In a day and age of severe lack of customer service this was a breath of fresh air. Sharon was the caring receptionist and appointment giver. Her wonderful inviting personality started our experience on the absolute right foot. Then there was beautiful Esther who took my husband's vitals and prepared us for the doctor. She was a total joy and such a sweet conversationalist. She made us so comfortable. Then there was Ruby, the doctor's assistant, who with her smile and winning way only heightened this positive experience. Then Dr Prutzman... I cannot express how wonderful he is. He walks into a room with confidence and yet a warmth that is extremely rare. Words elude us in our confidence in him. In fact, I made an appointment to see him myself for a second opinion and will likely transfer to him. This office does things right. And the care is top notch.

It took over an hour to be seen and I had to leave without being seen , when I tried to reschedule. They wouldn't get me back in for three weeks, after bilateral pneumonia!!, how was that follow up? For three weeks they can't get me to listen to my lungs for a five minute follow up. I think the doctors are great if you can get past the rude front office.

I want to recognize someone that was extraordinary and went out of his way to help me. I will NEVER forget Mike Kenney-in security! I had just found out my father was having emergency surgery. I raced to the hospital. My dad was waiting in a room at the er. He was going to Pre Op. Mr. Kenney hustled me back to the room-and I was sad to see the bed was gone. He had been taken to pre op. Mr. Kenney could tell I was upset bc I didn't get to see my elderly dad before he went to emergency surgery. He quickly advised me the fastest way to see him. I know this doesn't seem like a lot-but I am forever grateful bc I got to spend time with him right before surgery. I was also there to support my mom who was very worried. If it weren't for Mike-I wouldn't have been there for my mom or got to hug my dad. I am forever grateful. He didn't have to go out of his way to help me. There's no reason to come into work with an attitude when your patients and their family members are helping with their recovery. They always say family is a part of a patients care and the only thing I inquired about was someone to come and clean a restroom because housekeeping wasn't there yesterday and he didn't want to sit on it. If you know you know how some meds will do you. But that nurse stood out the most for her rudeness. I get it, we're all stressed but don't be rude for an already stressful situation. But the other staff I found to be nice and accommodating and made sure I was comfortable knowing I was staying with my family member. Thank you to the staff that showed up to their jobs as professionals. What I've learned, you can't be a voice for the patient and leave the morning crew alone. Terrible!!! UPDATE: My family member wanted me to make sure to give a special thank you to Ms. Teresa in housekeeping, even she stated if the bathroom ever looks like that again to call her. After a hospital stay, I began my physical therapy and treatment with Dr. Weathersby. He was incredibly gentle and kind. Since then I have married, had a baby, and Dr. Weathersby has treated me through it all. In fact he now adjusts my husband and our daughter. My husband had chronic headaches. After receiving an evaluation and x-rays Dr. Weathersby concluded that my husband had suffered some damage during childhood to his spine. With regular treatment my husband's condition was healed. Shortly after my daughter was born Dr. Weathersby adjusted my daughter. She is now almost two and half and still goes in from time to time with me on appointments. It is great! My mother-in-law was visiting us and we took her in to have her wrists looked at. She sews and had chronic pain. Dr. Weathersby was able to adjust her hands and give her some relief. I cannot recommend Dr. Ed highly enough. Not only is he a great doctor, he is also a great person who cares about his clients. Dr. Weathersby is adding a Naturopath to his practice in Feb '10.
