I woke up yesterday with a miserably broken back, and decided that I needed to see someone ASAP. After calling around for a bit, I found this place on Yelp. At first I was hesitant, seeing all of these one-star reviews...but then I realized that all the one-stars were from Grouponers. Groupon clients are notorious for leaving crappy reviews on Yelp with very little provocation, and the rest of the reviews looked good, so I decided to book. I'm so, so happy that I did. I needed deep work, and that is exactly what I got. There were times that it was intense, but Sharon really knew what she was doing, and I could feel the knots melting away under her fingers. After it was over, I could not keep my eyes open...I was a puddle of mush. Completely worth every penny. I can't wait to go back and get some cupping on my back, as well! read more

Terrible customer service! I bought a groupon for a massage, about three weeks before the expiration date, I started to call for an appointment. However, the spa was closed for some reasons, and couldn't get in contact with them. Then, I tried to schedule an appointment online, and couldn't find a spot before the expiration date, I made an appointment for a later date and explained everything in the comment window. No feedback for either a yes or no. I was worried they wouldn't take the expired groupon and end up returned the groupon. About two days before the original appointment, I suddenly got an email reminder. I immediately emailed back and explained the story again. They emailed back call me a LIAR! If that's how they treat their potential customers, I would run away ASAP, even the massage only cost $10! read more

Purchased a groupon. When I called in October, Sharon told me that there were no appointments available until December and then she offered one date and time in Dec. Very unreasonable! I reluctantly accepted the appointment. She had me give her the groupon code over the phone. Big Mistake! Two weeks prior to my appointment I left a message that I needed to reschedule. Sharon did not return my call. I called again and left a message the week of my appointment. Again did not hear from her. When she finally returned my call she told me that she had tried to call me and that I missed my appointment and therefore she redeemed my groupon. Extremely dishonest person! I think this is business as usual for this woman. She does not honor her groupons.. I would not do business with this woman. CALLING ALL DEEP TISSUE LOVERS!! I ended up here out of sheer frustration that none--I repeat NONE--of the luxury spa outfits in the area actually do deep tissue massage. They all claim to and will happily book you for one, but then you just get a slightly firmer massage than the typical Swedish massage, with the standard up charge for absolutely no added value. (Two weeks earlier I booked a deep tissue at Bella Sante and left even more stressed and annoyed that I had wasted all of that money.) If you're willing to forego the trappings of a typical spa with robes and cucumber water, then you will LOVE this place! Sharron gave me the best deep tissue massage I have ever had and it was worth every penny. I felt so unbelievably relaxed when I left, a feeling I NEVER get when I go to Bella Sante or other more "luxurious" places. Have been coming here for some time. Sharon has amazingly strong hands that find and work out all of my muscle knots. By far the best deep tissue massage around!!! Also check out the reflexology massage or ask for a mix. The prices are very reasonable and the service is always top notch. The only difference you will see from a high end spa are the prices and lack of the stuck up attitude. I have always called ahead (usually same day) and have been able to get an appointment. Easy off street parking, close to Route 9 and pike. Professional building with a chiropractor, acupuncture, and other professional services. The ONLY place to go to in the area. read more

Like other Grouponers, I was duped into this company's con game. When I called, the only Saturday or after 5 pm appointments (when most people who work can go) were only available after the promotional period had expired. Every other massage place I've used a Groupon coupon with allows you to use the promotional value even if you've schedule beyond the expiration date. Not these Soothing Comfort scam artists. Not only would they not show any flexibility whatosever, they were extremely rude. If their massages are as rude and tension-creating as their booking policies, then I'm glad I don't risk my back to these shysters. If I could leave minus 2 stars, I would. Please don't book appointments at this place especially if its through Groupon. I got a groupon a few months ago for 40$ and have been trying to book it for a while. Finally after a long time trying to book an appointment I got an appointment for today, but, unfortunately, for health issues, I could not attend. At 9am I called, and, as usual, I only get to talk to a machine.. I left a huge message.. with my name, phone number, and expressed my frustration with the service. At the time of my appointment, they called me saying: "I'm hoping you're on your way here because you're late." I explained that I tried to call them for a long time and never heard back. She told me that pretty much I was a liar and I never called. First of all, dont call me a liar- I'm a client. Second, I called multiple times in the morning and left a message. In the past I have called and sent emails to reschedule and never heard back. They say they never got it. I wanted my money back and she said: "Too bad, go talk to Groupon.." and hung up on me!........ Ps: Please read the review by TC below. It seems they're used to doing these things with clients. Beware Groupon customers: I found out after I purchased that Groupon customers were limited to weekday business hours (I'm a business person, not a soccer mom)....ok. Time to schedule was considerable. Weird place - I accidentally walked in on a massage trying to figure out where to go. i should mention I bought a set of 3...there was a mix up with Groupon as they'd only sent me 1 voucher. Went back and forth with Sharron for about oh....15 emails or so. She kept sending me the same reply - give me your voucher number. Absolutely NO understanding of the situation - and no effort to accommodate. I could understand if this were a major coporation with hundreds of employees and thousands of customers...but it's a one-woman show. I went back to Groupon for resolution, which they said they'd handled....except all my subsequent emails to Sharron to schedule my next massage were simply ignored. I'm getting a refund.
