Please excuse the tardiness in my writing this review but I would be remissed if I didn't take this opportunity to tell you about one of the most amazing realtors I had the pleasure of working with. Sonia Perez is an unparalleled professional, remarkably knowledgeable, supremely diligent and always makes time to response to any questions or concerns I had. One of the things I loved about Sonia is she didn't just settle on the first house I was smitten with. She made sure that we found the best fit for our family. If there was a home we were batting for she did her homework. She made sure the house did not conceal any dubious surprises or snags. Each home we looked at was close to perfection or slightly less than perfect. The less than perfect homes had questionable concerns and Sonia went to extraordinary lengths to ensure we were still getting a good quality home. For instance, if there were visible foundation issues she did her research and made sure there weren't any underlining issues that would haunt us in the future. If there were, she was honest in either confirming the issues were resolved or if they were unresolved and we would make our informed decision based on her information. She was always constantly observant of the integrity of each home she showed us. Don't get me started on her vast knowledge. She spoke like a vehicle mechanic discussing how each component of a car works. She didn't just try and sell us on the beauty of the home; she knew the ins and outs of each house that I would have never thought. This was instrumental for us in determining if something was going to work for us or not. Her personality is remarkable, always with a friendly, pleasant demeanor. She always has a smile on her face and never once gave me an impression that she did not absolutely love what she did. She was very timely in responses whenever we inquired. So if you call or message her regardless of how, she'll get back to you stat. She was constantly punctual to all our meetings and always had her ducks in a row. She was also our advocate when time called for it. She made buying a home easier than I expected. I just recently overheard a coworker complaining about his realtor and the guy he's working with sounds like a nightmare. Unfortunately, he is almost complete with the sale so all I could do is recommend Sonia if it doesn't work out. After hearing his story I couldn't help but think "Boy did we luck out with Sonia!". We were 210% happy with her. Sonia is amazing and she helped us find our forever home and for that I am eternally grateful. So do I recommend her? Absolutely! We met Sonia when we first moved to San Antonio and were looking for a rental property. She happened to be in the area (she left the gym to come meet us) where her friend was renting the home, and showed the place to us. She was really friendly and very personable. She gave me her card so I decided to hold onto it for when we decided to purchase a home. We also referred Sonia to a few friends and she helped them find rental properties. A year later we contacted Sonia to help us in our home search. Sonia was so good at making sure we found the right house, and notices things I didnt, like houses missing blinds, noisy areas, and bad traffic areas. She was also very good at negotiating (we considered buying a new home that didnt have any grass! She was negotiating having the landscaping done for free.). Overall we picked a home that was a short sale property in the Grandview Heights subdivision. We initially didn't have any issues with the sale but then the banks backed out. Sonia kept us calm and positive (but cautious). She continued to show us houses while fighting the banks to move forward. A month and a half later we closed on our house and we couldnt be happier! It was a very long and hard process but Sonia kept us grounded and gave us updates daily which I really appreciated. I cannot say good enough things about Sonia. Wow! Where to begin? SONIA WAS AMAZING!! This was our first home buying experience and let me tell you.. we were so worried and had heard so many awful things about the entire process.. and then we met Sonia Perez! From our very first meeting at Bill Millers in little ol' La Vernia, TX to our closing in San Antonio.. we knew we were in good hands. Sonia was impressive from sales pitch to closing on the house. We contacted several real estate agents but Sonia's presentation was clear, professional and reassuring that she was there to help. We wanted to sell our parents' house as they'd moved to a nursing home. But my brothers live out of town and I work full time and had little time. I was able to go through my parents' possessions but little else. But Sonia was there to help in so many ways. She put us in touch with and managed painting and flooring and landscape experts who did great work at reasonable cost to prepare the house. She also found people to take an organ for a church, a bedroom set for a young girl, living room furniture for a family fixing up a house, and even someone to haul all the rest away. I rarely write reviews, but I must take the time to recommend and thank Sonia for the professional, expert, thorough and complete job she did selling our house. For personal reasons we needed to suddenly sell our house and move to another city. I saw Sonia's great reviews and decided after her first visit to give her a try. She far exceeded all expectations.
