This Sonic location really disappointed me today. I go there after being rudely greeted at a different Sonic location in the same town. I clearly place my order. They read it back to me but one part of it was wrong. When I corrected it and they acknowledged it, I thought that was the end of it. Wrong!!! When they brought my order out, it was still wrong so I corrected them again. Then I asked them what was on the receipt and sure enough, the order was still wrong. When I told them what I was supposed to have, they said they were going to have to charge me the difference. I don't think so. That's their mistake. Not mine. When I brought that to their attention, they repeated that they had to charge me the difference. I told the them to keep the food, that I expected a full refund, and that I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager comes out, I explained what was going on, and he said that they just corrected it without charging me extra. I would think so. You don't charge customers extra for a mistake you made. Sorry!!! That's bad business. They gave me my food and I sarcastically told them that I hope they didn't spit in my food. The lady that brought my "corrected" order out said "Sir, I don't do stuff like that." I said "You may not but others do" I've heard plenty of stories where food service workers spit in people's food (or worse) when a customer is stern with them even when it's the restaurant's fault. She said something back to me. Now, I wish I had insisted on getting my money back. But, this Sonic location (and the one on 52nd st) won't be getting any more of my money for awhile if ever again. read more

I wait months to go back in hopes that the next time I go my experience will be better... but I think it gets worse! Horrible service, horrible food. Unfortunately we don't have many options around which is why I think people still even come here. What a waste. read more

This is the worst Sonic I've ever been to! Everytime I've been here something has been wrong. We stop here every now and then ONLY bc it's just a few blocks from our house, but at this point if you are wanting Sonic skip this location and drive into town. I ordered 1 Chicago Dog, 1 sonic blast with the caramel center ($0.50 extra charge), and a slush with nerds candy (extra charge for the candy). It was about 3:00pm so it should have been happy hour. To start, my order never popped up on the screen, someone ELSE'S drink order was on MY screen. Then when the car hop brought my order she said it was $8.52. I was in a hurry so handed her a $20, only to get back $11 and no receipt. I'm one who typically leaves the change regardless but had I needed to pay those $0.48 I'd be asked for it.. Very unprofessional to not give back a customers change. The reason I am making this review is bc once getting home and eating what we ordered, there was not caramel in my Sonic Blast (that I was charged extra for) and maybe 2 little nerds in the slush (which I'm sure I was charged for as well but will never know bc I never received a receipt.) Mind you I went before school was out to avoid the rush, so it was not busy at all. Who ever is working fountain needs to pay better attention to orders on their screen and have better workmanship and make the drinks people pay for the way they would want to drink them! Also carhops need better training. All in all it falls on bad management. The only reason this review got 1 star is bc I love Sonics Chicago Dogs and that was great! Kuddos to the 1 person working in that location today that was competent enough to do their job. I would not recommend this Sonic location to anyone, and I will not be returning. read more

This has to be the worst Sonic I have ever been to. I have never once had my food be warm. It always comes out cold. Especially the tater tots. They have always been cold for me. They have horrible customer service. I told them they forgot to give my ketchup. The lady taking my order was named Amanda and she yelled at me and never brought my ketchup out. This has happened every single time I have gone on the past 2 months. I will never go again. I would rather drive in town and go to a different. read more

I live close to this Sonic. I stop very frequently for my diet DP with vanilla and a bag of ice. I decided months ago I would quit eating there because I feel like they rip you off. I was hungry and on my way home today. I thought I'd give them another try. I ordered #7 chili cheese dog meal. Thinking I would get what I ordered, when the guy brought out the meal, he made sure to tell me I had ordered a large meal. I didn't order a large. I just want a medium everything. I asked to speak with the manager, but the fumes from the power washer were so strong I drove around to the window. I talked to one girl and she went and got the manager. I told her I come pretty frequently and I don't understand why they upgrade my meal without me asking. She said if I come there often I would know that all meal are upgraded to a large. I told her I guess I'd have to take my business else where. She did not care. I worked in fast food many years. Just make your customers happy. It's not always about upselling. read more
