I end up calling in and they say that it's been ready... no idea how this happens but I use the app because drinks are half off so it gets frustrating. Went to Sonic for a quick take home meal after work. I ordered the brown bag special. My husbands cheeseburger dripped with mustard. Mine was very dry and didn't have any cheese. I ordered a drink and some mozzarella sticks online, checked in, and the food said it was out of the kitchen and on its way, 5 minutes later I pressed the button and told them it said my order was coming but it wasn't. A guy came out with my drink and said they were out of sticks but could get me something else. I told him some popcorn chicken would be good, then I wait for 15 more minutes. I press the button again and told them that my alternator was broken and I literally couldn't sit there any longer, which was true. Finally a girl comes out, hands me a bag, and goes back inside, no "sorry about the long wait," no "here's a coupon for you trouble," no "we are going to give you a refund," just a bag of the chicken, which I didn't even order, and about 30 minutes of my time wasted. On my way home my car battery completely ran out and I had to drive home with no dash lights, dials, AC, or radio because this location was incompetent in relaying to their patrons what items they don't have, don't know how to prioritize guests that they have already wasted the time of, and don't know how to accommodate patrons for their excess time and shoddy service. In comparison 2 days earlier I went to the Chick-fil-A in Hutch and my friend who had to wait 5ish minutes for his order was given an apology and a coupon for a free sandwich.
