I went to this location specifically for a STRAWBERRY Milkshake for my Son. The first mistake was that I didn't check their rating. The customer service at the drive thru window was lackluster and then I tasted the distinctive flavor of Peanut Butter in his Shake; keep in mind, my Son had already taken several sips... his throat began to close up as he has a NUT ALLERGY!! I called the store and it took 15 minutes and several calls to get through. When I finally got someone on the line, she (the store manager) stated that I should've informed them that someone had a food allergy. Really?!?! I would think that if I ordered a STRAWBERRY Milkshake, I shouldn't have to note that I do not want any other flavors CROSS CONTAMINATING my order!! The drinks and food are good, but expect to wait 45 minutes in the drive thru. Make sure you have a mental health break before going, because you're going to lose it while waiting. Decided to come here with the family and enjoy some ice cream and drinks. We are the only family sitting in the outside patio and our orders were pretty simple. During our visit the attention was focused on the drive through, so it took over an hour to receive our items since we were on the patio. It's almost like they forgot we were here. The shakes are good but I'm not sure they are good enough to endure the worst service imaginable. Placed my order of 1 cone and 1 medium shake, at 9:10 pm. At 9:40 pm they bright the wrong order. At 10, they close at 10, I asked where my order was and was told I'm next. They served two more cars and finally brought my order at 10:10. The cone was less than 2" high, last time it was 4". I'm not sure what's happening at this location . Came here some time ago and they messed up an order , they refunded and I was on my way . A year later , we come back on a day when there was 4 cars in the parking lot , 2 in the drive thru . Ordered some food , and waited 30 Minutes . The guy came out and apologized about the wait , my order was missing items ( the lady over the intercom had me repeat myself about 4 times ) so to have items missing from the order was beyond me , we got home tried our shakes , and they have no flavor ... I've never had to say that I wanted to add salt to shake before but this really needed it . And not just the shakes , the actual food was not seasoned at all . Dont use the stalls by the drive thru window you can order your food and no one will pay attention unless you go up and complain. This happened based on my experience and as we were leaving it was happening to someone else. We were told "sorry that's how the slushes are coming out right now." Asked for a refund and was told that we couldn't be refunded because it was a mobile order, and to call sonic customer service for the refund. We left and called customer service for our refund. Then customer service made me go back into the store to return the melted drinks in order to get the refund. Luckily we were only a few minutes away from the store. She covered up her name tag with a burgundy PINK jacket so I cant give her the review she deserves. He opened the lid in the car we noticed that there was no color to the drink, assuming the flavor and the color came hand in hand we thought that maybe they forgot! Silly right??? When we got Home we decided to pour it in a cup to find that everything was at the bottom of the cup.... Sonic is one of those fast food restaurants where you know you're eating fast food but then you think to yourself is it really fast food..? Truly delicious burgers and best of all some of the best desserts and drinks you can get. Pros - Menu is great. Variety of food items from burgers to chicken fingers to hot dogs. - Drinks are ridiculously good here. Oceanwater is a must to order which is basically sprite with some sort of blue coconut syrup. - The sides are really good. I suggest these 3 100%. Jalapeño poppers, Mozzarella Sticks, and Tater tots. - Desserts.. don't even get me started on how good the shakes and other dessert items are.. - Prices are great. Affordable and a value menu that's pretty good but can be bigger Cons - Ordering system machines are a bit old and wacky. Have trouble all the time and sometimes takes a bit to order - It can take some time to get your order especially if it's busy. They could use an extra employee every time I go. My child received a coupon for Sonics for a job well done in academics. We drove to Sonic and waited patiently in line while ordering a few other drinks. When we pulled up to the window I presented the coupon, which is why we went in the first place, and I was informed the coupon was no good. When I asked why I was told by the drive thru clerk, per the manager the coupon is expired as of 2010. I double checked the coupon and there is no expiration date listed. There is a Trade Mark (TM) of 2010. I pointed this out and they asked when she received the coupon. I explained she received it that day from her teacher. Needless to say we paid for the Ice Cream she was awarded. I checked the website for the program and there is no mention of expiration, I called the corporate office and they didn't understand why it could be redeemed. My child received another coupon recently and I had to inform the school that this Sonic location will not honor the coupon because it is "expired." She stepped right on in and helped out with getting our order to us. She walked the outside perimeter to make sure everything was in order. The food was very good and fresh.
