Within the first two months, she pulled the workers off my project to work on another (more expensive) client's renovation, which delayed mine by three months. At the end of the renovation, she attempted to add a fee to the general contractor's bill (her fee disguised as his) with the hope of getting more money. Attempting to pad your colleague's bill is shady and makes me question her character! Nancy has poor project management and communication skills. She didn't order enough hardware for our cabinets or light fixtures which added to the delay. The most irritating thing is that she did not communicate with the general contractor (who is a superb craftsman and visionary!) and didn't pay attention to what he was doing. For example, when the island was installed she wanted it taken apart and repainted because she didn't like the color. She should have worked alongside the contractor and known about such details before items left the shop rather than have a cow after the fact. By that point, I didn't care about the color of the island and left it as is because the renovation was so far behind schedule that it didn't make sense to redo the work and drag out the project even longer. Overall, it was beyond frustrating to work with her. You can do better for $75/hour.

So, I drove to the shop and asked for Joslyn and was told she was out and once again giving my contact information and told her what I was looking for. Surprise! I received no response, so I sent another e-mail and left another phone message and once again received no response. It must be nice that in these times when so many businesses are struggling this company does not want new business. I could not recommend this company as they do not understand that customers and potential customers are looking for effective communication and Jocylyn may be a great landscape designer, but she stinks are customer communication.

I paid $25 and she gave me a 10 minute "palm reading" (if that's what you want to call it). She didn't touch on any of my lines or go in to depth about anything. Ten minutes zoomed by and I was barely given a chance to talk- anytime I had a question she'd interrupt me with things that could be relevant and generic to anyone's lives and also told me things that didn't even match up with mine. I went in with a very open mind because I'm that type of person. My friend and I aren't new to this type of work because we do it ourselves and have our own gifts so I just new she was feeding me a bunch of bullshit. I left super unhappy and more confused than when I went in but was still hopeful.... until my friend went in. 1-2 months later... I drive my friend to Rose's Boutique in Kalispell so she could have a reading. We get to the door n knock, Rose came to the door and my friend asked for the reading. Rose looked at me, my friend and my friends little sister and got annoyed. She said me and my friends little sister couldn't be there because this was her home/business (understandable) and told her to come back. My friend went back and Rose yelled out the door and said it will only take 10 minutes (before I was told that it can take anywhere from 10-60 minutes and it just depends on what's coming through to her for my friend). Also mind you, Rose didn't even know what my friend wanted from her or what kind of reading she wanted. So My friend goes in for a quick 10 minutes. The more we talk the more we find out that Rose told her almost EXACTLY what she told me. My friend said Rose was very pushy and she too felt rushed and wasn't able to relax or ask her any questions. Super annoyed that I wasted 25$ at this shop but also glad that atleast now I know to never go back.

We started off with the Alaskan Halibut Corndog, its more of a cooked more inside, and I kid you not I wish I ordered another of these it was so good! We also had the  Bunuelo which is shaped to mimic a pretzel that was filled with a glorious goat cheese mousse and kraut powder and a little jalapeno relish I have never in my life tasted anything like it, it was sensational. If you see this on the menu immediately order it. Next up was the Dungeness Crab Cake there is something to be said about a beautiful rendition of this dish with its flaky generous portions of crab, thoroughly enjoyed. The Grilled Korean Short Rib was an absolute favorite of mine as well, there is no way you cold get enough of it. For the mains we had the Pan Seared Duck Breast 4/5 came with the most beautiful cherry mole and corn succotash that was just exception, the balance on this speaks to the chefs talent. Now the issue here was actually the duck, one side of the breast just seemed very over and chewy while the other was perfect which is a shame but I am glad to have tried it. My kid thoroughly enjoyed Lamb Ragu with gnocchi and I honestly couldn't agree more and how well made the gnocchi was, pillow soft and utterly flavorful. But the real star of the night was Wagyu with tallow fried tater tot, chimichurri and brown butter carrots I would say though this dish commands a price, it was absolutely worth it, done exactly as ordered and every bite of each component was heavenly. For dessert we had the Cornbread dessert with miso caramel and burnt honey ice cream and it blew my mind, I am not a honey person but there's also a sense of trust you gain while eating that the kitchen knows best so dive in head first and it didn't disappoint we also had the Evening in Missoula Panna Cotta with rhubarb, orange blossom meringue and coconut boba the burst of flavors I kept getting and the delightful panna cotta was superb. Both the desserts were comped by the restaurant since even though we had a reservation we waited far too long of a time, it was close to 45min before we were seated because the previous customer had paid but were holding the table up. To me that's not something I can shrug off, I understand that they were full but 20min max I can excuse more than double is a hard swallow regardless of how great are host eventually was (Hi Dennis, you were awesome thank you!) and I appreciate the free deserts but overbooking might have been your issue here.
