I cannot say enough good things about Jimmys Egg. I eat here 5-7 times per week for their breakfast. Food is great, service is always 5 star, food is consistent, bathrooms are immaculate, the whole restaurant atmosphere is clean and a great place to set down every day. They have consistent great employees, great management and great food. My two favorite waitresses are Brandy and Alice. They are like family. I have been eating here since they opened here in Durant. In town for some gambling and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for the breakfast buffet. Jimmy's had good reviews so we drove over and beat the church crowd. The inside is nice, clean and the staff were real friendly. There's a lot of choices so be prepared to struggle like I did. Ultimately I decided on the meat lovers omelette. My wife had the pancake combo. Pretty impressed that the food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. This was a Sunday morning too. It looked great and not a single mistake on the order. I really enjoyed my omelette. Definitely tasted like real eggs and a good flavor. Lots of meat in that omelette too. Overall a very good bargain for the price and good food. read more

We traveled 35 miles from Texas to visit this breakfast chain that we had loved in Oklahoma City many years ago. The restaurant was very clean, beautifully decorated for autumn, and we were acknowledged the second we walked in with a friendly greeting. Brandy (Brandi?) was helpful, warm, and accommodating with just the right amount of attention. Our food was fresh and attractively served. The prices have gone up a bit since our last visit (in 2010!), but the food was quite good. The waitress over charged us on top of being short with us and rude. The place was pretty busy but I'm not sure why, the food isn't good.

Food was OK, nothing great. I made the mistake of ordering a bowl of berries as a side. They were awful, previously frozen, and withered blueberries and tasteless Strawberries. The up charge was $3.50. I mentioned to the server how unsatisfactory and inedible the berries were. She just said she'd let the Cook know. This was a solid experience. So few places actually have decent customer service but we ran into three waitresses who wanted nothing more than to help us with refills and anything else we needed with two toddlers in tow. My husband was skeptical of the white queso but he ate his words and all the queso, too. Our girls stole all of his bacon. The place was clean and we will be back. I visited to a very nice, clean restaurant. I took a seat, and ordered some of their cinnamon roll pancakes. They were full of cinnamon delightfulness, and they were quite filling. We discovered this placed after checking out from Choctaw and stopping by Walmart. Everyone was hungry so after pulling a Yelp review on location, everyone liked what they saw. So we decided to check it out. We waited a few minutes after entering restaurant. The waitress who served us was very friendly and polite. We were a party of 9. She was very organized and took our order starting with one person then around the table so that ordered don't get mixed up. Kids enjoyed it. Everyone did. Five stars for perfect patty melt, Buttered and grilled rye bread, American cheese, Swiss cheese, grilled onions and a delicious beef patty in the center. I ordered french fries and gravy, I forgot to tell her brown gravy, but can't go wrong with the delicious white gravy. My family and I stayed at a local hotel/casino. On a way into town we saw a billboard for this place and decided it was close enough we would go the following day for breakfast/brunch. I had the meat lovers skillet and it was pretty good. One of my daughters had the berry berry Belgium waffle and thought it was pretty good. My wife had the "punky rooster" chicken breast sandwich, and she really enjoyed it. She also had the "naughty irishman" drink liked it a lot. My other daughter had french toast, there was a small snafu in the kitchen, but the waitress offered free french fries or toast or something while we waited for them to remake it, which was nice. Didn't take much time at all for the new french toast to come out. The restaurant was less than half full mid day on a Wednesday which was nice, we immediately sat down.
