I travel all the way from Long Island to go to this location. I was so upset when they closed the location by me. This location is humongous. I literally spend hours in there. Before I walk in my husband always gives me the talk saying don't go in buying the entire store, which I do because they have so much to choose from. I guess it's also kind of bad that the workers know me when they see me - ahaha I guess that means I'm too much of a regular customer. Some of my favorite brands to purchase are : carters, dream on me, oogi boogie, Frida, Evolur, and fisherprice. I'm so upset that they will be closing this location in the next few weeks. Everything in the store is discounted, but I felt like I was getting a great deal even before. If you're pregnant or know someone who is, they should check this place out before they close because the strollers and cribs are on sale. read more

I much prefer online shopping but had to come here to check out items in person, pickup the registry bag, and pickup an item that was no longer available online. The staff I encountered on my visits were helpful and sometimes proactive. It is a baby superstore so there is a lot to check out like strollers. I don't recommend coming here to check out the gliders - they don't have that many in stock and they are very worn out as well as occupied by shoppers. Many Many Many Thanks to Maggie who was absolutely phenomenal!!! The store is in order everything was in check. It was a very easy feat to obtain the registry and the items that I needed. Everything was neatly displayed and everything was easy to find. I purchased an awkwardly shaped item that I knew was going to be difficult to it my eyes lit up when I saw the complimentary wrapping station. It was DIY... which is great,... BUT of my many talents do not include gift wrapping. It's was quite obvious to everyone, including Maggie who was manning the front end and took the time out to help me wrap the gifts. It's the only Buy Buy baby store in the area, and frankly THE ONLY "baby store" pretty much around now that babies r us has went out of business. I was excited to go with my good friend to check the store out and help her decide on some things for her baby girl. I couldn't believe how big the store was! We got through most of the store and had a few questions regarding items but couldn't find anyone on the floor to ask. Their prices I believe are higher then other stores like target. She actually bought some clothes there for the baby and then we went to TJ Max which is in the same building and found one of the outfits for so much cheaper so we ended up returning the outfit to Buy Buy Baby. I will say, however they have such cute outfits and pretty good prices for clearance items but I would honestly check around other stores before purchasing from here because you might be able to save a few bucks. Absolutely loved this store tonight. Came in for a stroller and left with a registry plus a stroller. Ryan was on point. He guided us through each stroller and gave us all the pros and cons of each. Super knowledgeable!! Not only that but he even pointed out we should do a registry to get the 15% completion coupon. I didn't even know about that. Great store. Great guy. This is the only baby superstore. As such, much like your little tyke, they've got you wrapped around their finger. Massive selection of strollers, carseats, monitors, feeding supplies, and clothing. If nothing else those are the reasons to come. When it come to some of the more expensive stuff we shopped around (online) and Buy Buy is extremely competitive with their pricing (even without a direct local competitor like Babies R Us used to be). We ended up buying our stroller (Baby Jogger City Select Lux Anniversary Edition) from Buy Buy and were thoroughly impressed with the amount of time and attention the staff took to explain all the features of each of the models we tested/tried. We are also frequently back looking for clothing and other supplies. Crib, furniture, and mattress we ended up using Costco.com but Buy Buy does have a nice selection and, at least, you are able see what your getting (Costco doesn't sell baby furniture in store so you are blindly ordering off their website [I trust their quality but I get why some would be wary]). We also bought our changing table pad, and crib sheets/comforter from Buy Buy. Baby gates are also competitively priced and we bought two of the four we needed (it's hard to find a 5ft long gate) here. The baby registry is incredibly easy and fun (we also used parent company Bed Bath and Beyond for our wedding registry). Speaking of Bed Bath the only issue I have with Buy Buy is... if you regularly shop at parent company Bed Bath you know they will take any of their coupons, even expires ones. However, Buy Buy will not except expired Buy Buy coupons (despite what the internet says) we have mistakenly presented expired coupons and were told they will not take them. FYI. read more

We drove all the way down to Paramus to go their store! The sales lady was kind and made a registry for us! We had a big baby shower and spent thousands of dollars there! One of the things we got was a Baby Einstein bouncer/Walker! Since the baby was newborn we did not put it together till now and it is missing the seat! We called them and they said they only cover 90 days! They referred us to Baby Einstein who does not have any kind of help! Why would we put it together if the baby is too little! Should we have told the guests at the shower not to buy the items till now! Do not buy stuff at buy buy baby they don't offer any help with problems! In fact stay away from Baby Einstein they off are no help either! They are a fly by night company! read more

This store is hugeee! I was so excited coming here for the first time. I had to return a defective crib ordered offline from my registry. It was busy but that's expected for a Saturday. I stood in line to do returns first and they did inform me that electronics cannot be returned without receipts and they take 20% off when they do. Karen assisted me with replacing my crib for something different. She was patient, helpful and very sweet. I think she's actually a manager of some sort because she doesn't usually write up orders but I would love to work with her in the future. This was my first time visiting a Buy Buy Baby and my last. I was excited walking in being that I'm pregnant with my first baby and heard good reviews about this place. I found this location to be so messy and disorganized. The stroller section was a nightmare and couldn't find the two I wanted to check out which was the city select and the bravo trio. Felt as though I was being followed throughout the whole store. One employee saw me checking out one stroller and when I dropped the snack tray after trying to snap it in... he tells me "well it looks like someone isn't ready to be a mother". You just don't say that to someone... esp a mother to be. I will never visit this store again. Babies R Us is so much better. read more

So people are haters and had a crappy customer service experience here at probably 2pm on a Saturday. Literally every retail store in Bergen County sucks on a Saturday. But the fact is BBB has the best stock, selection, and prices (when playing a good coupon game) for baby and kid stuff all in one spot. If I could give less I would. This is my second pregnancy and my first time around I registered at Babies R Us. Everyone was so friendly and super helpful. Returns were easily done as long as you had it on your registry. Buy buy baby- I don't even want to purchase anything else there. The remaining things I need are being purchased at target or amazon. The "15%" completion discount is such a useless discount considering everything there is so much more expensive so basically your 15% will give you the price that target and amazon are already offering. They "price match" but then you can't use any coupons which is dumb. Someone purchased a camera that was on my registry but then I found a better more affordable camera on Amazon I went to return it but they would not accept it because I had no gift receipt. They also said they could only give me anything back with the checking account or email that was used. So now what? I'm forced to call the person that purchased it and say hey I want to return your gift can I have your email or checking account!!! Can you imagine! I don't even want to mention that the manager that was giving us all this information would not even look us in the eye while she was telling the clerk what to say as if we were not standing there. That was extremely rude and the worst possible customer service in which I could ever have experienced! We purchased our car seat and stroller only because we had a gift card before we walked out and my husband said we aren't buying anything else here. I went to the store to purchase items from a registry. Out of four items, one was displayed so high a store employee had to use a tall ladder to retrieve it, one was hidden behind a bunch of strollers and one was in the back room and the box was crushed. Very frustrating that is was so difficult to find three out of four items. When I went to wrap my gifts, three out of the four wrapping stations had no paper and there was none in the store. There were very few gift boxes and those were unusable. Very disappointed by the messy appearance of the wrapping stations. This store needs to get its act together! I'm a first time pregnant lady and these places can be overwhelming. Who knew there could be 100 varieties of strollers?! When my husband and I went in to set up our registry it was a very pleasant experience. We were planning on navigating the store on our own but said that the stroller/car seat area may be the one section we need some assistance with. We were directed to Omar. Let's just say Omar should have his own tv show - he's the most entertaining person ever. He's also super super knowledgeable about car seats and strollers. We spent almost 3 hours with him in that one section of the store. So be prepared for a thorough education. Either way, he's great. This is apparently my new hang out as I continue to create my registry and I continue to have good experiences. The register people could benefit from a smile and some customer service training and the bathrooms have needed a sprucing up each time I'm here - but as for the products and the other staff members, it's been perfect all the time. read more

I was so excited to start until her whole depressing mood at the desk struck me. They need to have happy people at that desk willing to help ! I went to Buy Buy Baby last night for the first time ever. I am a 20 something woman, and this is my first friend to have a baby, so visiting baby stores is new for me. The only baby showers I have been to were family members and I usually just gave my mother money for the gift. So I was nervous walking in to this store with my friends registry as I did not know what to expect. But as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm hello and assistance. I do not know if they are always this nice or maybe I just looked that lost! Being the planner that I am, I already had my items I wanted to purchase picked out, I just had to find them. Stephanie, the Buy Buy Baby worker, took me to the area of the store where my items were located and helped me pick out the every items pertaining to my friends registry. I was in and out of Buy Buy Baby in about 15 minutes (probably less). The store was clean, the prices were right, and the employees really made this first time experience warm, welcoming, and not as dreadful as I was envisioning. Since I was unable to find a place on their website to leave a review, I thought I would do so here. My husband and I went there yesterday, and was assisted in strollers by Sharonda. I had to write how wonderful she was. For stroller dummies like my husband and myself, she made this process seamless. She expertly advised us with strollers we did slight research on, she described how the car seats attach, the weight of the strollers and how much use we will get out of the different systems. She added a "fake baby" for weight to show a true comparison of of heavy the systems would be. I cannot commend her enough for her professionalism and personalism. She wrote down the systems for us since my mother in law is treating, but I told her I would rave about our experience because as a first time terrified mom she made something off of my list a bit easier. read more

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! Since they are owned by the same company at Bed Bath and Beyond they do the same thing with their coupons they can be expired and willl still take them! Also they send out coupons constantly in the mail for 20 percent off for $5 off your order.. They offer a huge variety of products much more bigger than Babies R Us in fact.. And the quality of the product seems a lot better as well! When I can't find things at Babies R Us I go there if I don't usually go there first. Update: After weeks of waiting and calling we finally contacted corporate through social media and they were able to help us get in touch with a store manager who finally admitted that our ottoman was lost in transit and refunded us. Huge store with many items but no one to help you in any department. Went to purchase a double stroller and not 1 employee to help answer questions or try out a stroller. I stopped 1 associate and he told me he was "overwhelmed " and would be right back. Essentially I never got ANY help and left without a stroller at 8 months pregnant. Cashiers were not professional and were smacking and blowing bubbles with their gum at customer service. Overall I drove 1 hour to get there and left spending $40 BC I felt I had to buy something BC of the drive. What a truly wonderful experience I had! I made an appointment to get help with my registry and they asked me to specify an area that I was most looking for help in. I picked strollers. I was a little concerned that our appointment would be short and not helpful, but boy was I wrong! I was greeted in the most friendly, welcoming way. Then Michael T. helped us for an hour and half! I couldn't believe it. He was knowledgeable, patient, and even took us to the basics section, even though we only expected to look at strollers - we ended up covering the whole store! What is bound to be a naturally overwhelming experience for first time parents became enjoyable and helpful and that's all thanks to Michael and the incredibly friendly staff at this store. What's amazing about this store is not just it's typical big box clean and thorough stock of baby goods, but more importantly it's customer service can't be beat. Buying here is not only like getting a warranty on every item you buy, it also means a customer service team that will leave no stone unturned to leave you happy. I bought a glider chair here, and when there were problems with the original order (the color we chose wasn't available), they jumped through hoops to find us an alternative. When the chair came with a loose part, they continued to jump through hoops to make sure it was replaced. I didn't have to complain, or stalk them endlessly - they just took care of it. Having two kids, anything that can be taken off my plate is invaluable. They've earned my loyalty! read more
