I come here often and have never been disappointed. I have tried dozens of different places and nothing has compared to these ladies.

I have been going to Soothing Oasis Massage for the last few years. I wanted to share my experiences. They have been nothing but excellent. The massage therapists were skilled and attentive, providing the level of pressure I prefer in a massage. I have seen both Grace and Judy, and both are great at understanding my specific needs and tailoring the massage to my preferences. It was my first time going to this place & the reason I chose this location was because they had outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, I had the most outrageous experience. Everything was perfect until it came time to pay. The lady who did my message did an outstanding job. I got a 90 minute massage for $115.00. When I got to the front to pay the lady who did my massage was standing next to me & some other employee. Not sure if she was the manager but she was the one closing out the service. When it came time to pay she asked me if I would be leaving the tip on the card or cash. I told her how much gratuity I was leaving & she stated "90 minute massage which was great you leave more money $30" and pointed to the suggested tip amount on the wall. I WAS SOOOOO LIVID! I clearly stated "You can't tell me what to leave, you don't know people's situation ... and you should be grateful to even receive ANYTHING". She laughed and said "I gave you great massage $30 tip." I told her how unprofessional she is & the fact that she had the audacity to tell me what I NEED to leave as a tip is outrageous. She & the lady continued to speak to each other making sure I didn't know what was being said. I paid for my service & as I am walking out the door the lady who did my massage walked out the door behind me and was saying things in a language I do not understand. Overall, I was appalled by the whole situation & I will not be going back. Leaving a tip is NOT demanded & not included in the service. Just be thankful for even receiving something & don't harass someone for MORE money. read more

So wonderfully relaxed (and taller?) after my experience at Soothing Oasis Massage in Plantation. I was able to book a last minute appointment the day before, at the time I needed- That never happens! This place is very clean and well maintained. I was greeted right as I walked in the door and felt like I was already a regular. Lovely greeting area with comfy chairs I had an hour and a half massage from Maggie like no other I've had. I had a very specific painful calf that they fixed like it was nothing. Their technique is amazing, it's almost like deep tissue doesn't have to make you cry... so awesome! I disagree with some previous, older reviews that state it's not clean or not professional- they are fantastic. I had no problems or issues and can't wait to go back. Showed up for reflexology message which was great. Then the full body massage started. They do thing where they stand on you and push with their feet, very hard! Left bruises on my back from their massage. . . At the end the do some stretching. I've heard it called lazy man yoga. The guy put me in a full Nelson and was stretching me in a way that hurt my back. I told him stop he didn't stop I then yelled stop and he did. . . Clearly never going back. . read more

Visited Soothing Oasis Massage today and again had a very excellent 5-star massage. Maggie was my masseuse. She was amazing, first greeted me, asked what level of pressure, what areas did I want her to focus on during our 90-minute appointment. I have been to many massage places such as Massage Envy, Luxe Massage as well as a few other Asian Massage places and Soothing Oasis focuses on quality and not quantity. Maggie was really good at finding my knots and stress areas and investing time to help ease the tension and make me more relaxed. Her techniques were quite advanced compared to other places. Nothing compares! & today once again I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage from Judy, who I simply adore and is hands down the best at what she does. Her strength is amazing and she always seems to know exactly where and how to get to the problem areas. This place is super clean, relaxing, & all the staff is always so professional and friendly. Helped my back pain! I had terrible (all over) back pain that was affecting my sleep for days until a friend suggested I visit this place. I was not looking to spend a lot of money on a massage and I found that they were more than reasonable. I showed up without an appointment and they kindly took me right in. Because of the way I was feeling, the woman offered to spend more time on my back instead of my feet. The massage helped so much, I have been feeling so much better ever since. THIS IS the absolute best massage parlor in South Florida. I have been to many and had massages for years and Soothing Oasis is undoubtedly superior. Whatever your needs, light, deep, deeper than deep, you will be satisfied. My only moan is that its hard to get the same person every time unless you go the same time every time. But I have never had a less than superior massage no matter who is giving it. I have seen the 1* reviews and honestly I cannot imagine they were in the same place. My grown son and I have been going here for 3 years, he almost every week, me maybe once a month when I am in town and I have never had anything to complain about so I don't get the 1* and actually feel suspicious about the genuineness of those reviews. If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. This was absolutely the worst massage I have ever had, and ridiculously expensive too. I am new to the area and I read all of the yelp reviews before deciding to come here. It does not live up to its reputation. I requested a deep tissue massage when the throat came in. I received something less than a Swedish after repeatedly asking for her to apply more pressure. When I was paying, I was hit up for a larger tip then I was already giving. Giving 4 stars for a well priced, firm massage. Saw the Yelp reviews and had to try this place since it's very close to my house. Lisa was my therapist and she was very good. I paid $72.00+ tip for a one hour massage. I requested medium pressure and Lisa's medium pressure what quite strong but it felt great on my tight shoulders. She asked me several times if the pressure was okay. The place appears clean and Lisa took me right away. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because communication was a bit of an issue. In my case it wasn't a problem but if you have any injuries or serious issues that could be exasperated by twisting, stretching, pressure I might avoid this place. This is a strong massage but really different and enjoyable. I will return, hopefully soon. read more

I have been here 3 or 4 times so far and would go back more if I could afford it. Prices are a bit high ($70ph) but the quality is amazing. My first few visits were due to a frozen shoulder and Sherry completely sorted me out. Other times I have gone when I am just feeling a bit tense. The massage is very deep and focussed on problem areas. This is not a soft, aromatherapy, mamby-pamby Massage Envy type of place - these girls are serious healers! I've been here a couple times wasn't a bad experience my last experience was so bad I will never go back I was offered by Judy who's the manager a free massage but I normally going on the weekend but all she only wants to schedule me during the weekday it's weird I'm very upset because they're very pushy they don't speak English and they're very rude they like to speak another language and when you try to tell them they're hurting you they're laughing very bad experience wouldn't recommend this place definitely think there's something going on and if you want a better bang for your buck pay a better place they also make you pay a tip that they don't deserve they'll be like oh what no tip no and you say like $20. You can get a great massage here. I've had some excellent Chinese massage here by several different therapists, but do yourself a favor and explain slowly and clearly up front what you need. This establishment is totally legitimate (AFAICT no "sensual" massage) and the three therapists I've had have all known exactly what they're doing. I have two issues with SOM: 1) even if you ask for a specific therapist, you don't always get that one, and 2) they have a lot of staff turnover, so if you find someone who is just that bit better than the others, there's no guarantee that they'll be around in a few months. read more

My husband and I got a couples massage at this place- the massage was soothing and relaxing. The room had a faint odor smell and only had towels on the bed- no sheets. A little towel was covering our backs which I didn't like that at all. Overall, we were satisfied and on our way out as we were paying, my husband handed both of the masseuses $10 each, the lady looked so upset and started talking in her native language with the other masseuse and they both just looked at us and pointed to a sign saying the tip should be 15%. My husband and I looked very puzzled and just gave more money and walked out. First of all, a tip is a courtesy and one shouldn't demand more- it's based on discretion. We both were honestly disgusted with their behavior and will never return here again. The massage was around $75 each, I rather spend that money on another place then spend it here. read more

I have been patronizing this establishment since they have open over 4 years ago. The place is tucked away from the well know busy Pine Island Road, although you need to look twice to notice it. I normally don't write reviews although after my last experience there, I felt compelled on doing such, in order to express my absolute love for this folks and for the treatment that they always provide me with. Judy, the manager/owner which will know every single needed info on you, does an amazing job of remembering you and your therapeutic needs, as this is for sure a therapeutic sort of massage. The massage itself was really indescribable, as you must know an authentic Chinese massage in order to know a great massage. The experience was, as I never experienced before, amazing and lengthy. As I went with 2 other friends to receive massages in the same time, Judy actually gave me the massage herself. Her technique and quality of work is beyond amazing! The attention and the knowledge that she has, comes across in every aspect. After my one hour massage, which was a full hour, -compared with other places that I use when I go out of town, where you end up with 50 minutes,- was unbelievable. She massaged all the nods in my shoulders, my scalp, my legs and the feet, leaving me with a floating like feeling! I decided to check out soothing oasis massage because of a Groupon deal, I had a 45 min massage but when I got there they said it was a 15 min body massage and 30 min foot massage which I wasn't aware of from reading the Groupon. The place smells a little strange, kind of like Chinese food or fried rice, I was expecting a place that smelled more like lavender or some other kind of combination of aromatherapy oils hahah. I mean the foot massage was ok but 30 mins was a little excessive, also the body massage wasn't a real body massage it basically the same as those Asian people in the mall with the chairs that you have to press your face into. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Cindy. She is special. The best I have found at least. If you want a soothing, relaxing massage after a long day at work or something more therpeutic to help after an injury, this is the place and Cindy is the one. She is amazing. Trained in China in the technique of accupressure. Sometimes a little painful, but later when you get home or the next day even, you realize how much better you feel. I took the first body massage of my life here. Evonne the masseuse, treated me. She made me aware of the fact that I have knots on my back and shoulders and explained to me how lifting weights and doing a desk job can cause these problems. She offered to treat me long term, but I told her I was only visiting Florida. What really amazed me was she offered to do a full body massage the very next day to help ease the pain in my back. Evonne let the owner know about the condition of my back and the owner was willing to help find me a good spa in my hometown. Overall I felt genuine care and concern for the well-being of the patient, which I have honestly seen at very health care facilities. I would definitely visit this place the next time I am in Florida. A special callout to Evonne for being an awesome masseuse. Also from the current reviews, I have noticed that a lot of people were taken aback by the pain during the massage, trust me, there is nothing to be concerned about. These guys know what they are doing. The pain is only because you have entangled muscles, and it feels painful when someone disentangles them.
