I actually thought this place was pretty tasty! Its a local fast food joint which makes sandwiches and other comfort food. I was probably the youngest person there for lunch by about 30 years, but older people know their Breakfasts and Lunch. I always go with the Spicy Burger which has the perfect amount of spice and meaty goodness. Add a side of fries and you got a good lunch. I also like that the place has a toppings bar including their own spicy ketchup and spicy ranch. Very cool! Like I mentioned, this is a pretty standard local fast food joint, but something I could certainly see on DDD. They make solid burgers so thats a good start for a great meal! This place was suggested to us by a local so I was looking forward to lunch. We walked in and its a place that you order at the counter which is fine. We ordered a Rueban and Hamburger. I was craving a salad, but when you looked at the salad bar it was not something you would want to eat. Not eye appealing at all. We went around the corner to sit down, tables were dirty and the benches were torn. Even if it is clean it did not appear that way, which makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Our food was delivered to the table. The utensils are plastic and the meals were served in plastic baskets. The food was tasty and again, the gentleman that took our order was great. My double meat cheese burger was so good I didn't put it down long enough for a picture. My wife raves about the loaded baked potato. Service is amazing and the tables are clean. Mine was a little wobbly but so am I. The salad bar has limited selection. I miss the days of a larger variety but this scaled down version works just fine. read more

Mehhhh. Have been meaning to make it in here forever, this Wednesday we finally made it. Sadly, I was unimpressed. Overall it's overpriced & dated, making it unappetizing/unappealing to me. I love a good dive (when it's priced like a dive) but the tables are peeling, the sign is cracked and falling apart, the salad bar area looks nasty and the sauces noooo way am I helping myself to them. But my biggest gripes, they don't do Apple Pay...strange, NO TAP water... even stranger and nothing comes with your $11 sandwich... not even chips. Did I enjoy my chicken Philly, I sure did but will I return? No thank you. This place needs some love ASAP. Staff was nice and I liked my Philly or I'd have to go 1 star because of their business practices and condition. read more

The last couple years service has been inconsistent, but the food makes up for it! It's been a very long time since I've eaten inside. I ordered the Cali club, based off the online menu. Was surprised there was avocado on it as that was not listed on the menu description. The menu has not been updated in over 10 years- since I was in high school- so they should definitely do that. The sandwich was alright. Bread ends were stale, and I would have forgone the avocado if I was aware it'd be on there. $15 for a sandwich and bag of chips. Outrageous. After reading through many of the reviews, I noticed there weren't a lot of photos so I'll add 10 to this review. This is a standalone restaurant surrounded by a small office park with plenty of parking. Once inside, we noticed that many of the tables we're in a state of disrepair and the entire place has a general sense of grunginess. Same with the bathrooms. With that said, this place is still quite popular with the locals and the Pflugerville high school students. Lots of seating inside. Ordering food here is pretty much like any other fast food place as you approach the counter and look at the menu on the wall, then place your order. They'll hand you a number and bring it out to you when it's ready. I give them credit for having a very extensive menu from subs, deli sandwiches, salads, kids menu, even baked potatoes. The old adage, "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. We ordered to dine in and they did not get the order correct. I asked for a double meat, but got a single, however, we paid for one fry, but got two. A few minutes later, one of the staff brought me an extra patty, which was unexpected. One positive note, when you check out, they don't flip the screen over in hopes of a tip. The fries are your typical frozen Mickey D's style fries, but they are better than In-N-Out fries. They definitely have the budget burger formula down here, just don't come with high expectations. For the money, I'll add this place to my burger "go to" list. The food and service is always excellent. The restaurant is nice and clean. Everyone is nice and helpful.

The peach tea was good and the potato was very tasty. Unfortunately the mushroom chicken sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. There was also a fly trying to eat my food with me and the person taking my order was a little confused. But I got my food quickly. Be aware this isn't a traditional sit down restaurant so you'll have to order at the front and take your plates to the garbage can. read more

I am surprised I like this place as much as I do. I have drove by Pecan Street Station hundreds of times and never even considered stopping. After dropping my car off for collision repair, I needed somewhere close to meet a friend for lunch and decided to finally give it a try. My only regret is not going sooner. We ordered pancakes, French toast, a chorizo breakfast taco with a side of hashbrowns and a migas plate. Everything came out fast and was delicious. Service was great. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. I took my kids to try it a few days after cause they love breakfast and they were immediate fans. Very happy to have found this spot. read more

I had been wanting to go to this place for a while since it's a local, seemingly family owned place. Boy was I disappointed. I came for a sandwich but saw the specials sign and the Swiss Mushroom burger sounded very good. They didn't ask how I wanted it and that is always a red flag. We were in Pflugerville for some business and decided to stop here. We got in just before the lunch crowd, it appears to be a popular place for the local businesses. They have a huge menu, we went with the "burger special", cheeseburger with a side and drink. I got the onion rings and my wife went with fries. The burger was good, fries were nothing special and the onion rings were good. I can't say this was the kind of experience that we said that we would definitely be back. My tab was $25 for the two "specials". I really wasn't feeling anything special about these in overall taste or price. Rating was good service and just a good meal. Not a 5 star meal and for what we paid I thought it would be more to it. Like I said, a big selection so there might be that great meal there but my experience was barely a good. read more

Been on my radar for a while but didn't get the chance to try it until recently. Since I found out they have a drive thru, I've been coming here a lot in the last few months. I haven't found anything wow here, in fact the food I've had has been pretty basic. Basic doesn't mean bad, just there's no interesting concoctions, special sauces, or unique preparation of an item - just simple plain stuff. And it tastes just fine in my opinion. The pricing is pretty good with decent portions. Being able to feed 4 for under $20 is a win in my book! Not sure about ambiance or dine-in service but drive thru has been fine so far, no missing items or mistakes. I like having this option close to me when there's no food in the house and need to pick something up quick at a reasonable cost that is not the usual fast food chains. read more

My SH and I enjoyed Pecan Street Station for lunch. I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and really liked the beefy, mushroom-forward flavors. Not the biggest cheesesteak I've ever had, but tasty and filling. I also had the broccoli cheese soup, and thought the portion was generous, the soup itself was really cheesy, and that it was definitely worth ordering again. My SH had the pastrami sandwich, and thought it was good, although not wildly out of the ordinary. The cashier at the walk-up counter was very friendly, and our food came out hot and fresh in a timely manner. Plus, prices were quite reasonable. Just as a note...the fountain drinks were pretty bad - very watery, and not very good. If there's something you like in the drink case, it would be a better choice. Overall, we liked Pecan Street, and would go again - especially if it was closer to us. The 20-minute drive from our house wouldn't justify a special trip, but if we were in the area, we'd happily go again. read more

Okay, first timer here!! i really like this. Really friendly feel. you can tell the workers like to be there. I love that. Went during my 30 min lunch break and made it out! (with that sandwhich) This has a old fashion feel and the food is obviously made with real ingredients. I observed some great interactions between the staff and customers and I appreciated them. I went in Tonight with my husband. Cashier did a great job. She was treated absolutely horrible by Manager. I am not happy. Manager told the girl to shoo shoo shoo go on and get and how she already separated the bags and in my eyes she might have autism or a disability and new. Which makes things way worse on the matter. Have patience. Absolutely not acceptable. Being disrespectful and rude to your employees I heard her with more than one Tonight is unacceptable. Makes me not want to go back. Mom and I got the same sandwich and her husband got the biscuit and gravy. My egg was so over cooked that I went and grabbed mayonnaise to try to get some moisture added to the sandwich. The croissants reminded me of what you get from Burger King. It was in no way flaky fresh or homemade. Thats what I thought I was going to get. The hash browns were good. I ordered take out so I can't speak for the service. This review is just about the food. I got the turkey and cheese on wheat. It was just a run of the meal turkey sandwich. Definitely NOT worth $8 bucks. My son had the spicy burger. Not good or bad. It was lackluster though. The chicken tenders basket was good. The chicken was seasoned well. I didn't like the cookies.
