I have been a customer of Soma for years. The experience at Crocker Park this week was very underwhelming and disappointing . Not only did the associate stay on her phone when I came in the shop and while I was there, she never once offered to measure me (which they always offer to measure you for bra size), she was clearly disinterested in helping me at all. Obviously people have had different experiences than I did at this store, and maybe this associate just didn't want to be at work that day, but the customer service was abysmal. I will go to Nordstroms from now on for my intimate apparel. read more

Had a great visit with helpful staff today. Diane and Lacy were so kind and helpful we bought more than we planned on because of them!! They helped us with personal fittings and even helped us with using coupons to save so much money!! The store was beautiful and clean. Plenty of styles and sizes for everyone. I discovered Soma three years ago and haven't bought bras anywhere else since. The ladies that work at the boutiques understand that their jobs require a certain amount of forced intimacy and take their duties both seriously and with levity. They'll do a fitting for you if you want (I highly recommend it, we're almost always wrong in what we think we should wear) and if you don't want, they'll fetch what you need if you need it. The sales are always excellent and if you belong to their Passport program, you can receive up to 40% off on occasion. Sizing is for everyone, from a's up to double and triple letters. The bras aren't cheap, but they are the best quality of any I've ever experienced. It's well worth the drive to Crack...er, Crocker Park. read more

I just tried to make a return to the Crocker Park location. This the closest location to where I live, a 40 min drive, but I love their bras so I make the sacrifice. Unfortunately to my dismay, my previous trek to the store I purchased two bras that didn't fit, I realized once I got them home. If it's been awhile always get sized, ladies! I had to learn the hard way. So I finally manage time to make the journey back to the Crocker Park location to exchange my items to find the doors locked, over 3 hours before their posted closing hours. I can't turn back now I'm on a mission! I see two associates at the register inside and I managed to catch their attention enough for one to walk over after 5+ minutes only to find out the had to close due to an "emergency", I told her my situation and asked if the could manage a single transaction she consulted her co-worker and said "No." It was obvious they were ready to go but hey! what's 5 more minutes to getting off 3 hrs early? I know it's irrelevant, but I've worked retail and there we're always people walking in 5 minutes before we close but you still have to practice good costumer service to paying costumers. I'm just extremely disappointed in the Soma's employees lack of service and empathy to customer they've severely inconvenienced. They make a good bra but I'll think I'll drive the extra distance on a long trek to avoid this location. read more

I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER shop at a Soma store again in my life. Not only that, but I will make sure that none of my friends or family will shop here either. This is my second time shopping at Soma, both horrible experiences. Let's start with today's experience: I go in with my mother, both of us needing new bras. Not only did the sales associates treat us like absolute garbage (I will leave your mind to wonder as to why), but were not helpful at all. When I asked the sales associate multiple times to assist my mother, she kept saying "one moment" and then would disappear to the back, return, and then decide to help whoever else had walked in. Now, onto the second associate that was helping me: This is my second encounter with this girl running the cash register, and both times I am short changed or improperly checked out only to notice once I get home. In today's incident, I purchased $250 worth of merchandise and wanted to use the $25 off of $125 coupon. I did not notice until my return home that she used the $15 off instead after insisting that she used the right one. Now, to my first visit into Soma about a month ago: I worked with the same above cashier and a woman named Gail/Gale. Gail/Gale was completely rude, pushy, and made it clear that unless you were spending over a $100 (which I was) that she could care less about helping you. And god forbid you look at clearance or the 2 for $59 bras while Gale is working. Now to the cashier. She short changed me. I gave her $105 in cash for a purchase that was $101.75 (approximately), and I did not realize until I went to my car that I only received a quarter back. Soma is obviously a company that pushes their employees to make hasty, hurried sales while cheating their customers out of money. I will never shop here again, nor will I recommend anyone else to either. read more
