Amazing karting classes. Structure is great, instructors are knowledgeable, kids have fun. Best for older teens and adults.

Some logistical info as we couldn't find it on the website 1. A shuttle is available to take you to the event site from the parking lot 2. They did not check any bags - we had 1 backpack each with some snacks and soft drinks 3. It did get very very hot - hats, umbrella, sunscreen were useful 4. The seating was open and there was shade after climbing about 5 flights of stairs 5. Most food stands were closed as this did not look like the busiest event but there were definitely options to chose from (expensive ofc) 6. We were able to go very close to all the cars and some drivers were really nice and took pictures with kids 7. There is a special area for ferrari owners ~~ 8. turn 2 was a good place to see the race 9. There is a lot of walking involved, might want to take a stroller if you have a young kid The -1 star because the website has such little info

Totally done with class - the people sharing coffees and small bites prior to putting the helmets on were open, friendly and welcoming. No one ever asked, " what do you do?" How many do you own? Etc.. very low key. The track: very hilly and very tight corners. The G forces are going on the whole time and very easy to get an upset stomach. I passed on my driving coach's offer to do a "hot lap" after my 7 laps. Discretion at its best. All in all a very fun experience and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

My…read moreboyfriend and I stopped by on a sunday morning so he could try the racing simulators and we were immediately greeted and helped! The store is run by a dad and his son, and it came to fruition as their hobby. Both the father and the son are super passionate about racing and simulation racing, and it clearly shows in the heartwarming enthusiasm and dedication they show to making sure you have an enjoyable experience. The price is great too! $20 for 20 mins on the formula 1 racing car and the 60"screen car. The price drops to $15 for 20 mins for the two smaller sim cars! We were in line behind a group of racers from Sonoma, and the father happily explained that the racers were frequent customers, and that they actually race on the racetrack they were simulation racing on in real life. Once it was my boyfriends turn, they strapped him in and explained that the simulation racing had full motion and impact. Halfway through my boyfriend's turn, the father/son duo noticed that the motor wasn't adjusting properly and paused the game so that they could fix it. They even ended up letting my boyfriend finish a few extra laps! They could have easily not told us, and we wouldn't have noticed, but it really illustrates how kind and honest they are, and that this really is their passion! My boyfriend enjoyed it so much, and cannot stop talking about it. We will definitely be back, and he's hoping to place in the top20 for the timeattack next time!

My husband tried both of the motion simulators and enjoyed the full motion the most. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They adjusted his settings so that he would have the best racing experience. He even had the chance to race other racers there in real time, and I was able to watch the race from an exterior cam view. We also thought the price was great at $20/20 min! Check out their instagram and website for more info and videos. We will definitely be there often.

The organization was first rate! Great safety and communications. For those of you who have not done track days, if you ride a motorcycle, you owe it to yourself to try it! You can bring any type of bike and need basic safety gear. If you get more into it, you will spend more. I would absolutely recommend Zoom Zoom or Z2.

We were still waiting for my boyfriends Yamaha R6 that was on the Rockridge Two Wheels truck along side another Yamaha and 2 Aprila bikes. We took a walk around the grounds and ended up on the track just at the sun was still rising. When the rest of the boys and the bikes arrived we found a nice spot to unload and set up. They needed to go through inspection and orientation. As the guys got suited up in there racing suits I started to get excited to watch them all. The riders all gather and they let 4 bikes go at a time until they are all out. There are 20 minute sessions every hour. 3 before lunch and 4 after lunch. As a spectator it is so much fun. It was a long day, 7am-5:30pm but the day seemed to fly by! I sat in the stands and watched at the checkered finishline. In the afternoon I went to the green bridge and watched my boyfriend zoom by into the first few turns, it was so cool to watch! I cant wait for the next track day!!! Well that was my review as a spectator. Here is my boyfriends review as a rider: "For any motorcycle rider, a track day is a unparalleled experience. Its really the only way to truly use your bikes full capabilities without jeopardizing life and license. Zoom Zooms staff creates a safe and exhilarating environment that allows you to fully enjoy yourself. They provide as much (or as little) help and insight as you feel you need as well as keeping you safe from reckless and inexperienced riders. They keep an eye out for hazardous riders and give them the boot if necessary. I would ride with these guys again. See you next season Zoom Zoom."

You'll have to sign again at the register, but it will save you a bunch of time when you arrive. Ok...for our experience. It can feel a little overwhelming when you first arrive if you haven't been there before. Having people walk in, with their own helmets, acting like they own the place will have anyone unsure where they should go or do when they first arrive. The staff make it feel very welcoming and friendly. After I finished check-in, I felt like the people with their own helmet. Tyrez helped me at check-in. He was patient, professional and friendly. When I say patient, I mean PATIENT! I had four kids with me and when it came to head covers alone, he got everyone what they needed even though I had to prompt the kids multiple times to come to a decision. We got there, but it was rough and Tyrez was amazing throughout! He even explained everything to me so that I wouldn't be caught off guard by anything and wouldn't end up frustrated...or at least that is how it felt. Next, know this. When they are running adult races, it's loud in the track area. Because I work safety, I have my watch set to alarm me when the sound exceeds the OSHA permissible exposure limit. It went off a lot. So, I measured the sound. It can get above 100 decibels. That's loud. Not as loud as a rock concert or fire truck siren, but it will make it difficult to have a conversation. You may want to consider ear plugs...or ear buds with noise canceling. The races are run very efficiently and they alternate between youth and adult groups. One safety feature the do great is that they are never on the track, together, at the same time. Safety seemed like it was well managed. When impacts happen, they throttle down the carts, to ensure everything is safe. One note though...and I see this as a huge positive...they let you RACE! Yes, they pay attention and focus on safety, but they don't scold or stop because of a little inadvertent contact. I was truly impressed by the balance they maintain there. In my group of four, two were a little scared and didn't race all the races we purchased (I bought the SpeedPass for each and it seems like a really good package for first timers), but they were amazing at helping me re-assign them to the others in our group. Luis helped me there and again, he was patient with me and helped ensure we got everything transferred correctly. He also answered all 5,000 of my questions throughout our visit. No, not really 5,000, but there were a lot. He was amazing! If I had any criticism at all, it would be for the game area. Many of their games weren't working because of a network error. It was disappointing for me, but it hit the kids hard. They should have someone dedicated to that area as it was never empty while we were there. I would imagine that having all working correctly would result in increased revenue. Overall, we had an amazing adventure there today and Tyrez and Luis were part of the reason why. Their track team was the other part...I just wasn't able to get their names. If you're looking for a new adventure, this is an amazing way to spend a Saturday!!!
