I also live just a stones throw away from Sooner which was a big part of their appeal as well as the fact that they're independently owned- not a chain. I got in touch with this place for a quote on Monday for a steering belt & pump kit and 4 days later I still haven't gotten a call back- nada. I guess they don't need the money. Luckily I also made a call to Big D's Automotive (just a few more miles down Canton Hwy towards the center of town) and was treated great. It's also family owned/ran, Big D's wife works the office part of things and is great when it comes to communication. Their quote also beat out Tires Plus and several other competitors including a family friend who was giving me a "family discount". If you want the best treatment and service call Big D's instead- 678-965-5556. I dropped my car off this morning at 7am (Big D also has better hours than most places- Sooner isn't even open on Saturdays!) and it's now up on the rack meanwhile it's Thursday now and Sooner still hasn't called me back. read more

Horrible muffler repair. Out of the 16 welds 4 are leaking exhaust and will have to be repaired. Did Not install one of the hanging brackets. Had to have car returned 4 times to fix new muffler system. First time muffler was hitting steering tie rods, They beat the muffler with a hammer then had to spot weld to repair. Second time muffler was 1/2 inch from transmission pan, they had to reroute the muffler. Third time they tried to configure a homemade H pipe with a 1 inch hole in the cross member, Had to puchare one from MagnaFlow to prove this was not the proper installation. Fourth time the muffler was hitting the brake bracket and the cable was laying against the muffler, they cut the bracket and beat the muffler over and bent a wire to hold the cable away from the muffler. So be very cautious if you want muffler repair done. After spending $866 and $65 for an H pipe my expectations were quite a bit higher. Billy's other mechanics are awesome, they have done great work on several of my cars over the last 10 yrs. read more

Last week, for the first time, I went to Sooner Complete Auto Service for Emission Testing, on my F150. While there, I spoke with Billy Palmer about getting my '99 Corvette serviced. Today, 24 Sept. 2019, I brought the Vette in and asked to have the A/C checked as it was blowing warm air, synthetic oil change and various fluid checks. Picked up the car 5 hours later. The A/C needed freon and all other services completed. I received honest Professional Customer Service and pricing was reasonable. A\C nice and Cool again!!! Very nice, honest, fixed right the first time. Had horrible brake noise, dropped off my car, they called me with an estimate, I called another car repair shop and their estimate was quite a bit more. This place is close to my house so I went in today they said it would be $40 to see what was wrong with me A/C. They said they put in 2lbs of Freon but it leaked out of my compressor. hey said I needed a new compressor and it would cost over $2600. Then they made me pay $86!!! Why $86 I don't care if you put Freon in it. You told me $40 to find out what was wrong and that is all they did. My A/C is still not working so why $86. I didn't say fill it up with Freon I said find out what is wrong. So I say they are just trying to get your money and not really help you. I called auto zone the compressor is under $400. So all I have to say is thank you for ripping me off. read more

My wife and I have been going to this establishment for four years or so. We will not go back. Brought the car in for minor maintenance and lube. Three hours later the battery was dead and the glove box busted. I called and asked what they would do make it right and they said if I get a new glove box they would replace. had work done here replaced radiator, thermostat, and bottom hose cost 736 dollars, took apart ac condensor and wasn't supposed to touch it, 113 dollars for freon and vac on something they should have ran dye thru and checked for leaks before just shoving freon in it, Dealership said ac should not have been touched, no air but they will try to fix it if we pay them again, these people are gradeschool, take your vehicle somewhere else! If you can get your car here, I would recommend it. These guys know they're doing. No BS or shenanigans either...you can just feel the vibe of integrity and professionalism. They are not outrageously priced but fair and have always treated me right. I know enough about cars to break mine worse every time I try to fix it so I know enough at least to know when someone knows what they're talking about. I also know at least enough to know when someone is trying to give me "the run around". These are NOT those guys. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you need maintenance.
