We were on the phone for 45 minutes, and in that time he asked me all about myself, my struggles with adhd symptoms, my past, and about his philosophy in therapy and medication..what type of approach he has for treatments. When I first started seeing her, I was in a bad spot, and without revealing my mental health condition, I felt like I was coming back to life, but then all the judgements came. I lost a substantial amount of weight bc she prescribed me monjauro, yes you heard it folks! When the drug was doing its job, she constantly asked me about what I was eating, blaming me and making me feel guilty for losing the weight bc that's what it does. She preyed upon my overall vulnerable state. There were sooo many red flags that I ignored. It was as if I was in a police state and I had to depend on her guidance. She never smiled, was overall intimidating and scary. She overcharges obviously, but coming from a family with means it wasn't a big deal until she started asking me about my income and when I confronted her she gave me some bullshit answer. So I wouldn't have to pay $800, yes $800 folks, I fired her explaining why in a brief text and her response was "okay." I know like can be tough and it's so hard finding care, but you will be more messed up after her.
