I've at this restaurant several times and another of the same name owned by the same people. They are the classic great A Erica prepare. Rich n heritage and wonderful people to get to know. They will greet you with a warm friendly smile. The ambiance is that of your childhood part dreaman part things you remember as a child. You will smell some awesome food being prepared. The restaurant is budget friendly, won't break the bank. The food is very good and seems always at its best. Give these sweet people a try. "Prague" There are two ways to pronounce it. The incorrect way and the Oklahoma way! Under a pile of fresh cut fries were four nice sized catfish filets hand dredged in corn meal, escorted by 4-5 shrimp and hushpuppies; all fried to create a perfect crispy nirvana. Fresh homemade slaw on the side! Damn that was Good! I was originally going to have a salad until I saw the Friday special. Amazing food for a small-town restaurant. Ok. Hard to believe I am the second person to write a review of this place, but only other other person seems to like to know where to eat in greater Shawnee. Arrived at 2:20pm on Saturday. The venue is a filling station turned restaurant. Haven't been in the evening, but the truck tire tracks seem to say this is where you go to eat and enjoy music and a beverage. I had the jalapeno ranch burger which was covered with onions and bacon. The server recommended it, with her second choice being the mushroom swiss burger. In the past few years, the only other places that have made an impression are Liberty Burger (a chain) that peppers the DFW area and the awesome Cowboy Gelato in Amarillo. My friend had the 'ordinary' burger. We both opted for the smoked potato with sour cream and butter. We were not disappointed. At 2:20 in the afternoon, there were about six tables being served. For the town the size of Prague, that is a lot of people at that time of day. The local know. Across the street and a quarter mile or less west is another possibility, but we were both very happy with price, taste, service and menu choices. Take the detour from 40 between OKC and Henryetta/Eufala and points west for a great burger. Thank you for not disappointing us. read more

You should definitely add Destinations to your future destinations! We stopped here on our way through town and this restaurant had the best burgers and a neat eclectic atmosphere. I ordered the destinations burger and the husband ordered the rancher. They were big and hot and fresh and scrumptious and came with homemade fries. Yum. Where to begin!! I was recently walking across the country and ended my day in Prague, my dog and I needed some dinner and to find a place to stay for the night. The ambiance of Destinations was calling our name. As soon as we got there we were greeted kindly, by a couple of the owners daughters, they brought my dog and myself water. They could tell that I was on some sort of adventure, so I explained what I was doing and immediately the owner came out to talk with me and meet my dog, she brought my dog some chicken and I had some delicious chicken fried steak, with hand made curly fries and cole slaw, they also brought me some fresh chips and salsa! After talking for a bit and cleansing my pallet with some delicious beer the Capron family offered to let me stay with them for the night instead of sleeping in my tent! They even let my dog sleep in the house! The food was fantastic but the hospitality was exceptional!!! I was also introduced to almost every customer that came in the door and treated like a local!! I ended up staying with the Capron family for many days after this evening and eating almost every meal on the menu, every meal was spectacular, but again the people taking care of you at this restaurant are one of a kind!This is definitely the best place to stop in at when in Prague! I went completely out of my way on my cross country trip to visit this unique 'Destination'!
