Save your time and your money! Do no come here! I couldn't place an order at 9:00pm because they were "closed" yet google, maps, Yelp and the Sonic website list this location closes at 10:00pm. I waited about 15 minutes in my lane and was told they were no longer taking orders and cut me off before saying anything. Not to mention they also had a line at the drive thru and turned them down. Based on the reviews this locations tends to do this often. They need a new team to run this store pronto! PS - if craving something sweet head out to the McDonald down street! The drinks and food are good, but expect to wait 45 minutes in the drive thru. Make sure you have a mental health break before going, because you're going to lose it while waiting. They have difficulty taking your order, and just toss out their mistakes. How this place makes money is beyond me. read more

I'm not sure what's happening at this location . Came here some time ago and they messed up an order , they refunded and I was on my way . A year later , we come back on a day when there was 4 cars in the parking lot , 2 in the drive thru . Ordered some food , and waited 30 Minutes . The guy came out and apologized about the wait , my order was missing items ( the lady over the intercom had me repeat myself about 4 times ) so to have items missing from the order was beyond me , we got home tried our shakes , and they have no flavor ... I've never had to say that I wanted to add salt to shake before but this really needed it . And not just the shakes , the actual food was not seasoned at all . I just don't know how you have customers wait for a 30 minutes , miss items in an order that I repeated 4 times , and still give us unseasoned food . Dont use the stalls by the drive thru window you can order your food and no one will pay attention unless you go up and complain. This happened based on my experience and as we were leaving it was happening to someone else. When I went up to the door a shorter girl with red hair pretty much told me "Theres a line ya know" and went back inside when she came back out I asked for the manager who came out shocked asking where we were parked and asking why we havent received our food. read more

Decided to come here with the family and enjoy some ice cream and drinks. We are the only family sitting in the outside patio and our orders were pretty simple. During our visit the attention was focused on the drive through, so it took over an hour to receive our items since we were on the patio. It's almost like they forgot we were here. The shakes are good but I'm not sure they are good enough to endure the worst service imaginable. Placed my order of 1 cone and 1 medium shake, at 9:10 pm. At 9:40 pm they bright the wrong order. At 10, they close at 10, I asked where my order was and was told I'm next. They served two more cars and finally brought my order at 10:10. The cone was less than 2" high, last time it was 4". The best part of my lunch is when I threw it in the trash. If I could give zero stars I would. The quantity and quality of food sucked, and the service was horrible! My husband waited almost an hour for our food and was told the cook was slow, only to find out everything was cold and burnt. There were a total of 4 onion rings in my order, and they tasted like burnt pancakes and they were cold. The chicken slinger is a joke! Mobile ordered 3 drinks. Waited almost 40 minutes. When we received our drinks the slushes were completely melted. Walked up and asked for the drinks to be remade. We were told "sorry that's how the slushes are coming out right now." Asked for a refund and was told that we couldn't be refunded because it was a mobile order, and to call sonic customer service for the refund. We left and called customer service for our refund. Then customer service made me go back into the store to return the melted drinks in order to get the refund. Luckily we were only a few minutes away from the store. This sonic use to be so much better than it is now, but seems like the management just does not care about speed of service or customer service. It would be faster to drive all up he way over to the Victorville location than to sit and wait in the he Apple Valley location. read more

CHECK YOUR BAGS. I will personally never come back to this Sonic ever again. Every word that came out of the cashiers mouth was an argument. She covered up her name tag with a burgundy PINK jacket so I cant give her the review she deserves. My husband tells her what's missing from the bag and she argued back and forth with him until he took everything out of the bag and showed her there was quite a few things missing. I picked up my cup to drink it and it was leaking all over me so I asked her for another cup and she argued with me about the hole in the cup while my drink is leaking all over my hands and the floor. I really cant believe I have to make a Crappy review.... This is the second time we have came to this location in about a week and a half.... And this is the second time that we have had a drink made with little effort. Now we had bought a green apple jolly rancher slushy.... When my boyfriend tried it he said it didnt really taste like anything, KEEP in mind when he finally decided to take a sip we were half way home and thats only 10 mins away.... Anyways.... He opened the lid in the car we noticed that there was no color to the drink, assuming the flavor and the color came hand in hand we thought that maybe they forgot! Silly right??? I mean how do u forget??? Right??? So giving them the benefit of the doubt I had my bf stir his straw more and he could taste it more. When we got Home we decided to pour it in a cup to find that everything was at the bottom of the cup.... Sonic is one of those fast food restaurants where you know you're eating fast food but then you think to yourself is it really fast food..? Truly delicious burgers and best of all some of the best desserts and drinks you can get. Pros - Menu is great. Variety of food items from burgers to chicken fingers to hot dogs. - Drinks are ridiculously good here. Oceanwater is a must to order which is basically sprite with some sort of blue coconut syrup. - The sides are really good. I suggest these 3 100%. Jalapeño poppers, Mozzarella Sticks, and Tater tots. - Desserts.. don't even get me started on how good the shakes and other dessert items are.. - Prices are great. Affordable and a value menu that's pretty good but can be bigger Cons - Ordering system machines are a bit old and wacky. Have trouble all the time and sometimes takes a bit to order - It can take some time to get your order especially if it's busy. They could use an extra employee every time I go. Other than that, Sonic is my go to place on the way back home from Vegas due to the delicious burgers, sides, drinks, and desserts. read more

I think some retraining and probably new management is in order. They lose mobile orders and then try to say you went to the wrong location. The problem with that is that the screen said someone was bringing my order but they never did. This has happened to us so many times that I'm not sure why we kept returning. But we're done now. My child received a coupon for Sonics for a job well done in academics. We drove to Sonic and waited patiently in line while ordering a few other drinks. When we pulled up to the window I presented the coupon, which is why we went in the first place, and I was informed the coupon was no good. When I asked why I was told by the drive thru clerk, per the manager the coupon is expired as of 2010. I double checked the coupon and there is no expiration date listed. There is a Trade Mark (TM) of 2010. I pointed this out and they asked when she received the coupon. I explained she received it that day from her teacher. Needless to say we paid for the Ice Cream she was awarded. I checked the website for the program and there is no mention of expiration, I called the corporate office and they didn't understand why it could be redeemed. My child received another coupon recently and I had to inform the school that this Sonic location will not honor the coupon because it is "expired." To which they replied "There is no expiration date." The sundae itself is $2.99, and since there is no issue from various sources, why wouldn't the manager honor the coupon? read more

My husband and I visited Sonic on Bear Valley in Apple Valley and had a wonderful experience. The manager Sherry was awesome. Her great attitude and professionalism was greatly appreciated. She stepped right on in and helped out with getting our order to us. She walked the outside perimeter to make sure everything was in order. The food was very good and fresh.
