Spoke to Sonia yesterday to book an appointment. She called me to confirm the appointment. Or ask me if I would like to give up my appointment for one of her other clients. As a business owner, I want her to have the most success so I told her to take the appointment with the other client. Fortunately, I am self-employed and able to reschedule for different time. She was grateful that I was willing to keep her business in mind as a fellow business owner. Fast forward to the next day. Appointment day... I text 40 min prior to appointment to confirm. She did not reach out to me, i reached out to her. I arrive at the location approximately 30 minutes prior to appointment, to look for parking, because this business is located in a very non-desirable location for parking. Finally found parking. Walk upstairs 10 minutes prior to the appointment. Waited out front, and texted like instruction said to do. After waiting for approximately 20 minutes past appointment time, I was able to finally get a response from her stating she was not going to make our appointment. She said that due to my lack of deposit, she would not be showing up to her business to provide the massage. She said she will refer me to other businesses if I don't like giving deposits. No ma'am. I do not like giving deposits for services I have not received. I don't pay before I eat at a restaurant. Or pay my barber... prior to getting a haircut! She was simply rude and not professional. I went for a 90-minute swedish massage. I'm not one that likes too firm of a massage. So the swedish massage with light to moderate pressure worked perfectly for me. She was very verbal and asks if you hurt or not and adjusts accordingly to your likes. My shoulders and feet feel like clouds after an hour with her... I can only imagine a longer session. She has an assortment of sented oils and let's you fully aware of the process. You do have to undress fully for this one. She's very thorough on those knots.
