I have NEVER been to a slower "fast food" place. And I have been to my fair share! Sadly, this location gets worse every time! Today, much to my regret, I decided to treat the family to a surprise and bring home some hot Sonic. Unfortunately, it took over THIRTY minutes from the time I ordered until I got my 3 drinks and some cold onion rings. I am never going here again. They deserve to loose their franchise. This Sonic USED to be good, but in the last few years it has gone WAAAY downhill. Which is confusing because they USED to be the only fast food game in town. Now that McDonalds and Taco Bell are here Sonic has gone down the tubes, when they SHOULD be stepping up against the new competition. Generally, the people taking orders have no clue what is on the menu and will argue with you when you order something that is ON THE MENU but they may not be familiar with (today, they didn't know what a bacon cheeseburger toaster was). They always seem to randomly be out of some key ingredient...be it catsup, one of the sauces, fries, tots, drinks, etc. The area is generally dirty and if you were to peer into the kitchen (I encourage you to do so) you would see it is not being kept as clean as it should be. This Sonic needs a do-over. A mulligan. A new start. A new Manager. SOMETHING. read more

Mustard must be worth its weight in gold. I don't know about you, but where I come from, mustard is the standard condiment for a corn dog. So the first time I drove through this particular Sonic location, it didn't occur to me that I'd have to ask for it. I'd never had to at any other Sonic I've been to. And then I got home and ended up feeding my corndogs to my dog because I just can't eat them without mustard. So the next time I went, I reminded the guy on the other end of the speaker to make sure I got mustard. And what do you know? No mustard in the bag. Same thing the next two times I stopped. Yes, you'd think I would have learned my lesson. But you'd also think that the odds would be in favor of this joint remembering something at least ONCE. No dice. So today I pulled up and ordered my usual. The speaker dude actually asked me if I wanted mustard. Why, yes! Thank God! You do have mustard, and you're actually offering it to me? It's a miracle! Um...no, it's not. Guess what wasn't in my bag when I got home. Yep, mustard. Of course, I got wise and bought a giant bottle at the grocery store a while back. Yeah, I've outsmarted the mustard hoarders at the Manor Sonic. Okay, so I've gone on a rant about mustard, but what it really boils down to is service. They've effectively screwed up my order every time that I asked for something as simple as a standard condiment. No matter what time of day, no matter who my carhop is, no matter how busy they are, they get it wrong. I have now given up on them. They are either too dumb, too careless, or too attached to their mustard supply to keep my business. God forbid someone order a hamburger. They'd probably forget the bun. read more

The food is almost always good, but you better check your order everytime before you leave. If you get a large order expect something to be missing at least 50 % of the time if not more. I have had burgers, drinks, or sides missing so often it is rediculous. Large order or small check it for acuracy. However the food is usually good once you get it and the staff is usually friendly. read more

Disappointed! Told them i wanted a chili cheese burger with bread, meat, cheese and chili ONLY, but somewhere ended up with a burger full of mustard. Disgusting in my book, so with not be able to follow such simple instructions, they will not be receiving my money again AND they don't deserve a $15 minimum wage! read more

Not a happy camper order the 12 piece wings with 2 flavors and they stuck them in the same box with a butt load of BBQ sauce so now my Asian wings are BBQ flavored and how the hell do you call a hallow breading a damn cheese stick. This is the absolute SLOWEST fast food restaurant in the entire Austin metro area. First they're never responsive at the drive-thru, you have to ask if anyone is there. But no matter if you pull up to a stall or go through the drive-thru, it takes FOREVER to get your order. Today I ordered 2 drinks, with 4 other cars there, & left empty handed after 12 minutes. TWELVE minutes. I'm fully convinced there is no management system in place here & that the location is "ran" by a bunch of high school kids who prefer to socialize than work. read more

I have never had a more horrible experience than I did today. I took my family to Sonic in Manor Texas for brunch and had the worst service ever. After repeating my order multiple times it still came out wrong. I'm not one to complain or knit pick fast food restaurants but this was terrible! Three combos were made wrong again after repeating the order 3 plus times, my super sonic breakfast burrito looked and smelled like someone vomited on a tortilla ( no exaggeration honesty) the grilled chicken sandwich and cheese burger were supposed to be dry but still came with mayo and mustard. They shorted us a drink. I spoke with the manager who looked to be sixteen years old and she refunded the burrito meal and gave me a free medium drink on my next visit. I was not satisfied but excepted given her obvious inexperience . I left to go to Whataburger. After leaving Sonic my kids asked for there fries that came with the combo meals but were not in the bag! I called the store and spoke to a different manager who informed me he will not refund my entire order for which I demanded. read more

This sonic in manor tx is like most... filthy, slow and horrid cooks. The fried chicken was rubber and had a ton of mayo. The kids cheese burger was saturated with ketchup. And sonic always seems to be so stingy on drinks by filling them full with ice so you barely get half a cup of drink. So tired of sub par fast food like this. Sonic sux. Especially in Manor, Tx. This is absolutely the best SONIC i have ever been to. I have been going to this particular Sonic for the past 5 years and its the nicest group of fast food workers I have ever encountered. They always get my order correct and are always friendly and very fast. This is the only Sonic I can say I've had that experience with. When at all possible I always make sure I stop at the Manor Sonic. read more

I just had the worst possible experience here. I ordered my food at 12:23pm asked for a side of honey mustard. My food which was a chicken strip sandwich took 15 mins to arrive. No big deal but... They forgot my honey mustard so I push the red button wait another 5 mins and told the person that I had ordered a side of honey mustard but they forgot to bring it. He politely apologised and said we will run one out to you right now. So 10 mins goes by I still have no honey mustard and my food has gotten cold. I push the red button again and I asked if I could please get the side of honey mustard and he said they never brought it to you? I said no and my food has gotten cold as I ordered it 30 mins ago... He said I will send out a manager. So I waited another 10 mins thinking the manager would bring me a side of honey mustard. I started to drive off and a Hispanic girl comes walking up to my car and says I was just about to come to you? I explain what happened and she says well we didn't charge you for it so what do you want me to do? I wanted a side of honey mustard? I can't believe the lack of professionalism, rude manager, the fact that she still didn't have the honey mustard is ridiculous. An apology and a side of honey mustard was all I wanted. Great job Manor Sonic you've officially managed to mess up my drink order for the 20+ time (not exaggerating either)! I just spent 20 minutes in the drive thru ordering 4 drinks only to have them mess up the order AGAIN! This place needs new management it is consistently horrible whether it be the food, the wait or the service. The car servers are nice but always different people probably because nobody tips them since the orders are always screwed up or they're tired of waiting. I think this will be my last visit there for sure. read more

The major issue with this location is that it always extremely busy and can take forever to get your order even if it is just a drink. So it's a mixed basket not great but not so terrible to make me stop going to this location. Manor needs more fast food places so that the only major ones can stop being overly busy and the wait times frustrating. read more
