It turned out to be a real gem. I had the chicken fried steak dinner and my wife had the fried fish and shrimp dinner. Both dishes were utterly amazing. Service was quick and friendly and the prices were extremely reasonable. It's a little off the beaten path but google maps took us there without issue. Needless to say, we will be back!

The sautéed veggies were also an amazing side and has complimented the combo tremendously. I didn't need to use steak sauce at all to cherish the red meat. A small slice at a time plus a little veggie forkful was all it took to have this 5-star taste experience. Add tasty grilled shrimp to palate next. The ambience was great although I think I am starting to get too old for the volume of music at amazing joints like this. I should know better coz it's a sports bar. But I'm fine nonetheless. I heard that their signature Margherita pizza is the star of the show. I should have that next year when I come back to Gonzales. Kayleigh, my server, was top notch. Incredible experience being in downtown Gonzales TX for the first time. A rain storm took me here by destiny.
