They closed their ice cream machines at 10pm because they close at 11pm (terrible customer service since they should be able to complete closing duties once the store CLOSES). I did not have any trouble with my order and it was to my care in less than five minutes. I tried the new mushroom burger served on a brioche bun and it was actually very good. This is a difficult location to get to as the traffic in this area is often very congested. Thankfully there is a stop light that you can use to get back and headed in your direction of travel. I was thankful when I stopped, because I was hungry and needed to stay on the road. read more

We waited approximately 25-30 minutes for 2 burgers, tots and fries. When we arrived there was only 2 other vehicles there. When we finally got our order it was the worst food I've ever received. First off, I've been to multiple Sonic locations and have always had problems with my food. It's either been sitting there awhile, stale, cold, or just not appetizing. Yesterday we went and ordered a cheeseburger and fries and to my surprise, it was fresh! I actually enjoyed my food, until... I drank my soda and was about to eat the ice. It was pretty dark in my car and I just happened to look down and seen a dark spot mixed with my ice. I turned on the light and found a dead fly in my drink! Now let me add, I finished all the soda! This killed all hope I had for Sonic. Now I'm trying to get a refund but nobody is answering the phone and when I called last night, they told us we needed the receipt. We either didn't get one or it got thrown away! Moral of the story, horrible experience and probably will never eat at Sonic again. read more

Made me wait 20 minutes to get a copy of a receipt because they charged me wrong and I needed to be sure I got reimbursed. I live right across the street from this Sonic in Calera and I stop by there every single day and I always get my order mixed up I always ask for a Route 44 drink with extra ice and I never get extra ice it always takes 10 to 15 minutes before ordering or anything like that I stopped in just recently and ask for a Route 44 root beer with extra ice Route 44 diet dr. Pepper they came out with two Iced Teas ended up taking them back we waited 15 minutes for them to redo them just to bring them back out we ask for free drinks or our money back or our money back and free drinks all they gave us was two free tickets or coupons for slushes and we don't even drink slushes although we live right across the street from this one we will be going to durant Sonic for now on I rather drive that far then to drive cross the street read more

I visit this Sonic every morning...and sometimes2 or 3 times. Sometimes my order is right out and other times it takes a little bit. Just bc you cant tell how many people/orders are in front of you (like in a drive thru) does not mean your food should be out in 3 mins or less. Everyone is super friendly - if you have ever worked in food service you will understand that sometimes things happen. If my order is EVER wrong it is fixed immediately!! I will not be there again i ordered a cookie dough ice cream. And he came out with plain vanilla. Second time he came out the just through cookie dough in the top. I could have done that at home.
