While my assigned doctor is undoubtedly knowledgeable, his ability to connect with patients is truly above and beyond. I had trusted my previous pulmonologist for over a decade and was hesitant to change doctors, but I needed to do so for geographical reasons. He has made me feel completely comfortable being in his care, and he is not afraid to challenge the opinions of other doctors to ensure I am getting the most appropriate care. The staff is also incredibly kind and respectful. I particularly wanted to mention my experience today during my breathing test. The technician was able to compel me to quit vaping without being judgmental; in fact, I am not sure if that was even his specific intent, but that is exactly what is taking place. I feel very comfortable at their practice. While the office is busy and parking can sometimes be difficult, I believe that is simply a sign of a good practice that will likely outgrow its current space in the next couple of years. I am truly grateful to have found their office. Life is too short to trust doctors who appear less than human, and I would encourage anyone to give them team a chance.

Been going on 5 months trying to get a CPAP machine. Its been a complete nightmare because of the incompetence in this office. I cancelled all upcoming appointments, had my PCP arrange my CPAP, and will be seeing a new plumonologist. Disorganized and negligent is only the tip of the iceberg at this place. Go down the street to 57th behind the bank for a proper pulmonary office and sleep lab.

It turns out I have sleep apnea, big surprise to me but maybe it will explain some of my issues. Many reviews mention the alternatives to the Cpap, and I am proud to say I will be trying one of the alternatives, once they get it back in about two weeks and two days. Let's start at the beginning... I contacted them because I had been struggling trying to sleep, like some nights my smart watch could not even track any sleep! I knew I was waking up a lot, to use the restroom, get a drink, walk because my legs were ancy, etc. I let them know my concerns and I went home with a ring to wear for two nights to track my sleep. Today I returned the ring and was given my results. They went with night one, because night two did not track enough to get results. They showed me my results with a nice graph and everything that I can actually look at again in my patient portal. I was told I could try a Cpap or get one of the alternate options, which is a type of mouth guard. I don't have the outlets to support a Cpap at night, and I don't think I would like being hooked up to something so I went with the mouthguard option. They took me to another room where dental assistants, or dentists, mapped out my mouth. I will go back next month to get my new device, but who knows if I will do another review. Oh, now that I will be getting my guard, I will just have to go back to see how things go, so like a 5-6 week follow up, which will turn into annual follow ups. This may be a bit premature but check them out if you struggle with sleep too.

This experience was so amazing and the technician who was there last night her name is Brenda, was excellent. She is truly caring and accomodating! I was so nervous and had so much anxiety that I didn't know how this study was going to go. That should have been told to me when I scheduled weeks prior so I could pick a Friday where I could easily return it the next Monday, instead, I had to use PTO from my job to be able to return the device on Monday. I really just picked blindly, but ended up lucking out. On my appointment day, I had a very short wait, before Dr. Feinstein strode into the waiting room to meet me. I hate to use the term "spunky," but that she was. She was a bit short, and had kind of crazy salt and pepper hair, tiny, old-fashioned tortoiseshell glass, and insisted that I call her "Izzy." Now, I've never been to an ENT before. In the exam room was a big, scary looking machine, armed with all sorts of wands, probes, lights, and brushes. I was not feeling secure about this whole thing. However, Izzy put me at ease, asked me lots of questions about why I was there, and my history. Even having those wands and lights jammed down my throat and up my nose wasn't all that bad. It wasn't exactly a day at the spa. But it wasn't horrible. I'm only withholding a star because I'm not 100% satisfied with my answer. But apparently less care is actually better for you, the studies say. That fact doesn't quell my anxiety levels, however.
