My wife and I were coming back to Houston from Austin. She wanted a diet green tea (she's addicted) so she found this location and we stopped. Ordered from a stall, not realizing they had an actual drive thru. Our car hop Summer brought our drinks and was very friendly and nice. Excellent customer service!! If we are back this was again we will totally stop.

Nothing but the chicken on it. Missing the condiments completely!!

HORRIBLE! I was placing my order and they cut me off and then didn't respond so I had to go to the window. Come to find out it was the illiterate manager! So then I get my order and they didn't finish the meal. Two of the three lil chicks weren't complete. One had nothing on it and the other was missing the bacon. Total c*** service. Sonic's corporate office needs to fix this issue!! And if I could give ZERO stars I would.

The Chicago dog is almost as good as they are in Chi-town!

The people are rude, the food is normally cold, or stinks as in if it's bad, there is no ambulance because there's no cleanliness there.

They will mess up your order completely. I ordered a chicken sandwich and they gave me a cheeseburger instead.

The best jalapeno cheese burger in the Universe…read more They get VERY busy at times, so be patient. The service here I have always felt in a scale of 1-10 is a 9 or 10. Pro tip : Call ahead for the burger, it's ready in 20 to 25 minutes. If there is a line to order / pay, stand to the left of the line for pay/ pickup. I don't believe it is marked as such ? Ambiance is not fancy, but clean.

NEWSFLASH.....THIS JUST IN ..LOCAL COUPLE HAS SUBPAR MEAL AT THE DAIRYBAR…read more Yep, that's right! My wife and I had a surprisingly bad meal at the dairy bar. We thought about using the drive-through but that line was extremely long with oversized trucks and SUVs and such so we decided to park and walk in ; the dining area was surprisingly not busy. Maybe three tables were occupied; we were able to order immediately. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and a Sprite and my wife ordered a cheeseburger french fries and an unsweet tea with extra ice. Although the kitchen was preparing food for all the vehicles outside, we received our food in less than 10 minutes . I noticed my burger tasted a bit odd because the pickles and lettuce were quite chilled, and yet the beef patty seemed lukewarm at best and it did not even attempt to melt the cheese that had been placed upon it; same situation for my wife's hamburger. The cheese just sat there on the hamburger patty, not budging, not melting not getting gooey just sitting there. While her french fry order was hot and fresh, my onion ring order was rather lukewarm and crispy and yet also somewhat rubbery. Kind of weird for a fried product unless it had been fried and then possibly reheated in the microwave and served to me. It became obvious to both of us that the kitchen staff had simply pre-cooked some hamburger patties and set them aside and plopped them on hamburger buns and then they added the chilled mustard, lettuce, onions, and pickles. I hope that someone from the restaurant actually reads this review because across the highway I'd be willing to bet that there are several eating establishments that are about to go in providing us with more dining options.

My wife loves that so she was happy. When we sat down it took a while for us to get menus. The server a young girl apologized 3 times before we got to order. When we finally ordered about 10 minutes later I got the CFS and my wife got a burger and fries. We suddenly noticed a large group of 24 people came in together and a few other small groups at the same time. I thought oh no this girl can't handle who's here what is she going to do now. She told us she was the only server tonight. I got worried that we may never get our food. I have a thing about my food being Hot when I get it. I guess they must have called in some help. A new server delivered our food but we had no silverware. I tried my wife's fries while waiting and they were cold. Once I got the fork I tasted my mashed and they were ice cold. I had also asked for white gravy and she got me a new fresh mash that was hot. The CFS was good but not great. The batter was good but would not adhere to the steak. She pics below. My wife liked the burger. I hate to give negative reviews but so many things that should have been better.

He is a very nice Christian man who gives God the glory for his business. (liked that). The food was pretty good. It was hot and fresh. During our conversation, I did share a couple suggestions and he welcomed hearing them. This place has a lot more potential to grow and by adding some social media exposure and maybe a couple other things. Let more people know what you're about. One thing I will tell you, the menu online does not match the current menu. So, please go with an open mind as to what might be offered. I hope that if you are in the Waller area you will go by and give it a try. They close up at 8 so don't wait too late. I can tell you, I just might pop back in and see them again and what changes might happen. Good Luck y'all.

Arguably one of the greatest foods ever invented. Atleast in my world. How can you go wrong with bread filled with sweet or savory fillings? Hruska's is about halfway between Houston and Austin and a perfect rest stop to fill up on gas, use the clean facilities, grab a snack or indulge in their amazing baked goods. They are steeped in history and have been around for decades passing along the family recipes. It's obviously improved structurally over the years from a country store and looks like a modern gas station now. It's always pretty busy every time I have stopped in, but they are a well oiled machine and keep the masses moving with excellent customer service. They have all your gas station essentials like snacks and beverages. What sets them apart is their bakery. Here, they label their kolaches as the traditional fruit filled variety. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me. I highly recommend stopping here to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious pastry while you're at it. I will definitely be back.

Both were cooked and no pink was found. After trying my burger he said he wished he had purchased the same thing. I ate half of mine and took the other half home, but he ate all of his. One of the co-owners, Robert, took our order. He was super friendly. While eating we heard him talking to the staff in the back, and you can tell they all liked each other. The restaurant was spotless. I didn't go to the bathroom, but judging by the restaurant and what you can see of the kitchen, I'm going to assume it was also clean. I like knowing he used certified angus for the burgers. You can taste a difference. He also uses a local baker for the buns, and sources other things locally as well. I would definitely eat here again any day.

He made sure everyone was welcomed and I really loved that. You could tell he was passionate about his business and happily told us about different choices, helping us narrow it down to 3 different burgers, 3 different fries and milkshakes. We were getting our order to go so we took a seat while we waited and the owner came over to chat with us a bit as he cleaned tables and swept. The place was so clean and that was also a highlight for me. Once we opened up all the food we were so shocked at the size of the burgers. They are very hefty. You get a lot for your money. We ended up trying the fried egg burger, Mac n cheese burger and bbq burger. All 3 were a hit for us. For fries we did chili cheese, garlic Cajun, and sweet potato. Again, absolutely delicious. For the milkshakes we chose a classic vanilla and a cookies and cream and they were both so rich and yummy. We will definitely be back. It was a 11/10 for us in all areas-- clean, hospitable, delicious, and wait time for food. The man that runs this place is so kind and it is awesome to support local business when possible. Try it out!
