I was in town today for work and meetings with clients. We decided on Cheddar's because it was close to their office and none of us had been here in awhile. 5 of us went in for lunch today and there was no wait. Our server arrived as soon as we were seated and took our drink orders. Our group ordered 2 Grilled Chicken Pecan Salads, 2 Homemade Chicken Pot Pies and I had the Cajun Chicken Bowl. We also had a complimentary plate of the Honey Butter Croissants. All of us enjoyed our food. I don't think anyone was able to finish all their food because the servings are large. Our server was great and she checked on us several times. Total bill with tip was about $75 for 5 people. Great deal for lunch. No pics of our food today. read more

We were meeting Hubby's son to treat him for his upcoming birthday, and London is about halfway between his house and ours. We arrived first and even though it was a little after 12:00 noon on a Saturday, we were promptly seated. Our server Desseray greeted us promptly, and we ordered iced teas while we waited for the son to arrive. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that both the peach and strawberry flavored teas came in unsweetened and sweetened versions! Hubby ordered the unsweetened peach tea and I enjoyed the strawberry tea. Both were delicious and thirst quenching. Hubby had the garlic tilapia and shrimp with a Caesar salad and red beans & rice, while I had a vegetable plate with the baked potato soup, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, and Southern green beans, and the son had a top sirloin steak with a Caesar salad and French fries. The Caesar salads were eaten before I could get pictures taken! All of the food was delicious, but I had to bring home the green beans and mashed potatoes for another meal. A piece of carrot cake went home with the birthday boy!", while Hubby and I brought home glasses of tea. Our server Desseray checked on us frequently, refilled Hubby's tea a few times, as well as offered to-go cups of tea, and overall provided great service for our experience. The deduction of one star is due to how the HVAC vents are positioned in the bar dining area such that air blows on diners in the booths, and the air felt cold today even with the heat on. It's not the first time that I've been cold due to this situation, but today Hubby sitting next to me instead of across from me blocked some of the air from hitting me, and I kept my scarf around my neck to block more. Came at 2:20pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Got seated right away and only waited about 2 minutes for a server. Pretty loud atmosphere with this many people here. Started with cheddar bites which are fantastic, also the ranch that it comes with is good too. They give you a croissant drenched in butter to start, they are freaking good, also you will have a heart attack eating here daily lol. The smokehouse burger was above average and the garlic Alfredo was by far almost the best I've ever had. Good service and honestly the prices are pretty fair too. read more

When traveling we see a cheddars we go there . I enjoy there array of menu items. I had the ribeye and shrimp with baked potatoe and side salad . The Ribeye was very tender with a great taste cooked medium rare . One of the best non steakhouse ribeyes I have ever had . The fresh hot crossiants with the orange marmalade are to die for . This establishment is right off the highway on 75 next to Tesla Superchargers. We went to eat here while our car was charging. We were seated right away and the waitress was courteous. My husband ordered a veggie plate that came with a soup and I ordered a burger off the kids menu. The burger was over cooked and came with no condiments or veggies. It was just a patty and a bun (I asked for the cheese to be taken out). Had to ask for mustard and mayo which came promptly. We never got the soup for my husband's order. He just got the veggies (which he said were good). Our neighbors found fries in their salsa (they had ordered tortilla chips with one or 2 dips) and they left after informing the manager. There is not much to eat if you want to eat vegetarian around this parking lot. A Waffle House and a Mexican on the other side. McDonald's, and a Cracker Barrel a few min away. read more

Chicken tenders good as usual but we got the steak and tender combo. Ordered steak medium well and my wife ordered well done hers came out medium well and mine medium rare. We sent them back but the still weren't right and they reseasoned them with so much pepper my wife couldn't hers. So late hers since it was medium well and I took my medium rare home to heat up. Hamburgers are undigestible because of the additives and fillers they put in their burgers and I suspect they buy their beef from Servepro or other similar service which doesnt emphasize quality in their foods. I will never buy another burger at this restaurant. read more

Cheddar's is a popular Ohio and Kentucky franchise. I-75 is our gateway to Hilton Head and others points south, and London, KY seems to be a good stop north and southbound. Cheddar's is a very good choice in a sea of fast foods. Cheddar's seems always to be loud to very loud. It may take some time to locate food which is not fried. Cheddar's is a great family restaurant, and we enjoy children. MANAGEMENT- CLEAN UP YOUR RESTAURANT. Food, service and atmosphere was great. Our meal and experience was great until I visited the restroom. It was in such poor condition for a Sunday at 1pm, I was shocked. This bathroom hadn't been cleaned in days. Frosted glass door was filthy, bowls, sink, trash and fecal matter on the floor. Carefully leaving the bathroom, I noticed the beautiful bar stacking up with dirty dishes, the grease and mess on the floors in the dining room, and the terrible main entrance door that hadn't been cleaned of fingerprints and grease for days. Awful way to end an experience. The food was great. Hot and fresh. Service was excellent. TV screens all around. Beautiful fish tank between the bar and dining rooms. Spinach dip was really good for having no spice. I ordered the blackened salmon. It was perfectly cooked and spiced. I left the casserole and rice. Blah. My husband's chicken tenders were great. I wouldn't recommend the honey hot dip. It's heavy with Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, sugar and something to make it spicy. We shared the coconut painkiller drink. My salmon was as dry as cardboard. My wife's chicken was overcooked but the shrimp was ok.

Waited 45 mins for a table that wouldn't fit our party- waited another 45 for the food to come out cold. Would not recommend.

We stopped in here on our way home from a business trip, the place was less that crowded but the service was slow. Don't know if they were short staffed or what. Anyway the Beer battered shrimp was top notch, the rack of ribs I got were very moist and not dried out and very tender. I would have given a higher rating but the service was sub par, I really hope it was just a fluke and they where having a off night. read more

Many restaurants have got a bad habit. The bathrooms do not have hot water. We are trying to ensure people wash their hands when they leave the bathroom. It is hard to do that when the water is ice cold. Overall, the food was good and the server was well attentive. The restaurant was not busy so the food came out right on time. Stop telling customers you are "short handed" We visited the London Ky store and asked for a booth and was told they are only sitting to tables because they were "short handed" (Friday). The last time we ate there the waitress didn't bring my side. She then justified this by explaining how "short handed" they were and how many tables she had. on a previous visit when my chicken strips were spongy due to being microwaved the waitress said it was due to being "short handed". When you tell you customer you're "short handed" what you are really saying is you are receiving poor service due to my mgmt not doing their job. It's a managers job to staff, If I pay full price for my meal I should get full service. Not to mention I'm expected to pay at least 25% tip because they don't pay well either. read more

Our waitress was one of the best, kindest servers ever. I ordered a steak and it was full of gristle. I couldn't cut it or find any meat that could be eaten. When I waved for the waitress to come over she asked if my steak was too rare. I told her no and pointed to the steak. She immediately said "Oh I see! Let me take your steak and I'll get you another one. I'm so sorry!" It's always uncomfortable complaining or sending back food. But she quickly saw the problem, acknowledged it and corrected it. Me, my son and his 11 year old daughter all ordered sirloins. Guys 8 oz. hers 6 oz. and all med. rare. I got the smallest steak which was grand daughters and it was medium. So I sent it back and 15 minutes later I got a much larger steak which was unseasoned and fully purple and rare inside. I cut the rare center out and later gave it to my dog. Luckily we were visiting with our kids so we didn't mind the wait. Our food was not ready after 1.5hrs finally the waitress gave us an excuse of another table paid for our bill, but that didn't make any sense due to food not being made. We had to wait another 30 minutes for our order. Steaks were not close to cooked as ordered, mostly gristle. Waitress was not very attentive to the tables. My best guess is, our waitress forgot to put in our order. We expected at least an offer for a discount after 2.5hrs waiting on our food, but no they brought us a $160 dollar bill. Waitress was nice enough to laugh about our wait and tell us we won her first screw up that it has never happened before, not that funny.
