I am convinced that people are okay with not reading and comprehending tasks in everyday life. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with no mayonnaise and added bacon. When they provided my order the first time, lo and behold, it had mayonnaise and no bacon. I politely informed them that it wasn't what I ordered and she took the sandwich back to "prepare" my original order. Several minutes pass and the line builds up behind me, but I am calm. She then hands me my order and I begin to pull off. Something told me to check the bag. The sandwich did not have mayonnaise and they did add the bacon, but they added cheese? If I didn't want mayonnaise, what makes you think that I want cheese? It wasn't evident that they aren't even reading the actual orders being placed. After that, I just went home because it had already been a long day. It is asked that employees take the time to actually read the orders and prepare them as requested. i don't understand how this Sonic is so bad EVERY TIME. my husband likes to stop for a drink after work but if it's not the one on Glacier Drive i usually opt out but i keep trying to give them benefit of the doubt but IDK WHY my pregnancy cravings get the best of me but every time the drink has barely any ice (i even asked for extra ice this time), and the soda has no carbonation or very little. one time i even had huge ice cubes like the ones that your freezer makes. 0/10 wish i could give 0 stars read more

I went to Sonic and ordered a Bacon double cheeseburger. I told them I just wanted the burger, no meal. She said ok do you want ff or tater tots. I again said just the burger please. She said ok I removed the meal it will be out shortly. I received my order, paid $8.52 and came home, got my pajamas on, fed my animals and sat down to eat. The burger was wrong and they had on the receipt to hold the mayo, which I never said. I called them and spoke to a kid who didn't know what was supposed to be on the burger so a woman came on, she sounded about 18-19. I told her I didn't get what I ordered and I requested a ticket for the amount I paid compared to what I actually received. She told me to bring it back. I told her I was in my pj's, it was almost 9 pm and I couldn't come back. She said there's nothing she could do. I asked for the Managers name so I could call tomorrow and she said she was theanager. I asked her name and she refused to give it. Everyone ages mistakes but her attitude was unacceptable. There were two cars there when I placed my order, two cars. One female employee was hanging through the window of a car with a male inside, the other was visiting with a man at the outside tables. We went there on a road trip when we had the need for a chilli dog and I don't remember what else we got. Do to nearby traffic they were unable to understand us so someone came out and took our order, so this was a nice change from the normal experience. While I try not to visit fast food places often, going there was quite nice and different than all the other places we visited at the road trip. Not sure if we will be back at this location as the drive is a little far and we already visited everything in that area. But there are plenty of other Sonic's that can be visited. read more

Don't order from them if you are using Door Dash. You will get cold old food and when you call to complain about it they refuse to help, they just tell you to go to door dash's app. When I did that door dash offered 83 cents. I talked to the manager at Sonic and he basically said it was not his problem. He stated that they couldn't do anything because they didn't know how long it took door dash to deliver but anyone who uses door dash knows that you can track them from the time they get to the restaurant to the time they deliver. Sonic is using door dash to get rid of their old food. Beware they don't care and will not doing anything at all for their bad orders!! read more

This Sonic has very good service, particularly the drive-through. They have the standard menu. The items I especially like are the tater tots (available as a side for any meal), the foot-long coney dog, and the Brownie Blast. They advertise half price if you order online unfortunately they're online does not work I had to buy a gift certificate or a prepaid card or something it also did not work I went four times to Sonic to get the problem corrected while there I had to order not online and three times did not got my order right I don't know about all Sonics but the one in Alamogordo is not great read more

HORRIBLE! We have given them two tries to get out order right and this place has failed both times. Burgers were wrong, extras paid for were not put on, the burgers were COLD and had to be reheated before eating (so cold the cheese didn't melt at all). The cherry limeades had neither cherries or lime flavoring added and they were so slow filling our order that we wondered if they had to drive to another place to get the food & bring it back. Typical fast food place. Some items are good, some not so. Had a good chicken sandwitch, but like McDonald's, to get a good one they are not cheap anymore. Had one of their "themed" hot dogs once. Pretty good, but not hot damn it! Bun was cold so tell them you want your hot dog, hot. read more

Hands down the worst Sonic in town as far as customer service. I sat in the drive-thru for 45 minutes for a hotdog and a chicken sandwich. There was no one in the stalls, maybe 3 people in the drive-thru with me, and 2 people working. The hotdog was cold by the time I got it because it just sat while the employees were preoccupied with other, less important things. The last few time I have gone to sonic drive-in on the North end of Alamogordo,NM(by the mall) they have not given me the right change back and mess my order up almost every time. One of the two or three worst Sonics I've ever been to in the US. Somehow all of the employees are "new," and make the ordering process take 5 times longer than it should, and not once has my order been completely correct. It's kind of nice that they apologize for it, but come on how hard is it to listen to someone talking instead of interrupting them when they're trying to say exactly what you're asking. Not being willing to give extra condiments too was just ridiculous. The only redeeming quality could have been the food itself, however; it's pretty terrible and I love Sonic Drive-Ins. (Sonic by home depot) Fucking terrible. Went here with my friend spent $20 just to wait 15 minutes no joke being the only ones in the drive thru. Not the first time either that they gave us old fries that were obviously sitting for hours because they were stale as heck.
