On Sunday, June 14th, at approximately 9:30 PM, I went into the store with my wife to return unopened baby formula. This was our second attempt to resolve this; I previously sent my wife to handle the return three days ago, and she was turned away. During both visits, the store staff and manager Michelle stated that Kroger does not accept returns on baby formula and that all sales are final. However, prior to coming in, I explicitly reviewed Kroger's official return policy, which clearly states that baby formula returns are permitted. Even the online support team told us to go to the store for returning items. When I presented this to Michelle, she flatly refused to look at the documentation or listen to my explanation. Instead, she dismissively stated that Kroger does not do baby formula returns and began listing policies for other retailers like Walmart. I do not care about Walmart's policies; I am a Kroger customer dealing with Kroger, and I expect your staff to follow your own corporate guidelines. Michelle's attitude was entirely unacceptable. She was dismissive of my concerns, refused to engage in a respectful conversation, and acted as though she did not want to be bothered, despite the fact that I approached her politely and with the written policy in hand. Someone in a leadership position should not be treating customers this way; she severely needs retraining or a demotion.

Don't believe them...they don't do it. I go to the Locust Grove, GA store #1052 to pick up my 1 $2.07 RX. I walk past the line up to the Prepaid Pickup window. I am told by the person at the regular pickup window to go to the back of the line. I tell her no need to because I prepaid. She says there is no one to help me even though there are at least 5 other people working. I say I will just wait here. I am told that the 2 that can help me are both on the phone and they are too busy to help. So I stand there waiting on my prepaid RX while the snarky cashier helps every other customer except me. After they clear out all the other customers she tells me she can get me now. One of the other two that can help is off the phone but didn't even bother. Don't offer a service that you don't provide and then have nasty, mean girl staff make sure they don't help you. Complete customer service fail and unfriendly service on top of not delivering what service that you promised and promote. Also don't think you will get help from the Publix corporate office either. After 6 calls of being hung up on and transferred all over the place because there is no "CARE" in their Customer Care, I finally was able to leave a message for a "Mike Chavez" over the Pharmacy services for store #1052. Did he give me a call back? No he did not. And based on Publix's total lack of caring about the customer, I am sure I won't hear from him tomorrow either.
