There are like a billion stores in this shopping strip, so this liquor store is not an easy find. I found this place on google maps when I searched for liquor stores near the area that I was in at the time, and it came up as the nearest one. When I arrived, I had issues locating it because of the numerous businesses that occupy this shopping strip. However, when I finally spotted it, I was a bit confused as to if they were closed, open, or out of business. The place was dark and I could barely see the open signage even though it was on. When I grew closer to the place, I was able to see the open signage much better. It was on, but very dimly lit, as if it was on its last leg, lol. The windows are darkly tinted which is why I was confused as to if the place was open for business or not. Because it's small and surrounded by so many different businesses, it is difficult to locate, especially with the dark tinted windows and dimly lit open signage. The owner should make some minor adjustments to make it easier for patrons to find this spot, by making it stand out more in some kind of way. Furthermore, customer service was great! The cashier was an extremely friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth person. When I entered the doors, from the rear of the store where she was occupied assisting a customer, she yelled, "Hello! Welcome! Come on in!" I appreciate happy people because it encourages me to spend more money, lol. We had a lovely chat during my visit and the entire experience was pleasant. She was knowledgeable about many of the items and made some great suggestions on a brand of Vodka that she suggested for me to try. The store was very neat, clean, and well organized. They're always stocked with my favorites, customer service is great, and their locations are plentiful! I can always count on this establishment to have my favorite brands in stock such as Crown Royal, Hennessy, Tito's, Patron, Grand Marnier, and more. However, they never have the rum that I fancy so much, Barbancourt Haiti Rhum. I always have to get it from Total Wines and more. Nevertheless, Spec's always come through for me keeping the shelves stocked with my most purchased items. I can never go wrong when I visit them. I also like the fact that they always have those tiny travel size Amsterdam Vodkas in stock. I love to buy them and give them away to friends and family as gifts and souvenir items. For some reason, it's difficult to find them at other liquor stores, but you better believe that Spec's will have them in stock in all the available flavors, which includes watermelon, pineapple, and peach. Furthermore, customer service is good! This was my first time visiting this particular location and I was impressed with its size, because most of the Spec's that I've visited in the past are really small, but this one was big. I don't mind shopping at small business liquor stores but I prefer Spec's and never have trouble finding a location close by wherever I may be in the surrounding Houston area. Overall, Spec's is a big corporate name in the liquor industry that service the Texas area where you can find most of your preferred liquor brands and more! I've never had a problem with customer service at any of the locations. Someone always greets me upon entering the building and I'm always offered some assistance in finding what I'm looking for. However, there's one slight issue that I have with this company and it's the extra charge that is applied to one's bill when using a credit card. If it wasn't for that, I would give this company five stars. I highly recommend this location for anyone who resides in the Cypress area or visiting the area. You can't go wrong here. There's also plenty of parking but the lot can get pretty busy, so please be careful while walking in this parking lot.
