It's built into two phases with the first being a couple weeks long of learning material and some light hands on training before you can start working with clients. They teach facials, waxing, and anything to beautify the skin (dermaplaning/extractions/chemical peels/eyelash extensions/body wraps/etc.) You are given a full dermologica kit of goodies and pro products for your use only because on campus they have an entire dermologica back bar of which you get your product from for use with any clients you might get. Class is 3x weekly with 2 being in person and the 3rd being remote and those days will focus of theory and coursework. Overall my experience was excellent, they don't "punish" you for being absent and you have more time than your actual grad date to finish if you need to miss class for whatever reason. They also have a great leave of absence policy that made me feel a lot more ready to start the program while also working full time with two young children. I loved loved loved the teachers. Adored them. Ms Julie, ms kelle and ms Kristen are fountains of knowledge and I think the networking from them and fellow classmates already with experience in the industry is an invaluable resource.
