Several weeks ago we made an appointment with "Brian" at Sonoma Solar Clean to have our solar panels cleaned. We sent photos of our panels to Brian because he prudently wanted to verify that he could reach our solar panels from a single ladder because the panels are on our top roof and not accessible by standing on our roof due to the type of terracotta clay roofing tiles we, and our 26 unit homeowners association (HOA), had installed when our HOA was built in 1982. Today when Brian, and his Dad and partner, "Rick," arrived, they quickly assessed the roofing angles, and brittle clay roofing tiles, and discussed with me why it would be unsafe for them to clean our solar panels given that they could not reach the panels from the top of their 24 foot ladder, and walking on the clay tiles to reach the panels risked breaking tiles. So despite not receiving a service from Sonoma Solar Clean, I am 100% certain that had Brian and Dad-Rick cleaned our solar panels, we would have been completely satisfied. I know this because of the diligence, and customer service-orientation Brian and Rick showed in their discussion with me about access to our solar panels. We will refer Sonoma Solar Clean to anyone who needs solar panel cleaning, and once we replace our roofing tiles with look-alike stone coated steel tiles that can be walked on, we will be calling Brian and Rick to clean our solar panels! read more

This is the second time we had our solar panels cleaned by Brian and his assistant, Rick (his father) at Sonoma Solar Clean. It is amazing how sparkly clean they are after Brian is finished! Brian and Rick are super friendly, professional, quick and do an excellent job. They came right on time and were done cleaning our 57 panels in an hour! They use top quality equipment and the cleaned panels look beautiful. While he was there, he noticed the moss growing on our roof and gave us a fair estimate to soft wash the roof. Amazingly enough, after two weeks, the moss was completely gone! I am sure this will extend the life of our roof. Brian did an amazing job cleaning our solar panels! Our oak trees had done a number on them, but they are sparkling now! Brian even cleaned our skylights (two), which were even worse than the solar panels at no additional charge. Customer service is incredibly important to me, mainly because I lead such a busy life, therefore, the little things (that seem insignificant to others) are honestly the BIG things for me and rarely do I find someone that shares the same customer service values and techniques that I follow in my trade/position. Some examples of this include: 1). Reminder of the appointment date and time (the evening before). 2). Call or text when on the way.
