus park mall and i made a big mistake. i went into the soma store. i was in that store about 20 minutes. looked a bras, panties and nightgowns etc... no one and i repeat no one approached me to see if i needed any help. not even a hello!!!! i went in there for the main purpose of buying merchandise. but it was clearly obvious not one employee gave a damn! the employees were to busy talking to each other. well let me tell you soma .... you lost my business! forever! i will never go into a soma or chico's again. never never never. you lost a customer that was going to spend money. i needed to do some serious shopping. but your employees were to busy yakking away. not caring they had a customer ready to shop in a very empty store. shame on your manager. shame on soma! read more

Horrible customer service. I have shopped in this store numerous times and only for convenience of the location. Always multiple sales people standing around counter talking loudly about personal lives and when you ask for help they act as if you are bothering them and make you wait to then give minimal service with an attitude. A direct reflection on store management which I believe was one of the people who couldn't be bothered when I was in there today. read more

I am on the never-ending search of finding a comfortable, supportive bra. It has been impossible! Soma had a display in the window for this bra that was supposed to be EXTREMELY comfortable (the Vanishing Back - I happened to be interested in the wire-free). The saleswoman who helped me was very nice and helpful. She studied the fit of the sizes I tried on and gave me her expert opinion. I ended up buying a larger cup than I had been wearing. For the 10 minutes that I had it on in the store, this bra WAS extremely comfortable. However, during the first day of wear, i noticed that I started popping out of the center and that I kept squirming my upper body to try to adjust the way the bra was sitting on me. I tried wearing it another day, adjusting the straps, carefully positioning myself in it........long story short was that this bra was more uncomfortable than the one that i had been wearing and was looking to "upgrade" from! I contacted customer service via email. They said that they could not guarantee me a particular outcome but that I should go to the store and speak to the manager and hopefully they would do something for me, especially since I had a sales person advising me on the size and style I should buy. So, off to the store I went - to return the same bra in a different color that I never wore and to speak to them about the one that I did wear twice. I understand their return policy (only unworn merchandise) however I did feel that since I received guidance from a sales associate on what size to buy, not to mention that it was not cheap, I should at least be able to get a store credit or an exchange for something else in the store (maybe a different style bra that would work better for me). They processed my return but were not willing to do anything for me on the other one. Now I am out $40+ and have a bra sitting in my drawer that will not be worn again. Unfortunately, for this reason, I will not be shopping at Soma again. It's too bad because they (and their clothing side - Chicos) have some nice stuff. I just can't take the chance of spending money in a store that seems disinterested in working with their customers to make sure that they are comfortable and satisfied. read more

Felt so sad leaving because the employee told me I can't expect to find a sexy bra being a DDD. She told me that they don't want me to tie my shoes & fall out. I understand if they didn't have anything for me but no need to be rude. read more

After wandering in and out of the various stores, in the mall, I saw something in the window that caught my eye. I went in a looked around a bit, a salesperson approached and asked if she could help. I asked about the items I saw in the window, but they didn't have my size. The saleslady tried to see if she had anything similar in my size, but it was a no go. I did see some other things, and she helped me find my size. She was pleasant, knew the merchandise, and professional. This was my first time shopping here and I very much appreciated the level of customer service I received. Luckily,what I bought did work out for me fit wise (it's always a crap shoot with underpinnings). Trying something on in the store and wearing it throughout the day are definitely 2 different things so I feel for the last reviewer in that respect. Been down that road myself in the past. The offerings in Soma are not inexpensive, but at least the quality is there both in product and staff. Thnak you for a very pleasant experience. read more

Sadly these bras are made cheaply and do not last. Save your money. The bras come at a price premium and begin to fall apart only weeks after purchase. They are not built for more than 15 wears, which is sad. I was also measured to the wrong size when last I visited Soma.
