We went on a Friday at 2:45 pm. We used the drive thru. Samantha was the associate who helped us. We got two route 44 drinks and a large onion rings. The drinks had a bite and burn which we love about sonic drinks and the onion rings were hot and fresh! DELICIOUS! Samantha was so efficient and helpful! Anything Sonic has as a limited time only they just flat out never have. It takes them aaaaages to fill orders even if there aren't really any cars in the stalls and the drive through is empty. This place is straight up, bottom of the barrel, poorest of the poor, as bad as you can get. Constantly forgetting to add this and add that after being THOROUGHLY specified when ordered. To top it off, the last time I "attempted" to place an order (@ 9:40pm) for a strawberry shake, I was told the machine had already been shut down & cleaned and they don't close until 10:00pm!!! If there were negative star options.... We order the same order at all sonic drive-ins. This one, on FIVE separate occasions, got it completely wrong. It's 40 minutes round-trip, and we checked half the order... that was a mistake. Once we got home we discovered it was wrong again, and it was fed to the dogs. I love this sonic compared to the other two in town. They make their food with love . My pretzels are always golden and beautiful, unlike the other places where it's burnt looking. It's always clean here. The drinks are always made just right. The carhops are always friendly. The carhops at the sonic on Harrison are just a bunch of young girls that don't know customer service, so I don't go to that one anymore. Anyways, this sonic is good with me. read more

My husband and I decided to stop by Sonic to get ourselves and our daughter a drink during happy hour. Upon pulling up to the intercom to place our order we were greeted by a very unpleasant voice. The server did not greet us pleasantly instead he demanded, "What do you want." This was rude and does not represent Sonic in a positive light. When my husband pulled up to the window, the server flung the window open and began to hand the drinks out in a hateful manner. When he handed my husband his vanilla Dr. Pepper, he stated "Here's the Dr. Pepper." My husband politely ask if it was vanilla Dr. Pepper. Instead of giving a response, yes or no, the server takes it back, dumped a portion of it out and pressed the vanilla Dr. Pepper button before handing it back to my husband. He was very rude, this used to be one of the better Sonic's in town. read more

This is a mediocre Sonic. Very slow and sometimes rude service. I once waited 20 minutes for a burger. The food is okay, when they get your order straight, which is only two-thirds of the time. The place seems to be run by 16 year olds, and there is apparently never a manager on duty. Shawnee has plenty of Sonics; skip this one and go to one of the good ones. read more

I don't have anything bad to say about this particular sonic, just sonics in general. When I was growing up I loved the sonic. I loved the burgers and the foot longs and I ate there all the time. Now, the chili is not the same chili and it is not good at all and if you get cheese it is just looks like they just take that nasty square cheese and melt it unlike the good shredded cheese they used to have.. The burgers seem to be dry unlike what they used to be and their prices are insane. I can go and eat somewhere at a nice set down for the cost of a meal there. What it comes down to for me is the quality you get for the cost is just not there. read more
