Compounding the issue was a noticeable lack of leadership on the floor--no one directing traffic, prioritizing orders, or keeping the operation moving efficiently. The result was a chaotic service environment where customers were left waiting and wondering what was happening with their order. As for the food, the bagels themselves were perfectly adequate but ultimately unremarkable. In a market where great bagel shops thrive on both quality and efficiency, "fine" simply isn't enough to outweigh a frustrating service experience.
