I was able to purchase a bottle to share with local friends who may not be familiar with Kentucky bourbon and Tennessee whiskey. They also had a few allocated bottles visible. I also want to mention they had Luxardo cherries which have been a challenge to find locally. Heather's knowledge of wine is amazing and I purchased several bottles I have never tried based on her recommendations. I felt the prices were more than reasonable for an independent locally owned spirit store. I will be returning and this is where I will be purchasing all of my wine and spirits while I am here in the Katy/Houston area.

To my disappointment most of the better allocated liquor was gone. The problem was that they did not have much of the better allocated liquor. Several people had been camping over night which is not for me. Then most of the liquor did not have prices posted till you got to the register. It's a liquor store. Nothing really special about it. Would have thought that for a Grand Opening they would have had more vendors there with samples of at least some food trucks. I will not return as I found nothing special about this place. None the less I was able to get a bottle of Colonial Tayler at a price that did make me blush, at least not to badly. The owner is a nice fellow. If you want something special he will try to find it for you. I know I had the same offer from Spec's and Total Wines but never heard from them. Parkway found what I wanted in a few weeks and like I said offered at a somewhat unrealistic price that I caved on.
