****EVERYONE READ THIS BEFORE YOU EAT THERE***** I worked here for some days, i watched Managers/employees touch cooked food with bare hands(after touching brooms or eating) . People were eating food on the same line that they were making food. The employees were sitting down inside, playing loud obnoxious music, one employee I watched since I got to work, his pants were below his waist the entire time, i saw his boxers/shorts. He also wasn't wearing gloves and had an attitude. Ive listened to these employees talk about the people ordering food, calling them stupid. More importantly i told all this to the manager Erika, Who then cut my hours to 1 day. So, don't go here if you want fresh, safe food. She is nasty, her staff and store are nasty. read more

Horrible and rude staff. I usually go to the Sonic on Washington closer to home. This time, I went to the one on Belair, and will never go there again. Tried to order the Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito, substituting bacon for sausage. Seems like a simple substitution, but for whatever reason at this Sonic, they do it as an "add bacon" which is an extra charge. They never charge me at the other Sonic, instead taking the time to type, "substitute bacon." Now this seems like a small quibble, I mean, it's just a buck. But the inconsistency and lack of logic is upsetting. After all, the #14 is a Burrito where you have the option of bacon OR sausage, so.... In any case, this logic was too difficult, and the lady at the drive-thru proceeded to argue with me, even telling me that, "if you were a regular here, like you are at the other Sonic, then maybe we would do it as a substitution." Sonic needs to fix this, and make it an option, as not everyone likes sausage. Additionally, this store needs retraining and a new attitude! read more

The food was normal... my issue was the POOR SERVICE. I placed a order on the app and when I arrived the app wouldn't let me put in the stall number so I pushed the button and let them know I was there and my name for the order. About 20mins go by as I'm singing in the car with my kids. All I ordered was 4 slushes and a large cheddar peppers with 3 marinara so it shouldn't take that long. Needless to say when I pushed the button again I found out they managed to forget about me. When they did finally bring my order they gave me one ranch. I then asked for my marinara and they brought me one. What is one marinara going to do for a large? They were great about a year ago but now I can promise I won't be back at that location. read more

I just paid $12 for 2 cups of vanilla ice cream. I ordered a Reese's blast and a Snickers blast. BOTH of them were melted shake-like consistency with LITERALLY a few crumbs of candy pieces sprinkled on top. Not even mixed throughout. The service was horrible & we were looked at in confusion when we asked for a spoon. I mean... I did order a Sonic blast which is usually thick. Should've asked for a straw instead. read more

If you're looking to buy a great beverage, you'll love sonic. Like if your only form of sustenance is soda cocktails you might as well just live here. But if you're looking for palatable food you might want to find another place. When I go here I'm like man everything sounds good, but none of it really is. And I've given it multiple chances. It's not like I tried once and am slamming the business, it's just not that good. The chicken is rubbery, the chili they put on stuff is basically brown slop that is more befitting of a meal for pigs rather than humans. First went the roller skates, then went the quality and flavor of the food. You'll look at the menu and you'll be enticed with pictures of good looking food. Buyers beware, it's not good. I was passing through town and stopped at this location. Upon getting to the drive thru speaker I had to repeat my order 2x. After doing so, I arrive at the drive thru window, pay for my order, was not provided a receipt and was handed my milkshake and bag. The young lady was distracted going back and forth with someone else inside, they were laughing and giggling and carrying on. I sat waiting for the rest of my order. She opened the window again and asked what I was waiting for for. I said my lemonade. She said "huh". I said my lemonade. She said you didn't order a lemonade. I said I did. I said I need my receipt please. She said huh again. I said MY RECEIPT. She handed it to me, I looked at it and left. The man at the window never rung it up. Not sure what's going on in there but it was really annoying. I don't stop at Sonic very often and this was not an experience that would encourage me to do so. These folks need a refresher course on customer service. read more

Sonic won't give you gourmet food but they do offer a variety of quick-to-go snacks with fast service and reasonable prices. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order with the ingenious drive-up menu. I can sit and stare at the menu without any pressure to decide since no cars are waiting behind me. Sometimes I can't decide which shake I want and will take more time to order than to eat my food! I know I'm not the only one, you do it too I'm sure. You can always count on Sonic for a quick bite while on the go. Staff prepping hair and putting on cap. Tucking in shirt. Manager Taylor told twice the young lady needed to wash her hands. According to manager, the young lady was told, but did not comply. Purse sitting on food counter. Staff should not be trying to fix hair, put on hat, tuck in shirts in the food area. Either they need to do it in as designated place such as the bathroom. However, the employee should come to worked already dressed appropriately. Manager when spoken to the second time, turned her eyes up and turned away from me and closed the window. This shows disrepect to the customer. I was merely attempting to educate workers. This location has had many issues every time I order. Do not know how to make milkshakes. Will stop going to this Sonic or any other Sonic. They do not listen what you state on the outside speaker. read more

The bacon cheeseburger was an indulgence, and it is worth whatever I have to go through. I had a cherry lime-ade (with real lime wedges and cherries in it I discovered later) and onion rings. 3 meals ordered, and it arrived in just about 5 minutes, fresh and hot. This particular spot on Jimmy Dyess has about 2 dozen or so pull up old style car hop ordering stations, a covered patio AND a drive-through!! Very annoyed that this is the third time now that my blast was literally just a cup full of vanilla ice cream with m&ms on the top. We only keep going thinking that it's just a bad night, but clearly this Sonic has hit rock bottom. I definitely won't be spending anymore money here. Save your money and drive a little bit farther to McDonald's who at least stirs their McFlurrys, Dairy Queen, or cold stones. read more

Stopped on our way home for a treat. Ordered 2 Sonic Blasts and it was basically a cup of ice cream with about 5 pieces of candy. I don't know who was making them today or if the manager decided to cut back on candy, but if I wanted just a cup of ice cream then I would have ordered just a cup! read more

This place is so unorganized it's not even funny. They can't hear you when you order your food. Then you ask them a question and they can't give you a straight answer. Have been here several times and we are usually disappointed. My husband orders his drinks with nerds and his drink always comes back without them. This place has one of the worst waiting times I've ever encountered in a Sonic. I've worked for Sonic before, and believe me, whoever is managing this place and it's employees needs to get a serious performance review. I waited for 20 minutes at the drive-in for breakfast, and there were only two other cars, and they were waiting even longer than me. The slushies are constantly half-melted, and the burgers they send out are flattened beyond recognition. We repeatedly have to go back to have the order fixed, and they don't even apologize! Young people work here so that explain it. Stay away from this Sonic, it isn't worth your money. read more
