Money hungry people force you to tip and lie about fees to get more money out of you

This place is far from "amazing." The receptionist or owner left as soon as we got in. We were left with our two masseuses that barely spoke any English. We wanted to take a shower just to rinse off before our massage since we had came from the beach. They didn't understand anything we were telling them. There were so many things that went wrong that I would never go back to this place. One masseuse kept going in and out letting other clients in. No apologies and the time wasn't even extended. They both made little conversations throughout our hour massage. You don't hear any relaxing music from inside the room but mainly outside and a lot of random people passing by. The massage itself was ALL OVER THE PLACE. It felt like she was just doing just whatever, and seemed extremely lazy towards the end. Last but not least, the "suggested" tipping. The person that collected our tip gave my bf a funny face when we gave her nearly 20% (the standard tip). I don't like places that tell me how I should tip if I feel like you deserve otherwise. Overall, this place is not recommended and I would spend my money elsewhere. read more

Disclaimer: So I did read the Yelp reviews before I left and knew how this place ran. The manager of the place was responding to comments saying the problems listed are no longer, and that it's new management. Which is a lie. That's fine but just forewarning that nothing has changed here. I went 08/28/2023 for my bfs birthday. We got the couples package, $150. I paid upfront as soon as I walked in and wrote on the receipt $20 tip before I even got serviced. The massage includes 60 min aromatherapy massage, hot stones, and steam bath. Massage experience: was ok. Wasn't the worst experience I had but not the best massage ever. I did wake up sore the next day but it could be just cos it's called deep tissue massage, so I won't fault it. Customer service: there was lots of talking between my massage therapist and my bfs therapist so it was hard to relax at times. The door kept opening and closing I think there was another worker who was talking or something not sure. The ladies were nice however during the massage. After our 60 min massage, they ushered us to the front desk and told me if I can add another $20 to my tip, that $10/hr for each of them was not enough. So I changed my tip to 40. I felt uncomfortable for that fact, and don't think they each deserved 20 after all the talking that was done throughout the massage with one another, but I go by the philosophy of fool me one time, shame on you, but there will be no second time. Overall for the service they provide they are readily available, accommodating and nice. Can work on the relaxation part better during session. The company should also pay their therapists rather than having them rely on tips so they don't have to haggle customers for it. It is quite embarrassing but I understand it. read more

This place is very clean and they know how to find the knots and can pin point where you need it most. The table shower, the steam bath and to finish a rain fall shower, the name says it all, AMAZING! You come out super relaxed and ready to keep on going. Highly recommend. read more

NEVER AGAIN1 The short story is that when I arrived for my appointment, the woman at the front desk harassed me about the number of Groupon purchases I have made, telling me they are only for new customers for their first visit. I explained the story below, and said that I made the purchases because Groupon allowed it and I didn't realize I was doing something wrong and I wouldn't purchase any more on Groupon. She kept repeating the same thing and I asked her what she wanted me to do about it--I made the purchases and here I was. I asked if she wanted to return my money and I would just leave. She let me know that she would honor the Groupon but was just letting me know the policy. I told her that I understood and that I still had one more appointment from Groupon for the following month, asking if they would honor it and she said they would. Then she started the entire conversation all over again and I told her okay, I get it, we don't need to keep having the same conversation. This went on for at least 5 minutes. I was relieved to get away from her and start my session and took a nice long steam bath to calm the stress I was experiencing as a result of the harassment at the front desk. During my body scrub, much to my dismay, my massage therapist began to harass me about using Groupon. By the time my "spa day" was done, I couldn't wait to get out of there, as I was more tense than when I arrived. Needless to say, after having tipped about 25% of the full price cost every previous visit, I did not tip one red cent for being harassed throughout my entire visit. Apparently Groupon sold me more Ultimate Packages than the business intended for them to sell to one individual. However, unlike other businesses, their Groupon ad never stated that it was for first time visitors only. If this business owner had a problem, she should have taken it up with Groupon rather than taking it out on me! read more

Called about their promotion on Groupon and they were so accommodating and let me pay the Groupon price at the location rather than online, don't let this place discourage you. A 12 hour car ride had my neck and back hurting for two days and the sweet lady that serviced me worked her magic. I loved how it was a mix between deep, Swedish and Thai because I truly love them all and hate choosing between the three! The ultimate experience is well worth it it includes steam room, table bath/exfoliating, and pretty much what felt like a 90 minute massage plus a facial, and would recommend any travelers to give this place a try. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of customer service and professionalism! I booked a 60 min couples massage on 11/11. I found this place on Groupon. When booking the appointment over the phone I was told I could not buy the deal in Groupon since it's the weekend, but if I took a screenshot of the price that Groupon offered they would honor it. We get to our appointment 11/13 at 3PM, and the lady is saying it's going to be $160, I explained what they told me over the phone when booking and she refused to honor the price and then tried bargaining to $150. I showed her the price of the screenshot which was $121.60. I left. Good thing we didn't get a massage here, while this was going on there was another client in one of the rooms trying to get their attention and nobody was there to attend to them. read more

I should have known better when I first walked in and the prices were ridiculously high for a no-frills massage place but I couldn't turn my neck, this was close to my house, so I said, fine - I will do the $70 1hr massage. The massage was fine - although, prepare to be in pain as she literally said to me - it's OK if it hurts now. They use a small, worn towel to cover you but again, I know this is not Bliss or Exhale Spa so I will overlook it. The reason I am only giving this place 2 stars is a combination of the price and at the end when I tipped her 20%, the woman said "The suggested tip is $20 - here is the sign". I don't believe she understood what the word SUGGESTED means AND 20% is standard tipping so I was not under-tipping. NOT returning, go elsewhere - there are so many other better places to go. read more

It all started with me waking up with the worst headache ever. I been having a lot of those and on top of that my shoulders and upper back area was so tight. My husband decided that we should just go get a professional massage. Of course it's a Sunday and the first place I could think of was Massage luxe by my house but most places are appointment only so got no luck there. The next place I thought of was Amazing asian massage thankfully cause there name is so easy to remember. I called them up was able to get a same day appt. Once we got there they had all the prices and had a deluxe special that included facial, steam bath, body scrub, and full massage. We decided on that and they put us together in a couples room which was nice. To start the steam bath oh my gosh! Amazing! It really helped clear all my sinuses and loosens you for your massage. The body scrub was nice but the most that stands out was my massage. I am so glad I came here, my masseuse worked all the right places got all my knots out and there techniques are really good. To top it off the facial was really worth it. They really take there time and actually massage your face, after your face will feel brand new! Well I was happy they were open for the massage, but when I got there the massage was not very good. There was maybe 20 minutes of massage time and 40 minutes of just rubbing oil on my back without any massage, when It was sone I tipped 10.00 as I didn't think it was worth more than that. The lady said 10.00 nooo one hour massage is 20.00 tip and pointed to the sign. Not only is this horrible business practice especially to not tell the customer up front. Well I was there today and got a 90 min massage. And it was really good and relaxing I must say. She really got into my shoulder knots and I feel like all my tension is totally gone! It was nice to feel great afterwards. The only thing is I wish she would of done my feet a little longer and pressure pointed my legs more. I've been here before like last year sometime and a girl there was amazing she was perfect I wish I remembered her name. But overall I did enjoy my massage. And felt super relaxed especially when she started using the hot stones omg and the stretches they get you to do feel so dang good. I loved it here the first time I went not so much this time to be honest but I'm not shading I'm just saying that I think everyone has their own technique on massaging here so I will still give it another chance sometime! read more

I found this deal on Groupon. When I tried to call them on the phone to book an appointment, they were unreachable so I decided to book an appointment on their website. Mind you on the website nor the Groupon app does it state that you are limited to receive a massage at a specific time in the day for them to honor the deal. I got there an hour after their alleged time limit. The receptionist and masseuse both refused to accept the Groupon and they didn't give a clear explanation on the process of a refund, or an alternative solution. I couldn't even receive a decent explanation because They didn't speak much English (and so I thought) so I had no choice but to pay an additional $160 for me and my partner. My partner and I work so much we really have been looking forward to this massage for weeks. So we get the massage and the massage was good but when we got dressed to leave they forced us to pay an additional $40 for tip. Mind you I tipped already when I paid. The masseuse claimed that we had no choice because she was separate from the massage fee. My partner decided to pay it but I felt that it was very upsetting because not only were they not accommodating but they're company doesn't allow you to use a Groupon service they supposedly allow and they try to milk you as much as possible. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Truthfully bad customer service. I hope someone else gets a better experience. read more

Purchased a couples package over a month ago from Groupon and was quite pleased. Always drive past this strip plaza every day and see this massage place but never thought in a million years I'd ever go in simply because it's on a pretty busy road and across from the Hard Rock Hotel. Just always looked sketchy but don't be fooled with the down low location...we were very pleased with exactly what we came for...deep tissue massages! Although I'd probably pass on the table shower. Silly me, when I bought the packages I should've done my homework on WTH a table shower was (ha!). Just wasn't for me BUT if for you, they can definitely do just that. This spot truly reminded me of the Asian massage places by Edgewater/Fort Lee. To the point, straight to the massage. I'm all for the "experience" you get at other fancy massage spas but I can do without all the razzle dazzle esp when you've had a long week/month and just need a good 'ole traditional quiet massage. Really great massage! They really do a full body massage. I get massages regularly and some places don't spend an equal amount of time on every part. They also will twist you in many different positions to crack your back. It was my boyfriends first massage and he felt super relaxed. They 10000% don't wash any of the sheets . Or anything for that matter. The white sheets were pee yellow. I felt like I was covered in oil just by laying on the bed before she cane in the room. The massage was not only strong, but also very well planned out. I expected a 50 minute massage. I paid by credit card prior to my service. I was charged an additional two dollars although I was not told that there was a credit card fee at all. I did not tip prior to the massage. After the massage as I exited the door she blocked my exit and said "do you plan to tip in cash?" I tipped her 10% as it was an extremely average massage. Not only are Dina's hands (and feet) truly gifted, this massage ranks within the top 3 massages I've ever had. I brought my wife (who is extremely picky and typically dislikes massages. I was thinking there's no way she got as lucky as I did and when I saw her 90 minutes later, she was raving about how she had been healed and couldn't wait to come back. This place is in a strip plaza, but don't be fooled..these girls will blow away any massage you'll get at some ritzy pretty looking overpriced hotel spa. Very nice and clean place, professional masseuses working here. I got my massage from Lily, a cute petite Chinese girl. She gave a very strong massage which was what i needed after a long week of staring at a computer screen. My neck, lower back and glutes were sore as hell. So i asked her to walk on my back and she did an amazing job with her foot, hitting all my pain points to perfection. When those joints cracked it felt amazing. Overpriced an unprofessional. My partner and I when for a much-needed massage, made an appointment and unfortunately we had to call and let them know that we are going to be a bit late. Upon the arrival the lady says 70 and hour!!! We got a room undressed and laid on the table. 15 minutes into the massage the lady that was massaging my wife stepped out and a man took over her place massaging my naked wife leaving the door opened and not having privacy at all!!! Not only that but we end the massage early and the lady has the nerve to ask me for a tip, I gave her 20 miserable dollars so the massage costed $200... If I could put zero stars I would. I don't know why anyone would come to this place & give a good review. The outside is sketchy & the door remains locked so you have to wait for someone to see you on the camera & come let you in. The bathroom sink had bugs in it that crawled up from the drain. Next, the lady came in the room very late & the digital clock in the room was showing the completely wrong hour & minutes to probably confuse customers about when they actually started the massage. When I asked her about the time being wrong she said she couldn't understand what I was saying. I took note of the time on my phone so I knew how long I was in there. The main issue is I came in with neck pain & pain at the top of my shoulders but those areas were NEVER TOUCHED! I assumed she would get to it but the next thing I knew the massage was over. I paid $70 for a deep tissue massage and I did not get deep tissue. I even asked her for harder pressure & she still did the same pressure. Her technique was horrible and it was the worst massage I've ever had. I wish I knew her name. I've had cheaper massages in very nice places that were better than this. However, I decided I would give a $10 low tip instead of nothing since a lot of people are struggling due to Covid. She COMPLAINED about the $10 & asked for $20!!!! She told me I had more than 1 hour which we know is not true. They make you pay for the massage first but there's a sign in the massage room that says "once you are in the room and sit on the bed there's no refunds" this place is a scam.
