In a pinch I reached out to several real estate markets online and via phone. I was not able to get anyone to return my calls or message me right away. Thats where CLARISSA FENLON from Caldwell Banker D'Ann Harper, Realtors came into the picture and made my life ten times easier! She called me for an introduction. We discussed what we where looking for in a house. The time frame we where working with and it's like she pulled a rabbit out of a magical hat. She was highly responsive and her follow through is not to be ignored (it was amazing) She was easy to communicate with being I was still working and could not spend much time on the phone making arrangements. So she put a plan in motion via text messaging to meet up on a Saturday. Let me say that she had a goal in mind, which was not to waste our time and she succeeded! She planned our day looking at houses with much consideration to our needs. All you have to do is tell her what your looking for in a house and she prevails. She had 7-10 houses for us to look at and one after the other they where progressively better and better! Working with Clarissa exceeded our expectations. She was well prepared and a great attitude. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again!

    ****RENTERS, THINK TWICE***…read more I do realize this is the real estate group, but Harper Property Management is still a reflection of your division as well. Mediocrity. Very strict policies on renters. They will invade your home multiple times per year and nitpick insignificant things. You'll get an email demanding you change the air filter or clean the stove and to provide photographic proof of completion. If you have pets, you will need to provide a carpet cleaning receipt and a pest control receipt for flea treatment, regardless of whether you clean the carpet yourself or if you have fleas. This will cost you at least $250-$300 because they only accept receipts from specific companies. We spent DAYS cleaning up the place upon move out and replacing bulbs and making sure everything was picture perfect in an attempt to get the full deposit back. Harper kept over $200 of our deposit claiming the air filter wasn't changed the 3 bulbs had to be changed in the garage. There weren't even 3 lights IN the garage. The filter was 2 weeks old so I can understand, but they charged us $38 to change it. Imma let it go because I'm not petty, but expect to lose money if you are renting with them. I give them 1 of the stars because they did promptly send repairmen out when we had any issues. The 2nd star is because if i'm being honest I would likely feel comfortable hiring them to manage a property I own because at least I know they are thorough.

They found a tenant for me who turned out to be my only tenant until 2019. Birdy handled everything in an exceptional professional manner. They leveraged technology to make the distance between me and my property irrelevant. I also appreciated the work provided by the maintenance team over the years. On top of that, they also sold my property this year! I highly recommend Birdy Properties.

After moving out, I was charged against my $1,695 security deposit and an additional $800 on top of that for several items they claimed were "excessive," despite leaving the home in good condition and documenting everything with photos and videos. The biggest issue was the carpet. I followed their move out instructions exactly and scheduled their preferred carpet cleaning vendor two weeks in advance for the last day of my lease. When the technician arrived, he refused to clean the carpet, saying it was "too excessive." I immediately hired another professional carpet cleaning company that same day, paid for the service, and provided Birdy Properties with the invoice. Even after complying with my lease requirements, they still charged me a $500 carpet replacement fee. I was also charged for pest control because they claimed there was a wasp nest near the roof and animal feces in the yard. I have video of the property's exterior before turning it over, and I could not find a visible wasp nest. I also do not own any animals, and my videos do not show animal feces on the property. What concerns me even more is that, to the best of my understanding, Greg Birdy is both the owner of the home I rented and the owner of Birdy Properties. That means the property management company making these determinations also appears to have a direct financial interest in many of the charges being assessed. As a tenant, that raises concerns about the fairness and objectivity of the move out process. To make matters even more stressful, I was given only 10 days to pay the disputed charges while preparing for official military obligations. I am formally disputing these charges because I do not believe they accurately reflect the condition in which I left the property or the efforts I made to comply with my lease. I have rented from multiple property management companies over the years and have never had an experience like this. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Birdy Properties

This was Sunday night, July 6th around 6pm. My wife, kids, and I were excited, celebrating this "would have been wonderful" purchase and new chapter in our life. We went to sleep that night. Monday, we went to work as normal expecting to fill out all paperwork in the evening as soon as we got home. But our realtor texted me to rush paperwork over to Renee by 6pm. So we are filling out paperwork and by 5:30pm, less than 24hrs of our verbal agreement, she texts our realtor and tells him that they have decided to go with another buyer! What about our verbal? Reason: because the seller got nervous because they had not received our official offer. We got the paperwork back to her before 6pm. But she refused to accept the offer. After some discussion with our realtor, she decided to "submit" our offer. Less than 24hrs, we went from excited and elated to sad, frustrated, confused, and angry. We were told both offers were comparable, but we were not asked to counteroffer. I am still confused. It doesn't make sense that we were not even asked if we wanted to increase our offer. It was just a done deal. The seller made their decision. And now what we thought would have been our forever home belongs to someone else.

When we met Danny, we took a weekend trip to Texas. We wanted to meet our new realtor and visit some houses in San Antonio and the surrounding area, and we realized during this weekend to Texas we would need more time to find just the right home. The weekend we spent with Danny was a fun time getting to learn about him, and he learned about us so that we knew we were on the right track to find the right home. We needed to find a place to stay quickly once we move to Texas and during the weekend visit luck was on our side, Danny has a fully furnished Airbnb that we decided to rent while we search for our new home. Once we moved to Texas, we rented the Airbnb. We did find a house quickly (thanks to Danny listening to what we were looking for in a home) and we rented the Airbnb for four months while our new home was in the process of completion. Danny is very knowledgeable, professional and listens to his clients. During the closing process, Danny made sure we felt at ease during this process and took all our many questions and all were answered in detail. Danny was with us every step of the way. We cannot express the thanks to Danny Charbel for being the person he is, he made us feel very comfortable in finding a home. On a side note, Danny has great contacts with different trades, that is how we have great plantation shutters, electrician, painters, etc. This is also a great feature with a realtor that has many great connections for his clients.

When I issued our 30 day notice, they let me know that they had a property coming available on September 11. We decided to rent this property because they had been great to us for 4 years. This new property is DISGUSTING! The people who lived here before us were filthy pigs. The management company clearly didn't do their job when it came to getting people in to clean it even though they said it was supposedly cleaned the same day! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! If you enjoy being disrespected, this is the company for YOU! I've rented two different houses from this company over the course of 8 years, it's just completely gone down hill! I've never been treated so poorly, as I have by JASMINE! She will disrespect you any chance she's given. They'll forget to have you sign a new lease, and then they'll obligate you to sign a year long lease, even though it was never discussed. They'll refuse to replace your ac/heater for 4 YEARS, leaving it to break down every time it gets hot or cold. They'll simply band aid anything that needs to be truly fixed. I've just never been spoken too the way I have by Jasmine. She's disrespected me for the last time. I cannot wait to be out of this house FOREVER! We're buying a new house and never looking back! But please, don't do business with this company! There's SO MANY OTHER GOOD COMPANIES out there! Do business with the good guys instead! The biggest mistake I ever made was resigning a new lease on a different house with this company. Should've chosen a different one.
