I use the app to order because it is easy and half price drinks. All American hot dogs are my weakness.

Nor did they have the chicken livers as listed on Yelp. Big disappointment. 2 of our party (of 5) got there earlier than the rest of us and snagged the last available table on a Sunday early afternoon. They obviously cater to the after church crowd. We all ordered our food and then waited and waited and waited. Yes, I get that they were busy but our friends have all eaten here before and they said it wasn't more (or less) crowded than and typical Sunday and that they had never had to wait that long for their food. Also, the appetizers we ordered were never served. The waitress did read back the (correct) order but the apps weren't on the bill. Hubby ordered the "Kountryfied Steak." He asked for fried squash as a side but was told that they didn't have that, so he got it with green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything was "okay" for him except that he wasn't given a knife and the servers seemed to have disappeared so there wasn't anyone to ask for a knife so he ended up spearing the steak on his fork and just gnawing his way through it. I ordered the "Smach's Piled High Fries." They were barely warm when they came out and were missing the bacon, chives, and sour cream - roughly half the ingredients! The chili tasted like it was canned - it had sort of a tinny taste. By the time I got the attention of a server/waitress and was able to request the sour cream, pretty much everything else on my plate was no longer warm. Honestly, I don't see us coming here again. There's nothing "special" to set it apart from the other restaurants nearby and the food was passable at best.

Five stars to raise the rating!! They deserve more traffic…read more I almost didn't come because of the low rating. Had I listened to you guys that griped for no reason I would have never gotten to eat here! C has a new theory about AR reviews. The higher it is the least we will like it, and oppositely, if it's lower, we will like it. I may just have to agree. Makes no sense, but Sarah is the guvna, so well.... Nothing really makes sense in AR! Now, if it wasn't really good I would not just throw a fiver around just to raise the rating. I am not that guy that believes in socialism and all. You post up in line and order at the counter, grab your drink, and then they bring you the foods. Nice and easy! It was pretty busy on the day we came. It was Sunday after lunch in the South, so you know... The interior is full of funny little sayings and signs. Some areas seem to have themes to them, especially the bathroom hall. I think it's a bit kitschy, but it's cute nonetheless. Serves this place well. I would say this was one of the better burgers that I have ever had in my life. Top 10 for sure. The whole family agreed. It was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and was crispy and juicy at the same time. DAMN GOOD BURGER!! WOW. C got the single, no cheese, with onion rings. I got the Patty Melt with fresh cut fries. Lil' A got the Junior Burger so she could handle the milkshake she wanted. Boyfriend had chicken strips w/fries. We ate it all! My Patty Melt was outstanding! Just perfect really. If they had rye bread it would have possibly been the best ever. I loved the crumble of the beef. Yum! Milkshakes are tasty too! I had a fried pie sample too. I'd weigh 400 pounds if I lived here for sure! Milkshakes, burgers, and fried pies!!! YUM Get your butt in here now! Write a good review and let's raise the rating!!! However, the rest of the food (chicken strips and fries) was not ready. 10 minutes later, after sitting at the window with no update, I had to call the restaurant. I think I will go somewhere else next time.

The food is usually excellent if you can get it as soon as it is prepared…read more My husband and I usually love this place despite the occasionally rude drive thru attendant. The burgers are juicy, well seasoned and freshly prepared. The fries normally are crispy and delicious. We overlook the rude dog lady because the food is good, but tonight things were myeh. We tried calling for over 35 minutes, on the first call, a woman answered "Hello" then hung up on my husband and when he tried calling subsequent calls were nothing but a recorded busy message. Since I'm not a whelcher; he called so I have to pick up. I had to go rogue and risk the drive thru actually being open. I went to the restaurant and ordered in the drive thru explaining I thought something was wrong with phone since we had tried calling for over 35 minutes. The woman said we have been very busy with lots of call in orders. When I said we were hung up on she the phone must've died. The same rude female worker with fake nails so long I suspect they could not pass a health inspection, took my order and told me to pull around to the front and she would bring my order out. I pulled around and watched the woman leave the restaurant and sit in a car with a man in the parking lot. After a few minutes the cook put what I suspected was my order in the order up window where it sat for about 10 minutes. The cook started bagging up the order and I was about to get out and go inside despite being sans bra and improperly shod and get the order when the cook stuck his head out the drive thru window and called to the rude dragon nailed lady. She went inside and brought out my order ignoring my best "I'm very annoyed" face. Despite the busy phone and all the orders the woman alluded to, not one person came in the restaurant in person or in the drive through. Out of curiosity, I called again as I drove away...no surprise phone line still busy. Great burgers, fries delicious when crisp and not soggy from sitting too long.

This small building is about 130 years old, and the there's a modernized 1890's vibe here, playing 1970's music overhead. I'm not sure what I liked better: my bacon cheeseburger or my slice of chocolate pie. The burger was two (seemingly) mini meatloaves, perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. The cheese was bubbly. I found the bun somewhat weak for the job it was trying to hold together. Collapsed into itself at one point. The bacon was fine (isn't it always!), but just not my favorite. The home-made fries were potatoey perfection. My grandmother passed around 1982. If she were still here, I'd be forced to tell her someone makes a better chocolate pie than her. At least I avoided the cussing and getting walloped by a broom. The crust was buttery and of perfect firmness. The chocolate cream was covered in heavenly whipped cream, I assume homemade. Will absolutely be coming back in the Fall, for the leaf show. And a burger. And that pie. Great staff also. Very welcoming, including the owner.
