If it weren't for her I would have never known anything. She called or e-mailed back same day or next day with complete color coded information and bold to highlight the most important items. All the way up to the big day, they would always respond to emails within mins, they always had insightful answers to any questions I had in the lead up. The day couldn't have gone better. They made sure that our expectations were exceeded and that we would cherish every moment forever. They were both very kind and warm hearted and treated us with such respect and kindness. They assured me that everything would be taken care of and we simply show up, and they were right. They had everything perfectly put together and eased on minds on any concerns we may have had such as rain. As there was rain in the forecast, they moved everything around to make sure we beat the rain, and we did. The spot on the location couldn't have been better, they made sure it was secluded for me and my wife and our small family that attended as it was during COVID. Everything from the start was perfect. Communication was top notch and then the big day was marvelous, the words for the officiating was wonderfully said and the photographs taken by Heather were beautiful and hang on our wall proudly. Leyanis was able to give each woman exactly what she was imagining, both in terms of hair and makeup. She put awesome finger-waves in my hair, and they stayed put all night. The makeup did, too, despite me crying every five minutes and hugging and kissing everyone I could get my hands on. So she's basically a magician. And her team was a real pleasure to work with, too! I met Melissa through my wedding planner, Shelby Weir. Shelby recommended her because of her incredibly generous prices. When I was given her contact information, I had already picked out a lot of things off typical sites, Amazon, etc., for the tablescapes and decor. I just happened to be looking at her website and various social media accounts when I noticed she did tablescapes. At the time I was feeling overwhelmed by the tables so I wanted to inquire about her prices and a few other things. I was able to text her photographs of what I'd gotten as well as my dream aesthetic and she said if I came into her office she'd work with me on pricing and that we could discuss the wedding. I'm so glad I did that because she did in fact end up being cheaper than Amazon and other sites and was such a huge source of support! When I walked into her office with my now husband and mom, it was less than a month before the wedding. At that stage of my wedding, I was two things. A lost puppy and a neurotic wreck. I honestly thought that table settings and chairs would be the easiest part of the wedding. Well I was wrong. No one tells you that table layouts are incredibly difficult, that everyone will have a different opinion on table layouts, that your tablecloth size is very important, that it's hard to coordinate the color scheme, that you have to do a bunch of research because there are SO many options, and just so many other things. Just to give you an idea as to how clueless I was about all this, I didn't know what a charger plate was when we started all this. When I was told I needed chargers by my wedding planner I thought she meant we should have cell phone chargers available for people at the wedding. Well, when we walked into her office, Melissa took charge in a way that I really needed her to. She immediately helped me with my table layout. Made the diagram right then and there. I brought a tablescape mockup, and she improved it within ten minutes. She was very sweet, professional, patient and honest about what needed improvement I have posted photos here, buy my Instagram account, inthe239butstillfine, also shows the post that I made right before my honeymoon. I was thinking of her in the airport right before we took off and had to post about the amazing job she did before we left. She was a source of support that I truly was not expecting. She came to my rehearsal so she could see everything and meet everyone, including my planner and my uncle who was the florist. My uncle is very particular about his work and I was a bit concerned that he'd get a little offended that I wanted someone else to help decorate, but she reassured me that she'd respect his space as a decorator and still stayed to help! She got there early in the morning and stayed until the late afternoon and then came back to pick everything up. I also have to say, my family had an absolute blast with her! My mom and uncle really enjoyed working with her and my uncle in New York that was the florist actually told me he hopes to work with her in the future. She is incredibly quick to respond to texts and emails and if you don't have the time to respond she will also reach out to whoever you need to to coordinate things! She is efficient, organized, and flexible. My wedding looked beautiful thanks to Melissa. Her chairs are incredibly clean, tablecloths are absolutely gorgeous, and we used a beautiful farmhouse table of hers that really pulled the aesthetic that I wanted together. Her and her husband are an amazing team. They arrived on time and removed all equipment on time. No complaints from the venue (who was a very particular venue) whatsoever. Thank you so much, Melissa!
