The employees here try... This location isn't too impressive. The food you order will likely not consistently taste the same. I know the shakes certainly don't. The most unfortunate part of one of my visits was a super expensive breakfast burrito that was supposed to be sausage egg and cheese. I get it and drive to work, bite into it, only to find that tater tots had somehow ended up in my burrito and some sort of mystery meat. I ate it because I was hungry and already stuck at work. But the next two days of food poisoning were something for the record books! I have not eaten here since. And I can say I probably won't again. I've also had a coworker tell me that on several occasion he has been told that the ice cream machine is broken. He submitted a complaint and was ignored! Being that I am from Oklahoma, where sonic came from, I know this is not a usual occurrence. Unfortunately, this location has fallen prey to poor management. No fast food restaurant serves food that looks like it does on their menu photos, but this place doesn't even try. I ordered the SuperSonic bacon double cheeseburgers for my family and basically got two dried up beef patties, a half piece of bacon, and a teaspoon of wilted up lettuce pieces on a bun. Sonic Drice-In in London is awful. More than half the kiosks are out-of-order, and even if they're marked you can't tell until you pull in. Very inconvenient. As we waited on our order we watched several vehicles pull in and pull out again trying to find a working kiosk. I only stop there because my girlfriend likes the Chili Cheese Coneys. They've got her order wrong several times. Last time I ate there the chicken was dry. I'd rate the food 3 or 4 Stars, but the service and broken kiosks knocks my full review down to a 1 Star. read more

I visit London about once a month from out of town. Most always I go to Sonic for a quick burger or just to get my ice tea. The last four trips thru the drive-thru no one will answer the speaker. Again today after loudly saying "hello" four times - no answer. So I pull into a stall and order my 'unsweet' ice tea. We notice there is only one teenage boy working this Monday after Christmas. God bless him. He brings my tea......I ask him if it's unsweet.....he says yes. Driving down the road and take my first drink......SWEET! Yes I'm frustrated. This happens with teenagers (and not teenagers!) at fast food places about 60% of the time. No listening....no focus....no caring to hear the customer and get it right. But frustrated with myself....I know better than to leave without tasting...even though I confirmed with the server twice. What's to become of our country with these minds in charge someday?! Wow... Just wow. Decided after our visit to Wildcat Park that we'd stop at Sonic Drive-in 4705. We ordered in the app and checked in when we got there. So far so good. We finally got our order and the food was good except they had given me tater tots instead of large onion rings. I even checked my order to be sure because I was debating between onion rings and tots but I had ordered a large onion rings. So we pushed the red button to get it corrected. No one answered... EVER. While we were there we overheard a lady who used to red button to contact the staff state she received a Coke instead of Sprite, another lady got out of her car to complain about a mix up, and finally another person who apparently got their attention and a worker walked to their car and took their food back. While we ate our other items and waited for a response from the red button, someone in a yellow Chevy Camaro pulled up. Several workers knew the person in the Camaro and 4-5 of the workers came out to speak to then and inspect their car. This was all happening while the mix ups were occuring. Finally the yellow Camaro left and 3 workers walked back in. Still, NO ONE ANSWERED OUR RED BUTTON PRESS. Finally, we pulled around to the drive thru and tried to get their attention and after about 5 minutes, still no one answered the drive thru. This Sonic has always had subpar service but its down right ridiculous when at least 4 orders were messed up in a short period of time and the workers cared more about a friend's new car than their jobs. If I were the owner of this Sonic I'd fire all the workers on duty around 2pm today. Purple hair guy, backwards hat flannel guy, really short girl, and almost man-bun ponytail guy all should be wrote up or fired. Me and mine will be boycotting this Sonic and be going to Corbin. read more

I am not from the London area but today my grandchildren and I were traveling for fun and we decided on Sonic and a milkshake. They were very busy so we knew we would have a wait. The wait was OVER AN HOUR! I thought that it would be fine, they are so busy they must be great. THEY ARE NOT! They brought the wrong food out first, it was hot and looked great. We told the server he took it back and left, he returned with our food . Our food was cold, the popcorn chicken was crunchy and with little meat in it, the footlong had a hair on it and the fries were so cold they were chewy. The milkshake was good. I paid $37 dollars, I had to leave there and buy something we could eat. I told the manager she offered to remake the food, but after the hour wait for it the first time we decided no. I should have pushed for my money back but I didn't. As I looked in the kitchen area, no one had hair pulled back or wore hats. The restroom was nasty and garbage over flowing. Like I told her (the manager) the wait was something I understood because they were busy but to wait and end up with cold food was ridiculous. I can safely say I will never eat there again. read more

Awful service! Always gets your order wrong, and you'll wait at least 20-30 minutes, TO AN HOUR, for anything on the menu. Absolutely ridiculous and the workers are rude. The workers won't listen to a thing you have to say. Definitely never going back. Honestly it shouldn't even be in business anymore. Just an absolutely horrible experience. The girl taking the order was rude and while I was ordering she asked if there was anything else and I said yes ma'am I'm still ordering. At this point I noticed she had turned off the speaker so I pushed the button again and she answered with "what!"........so I told her never mind to just bring the part of order she got which was just my wife's food. When the car hop came out she seemed pissed that I payed with a $20 bill so she skates back to get change. She brought me my change back out and handed me the paper money but kept the change. I didn't plan on tipping because of the poor service but I guess I didn't have a say so in it.
