The store is quite small, but they weren't kidding...the produce is fresh!! Because it's so small, it can get a little crowded in the aisle, but it all worked out. I went primarily for the corn, and there were only seven ears left. I took six of them and felt kind of bad, but when I was checking out, I heard that more was on the way on the delivery truck. I guess there had been some sort of delay that morning in Atlanta. We also bought some peaches and cherries. Everything tastes so great! The peaches are amazing! You will find an abundance of in season produce, a lot of it is grown organically but it's not labeled organic, it's an entire situation behind that so google or watch a Netflix documentary. All of the produce items are sold by the pound so buy what you need and shop responsibly. You may have to inquire about bulk purchases. The produce is always fresh, I also get homemade butter from here and backwood homemade favorites like chow chow, toe jam, they have teas, etc. It really is a hidden gem. You can use EBT & debit/credit cards, I'm not so sure about cash so please inquire before going. Support your local farmers and give these folks a try.

The word "organic" is no longer solely associated with a plant grown out of the earth. When you go there, ask what they harvest on site vs what's imported. You may be awakened. Bring cash unless you mind paying a transaction fee for your card purchase. Most importantly, support this business with an open mind. The community needs this.

My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

Parking was calm and plentiful and we weren't bumping into other strawberry pickers left and right. It costs about $20 for a large bucket (which you get to keep) and you pay $1 per person to access the fields. We feared we may have missed peak season but there were still plenty of ripe strawberries to choose from. It is also well organized with the staff directing where folks should go. After we picked our buckets worth, we grabbed a huge fresh lemonade from a parked truck, did some shopping in the cute store, and got a strawberry ice cream. I have to admit this was a bit of a disappointment especially based on all of the rave reviews. To us it tasted like it was pre-packaged and came from the freezer. The strawberries were frozen/rock solid and while they were plentiful it would have been great if they were softer or appeared as though it was fresh churned. Otherwise we really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back for picking other fruits throughout the year.

Once I finished my checkup and headed back downstairs, I was so excited to see two tables full of some beautifulllll produce. I had things to do and people to see... but that produce was calling my name. So I answered! I was a bit confused at first as to the process, but one of the team members took the time to explain the process quickly and it all made sense. They offer a long sheet of paper that allows you to choose produce in single-serving sizes, prepared packages and more. The offerings seem to vary based on the day, but the offering for the day included over two dozen options! I was tempted to go overboard but ended up going with: a single-serving size of bell peppers (which = 2 huge peppers), a single-serving size of mini cucumbers (5 in a bag) and a 5-variety fruit bag where I chose: peaches, cherries, kiwis, pink lady apples and barlett pears. In total I spent $32 with tax and WOW - did I get my moneys worth. The produce was plentiful, delicious and high-quality. I was so excited to get home to eat them and find different ways to use them. This is truly a wonderful pop-up to support and now that I know where and when to find them, you can bet that I'll be relying on them for my produce needs!
