It is a bit more discreet, we missed it on the first drive by. I do appreciate nurseries, so we made an u turn back. If this helps it is right next to Kenwood spa & resort. They do have a impressive signage with a brick wall gated entry. The fella working that day in the nursery was very knowledgeable. Plus he had a laid back easy going demeanor. The plants are laid out under some oak trees (maybe valley oaks). They have over 200 varieties of Japanese maples, 40 + varieties of dogwoods, and others. All the plants were in excellent condition, they were well cared of. We walked around...enjoying the beautiful varieties and meandering pathways mixed in with a few art sculptures. I eyed a $15 yucca plant. Great deal. But had no room in the car to transport it. Darn. I definitely will check them out again when I am in the area. I will make room for that yucca plant. :) BTW they conduct gardening workshops and seminars. Most are free. Check out their website.

I took a six hour stained glass class from Suzannah and it was wonderful. There were five of us in…read morethe class and we all ended up with a beautiful piece of stained glass art to take home and hang up in the window. Suzannah is a wonderful teacher, kind and thoughtful and able to give good feedback, and really straight instructions on how to do the things you need to do to create a stained glass piece. I highly recommend these classes to anyone. It was a wonderful experience, and I would do it again.
