Note; unlike other colonic places, this is a TOTALLY CLOSED SYSTEM meaning it's safer, you never (have to) see or smell anything, and a technician is massaging your belly and working the system and talking you through the process/results the entire time. Restroom is right in the suite. Anything that touches, or even comes near, your body or the machine is ONE TIME USE and new each time. Completely sanitary. The water is triple distilled, meaning it's much cleaner than any water you've ever drunk. By the time you're done with the 30-45 minute session, you will feel like you are walking on a cloud. The infrared sauna is new and awesome. Has different heating programs for different needs (I.e., detox). Can even bring your own CD or DVD to play in there! I have gone here a few times now and have had the pleasure of experiencing a few different massage therapists. All of the therapists I have met have been professional and amazing at what they do. The rooms and sauna are clean and well set up. The therapists and receptionist are all following covid guidelines and were wearing masks as well. My most recent massage (August 2021) they were still all wearing masks but were fine with me not wearing one as I was fully vaccinated. They do have a mailing/email list you can sign up for and doing that they will send you deals. They make it pretty easy to book online for things, although if you are using a groupon you should call them to book to get everything set up correctly. They make it easy to add anything to your booking after the fact/onsite. If it is possible for them to do it, they will. Groupons do not account for state tax so you will have to pay for that when you leave but you can use your card and add a tip at the same time too, so convenient for those that don't carry cash. For those of you looking at all reviews please read the mentions below: 1) There is no dedicated parking/lot for this business. It is located on the main street of No. St. Paul. There is lots of parking all along the street but if its busy you may have to walk a few yards. 2) Information buy/selling. When I signed up for their email list they stated they do NOT sell their clients information. One reviewer didn't know how this business got her info and wouldn't tell her, other than they didn't BUY her info. Probably true that they DIDN'T buy the reviewers info, they probably got it from a client using their reward program. You refer your friends email addresses and qualify for rewards. If I was a business owner, I would have handled it the same, few people would be satisfied with being told they were referred by a friend. Many people would want to know WHO it was and personally I wouldn't be comfortable with giving out my other clients info, but I would let them know that we would remove all of their information from our systems. You know just like it was originally handled. 3) Pricing. They honor all terms for what you purchase. So if you purchased a package on groupon and use it with in the timeline you don't pay anything extra (see the tax thing above). If you don't use it within the timeline (hasn't happened to me yet) they honor the price you paid to apply to a service they provide. Paid $89 for a 1hr massage and 30 min sauna but expired 3 weeks ago? You get $89 towards a service/package now and if that package is now $120 well, you still owe $31 now. That is life, read the small print, make sure you get there before it expires. That said, they are great about doing add-on's. I have used different deal certificates and was able to add on additional time or hot stones or aromatherapy easily. However, you DO have to do that either when you make the booking or be ok to forgo it if you are going to wait until checking in. Also just because you are checking a price doesn't mean that it will always stay the same, things change, economy changes. When I have done upgrades/add-ons to my deals when I booked my session I have never had the price changed when I got there. Now, I have been in situations at other small businesses where I placed an order or booked a session and the price changed by the time I got there a few days later and guess what?! They honored the old price because I had BOOKED/ORDERED before the change happened. Computers/registers tend to default to what is the current price, but pointing out you BOOKED when the prices were different and them being able to see the date of booking makes it easy for them to fix. Deciding to call a few times over a few weeks to find out pricing and never booking and then getting pissed that a week or two later they changed pricing and they're unfair is being a petulant child. Ever been to a gas station? No? Well, let me blow your mind. They change can change their prices everyday and they can do this because the price is stated clearly to their customer. Just because the priced changed doesn't mean they are shady or unfair, it's just economics. But getting bratty about it does mean that you are indecisive at best and stupid at worse. No one was baited and switched, rather you waited to your detriment to book your appointment and now have to pay more. That is life. Next time you'll know if you like the price you should put a ring on it, sorry, book it. Overall, this place is the best. Great massages and great ambiance. Super clean.

While I cannot compare it to other styles and types of massages, I can tell you that I felt like he found my off button in the back of my neck. After that my mind was shut down. My body was being recharged by the fantastic touches. He was incredibly responsive to the way I behaved. When I spoke, he responded. When I was quiet, so was he. Afterwards, I was able to move my neck further to the sides than I have in years. I did not realize it was stiff, I thought it was actually physically unable to move. Incredible!! The massage is worth every penny of the fee and the tip, combined. About the Massage Experience: The brick exterior of the building is just before you go up to the bridge that crosses the Mississippi River as you leave Hastings. It is a narrow downtown building with just a few parking spots in front. When you enter, you get the heavier feeling calmer energy. The front area is a shop area for Minny Grown products. Walking inside the building is like walking into another dimension. It is bigger inside than out, full of pampering surprising all the way down its length! I felt pampered from the moment I entered the hallway. We were shown where the restroom was and brought to a comfortable yet large, sitting room deeper inside the building. We completed client slips including listing any problem areas. Our massage therapists came to collect us and lead us to our massage room. The couple's massage room is very dim. The majority of the light is yellow light emanating from behind glass, giving the impression of candle light. The Massage Therapists explained that we could take off as much clothing as we were comfortable with. The massage tables have sheets and blankets. I mentioned a body irregularity. Then I asked which of the two had more experience with something like that. We were left alone for minutes. Even looking at the ceiling offered a softened view. Sheer drapes camouflaged the ceiling. Calming music played. I was completely comfortable removing all of my clothing and getting under the flannel sheets and heavy fur-like blanket. It was quite warm at first but perfect as the massage progressed. I am incredibly glad that it was so easy to feel relaxed enough to remove all of my clothing before getting under the blankets. There was always careful attention paid to covering any sensitive areas. While I do not doubt the Massage Therapists abilities to work under more restrictive layers like underwear, I do doubt the body's ability to hold the positive energy so well through a barrier. About the Business: We had accidentally scheduled our appointment for 2pm and written it down for 3pm. There are no confirmation emails or calls, until you are already late asking if you are still coming. Unfortunately, that call went to voicemail. We only realized we were late as we getting ready to leave for the appointment. When we returned the call, the person we spoke to was not the cheerful people from before. Sadly, there would not be 2 massage therapists available at the same time again today. If we wanted to reschedule it would have to be paid for, in full, up front. The first appointment was reserved with a credit card but not charged. There was no partial charge nor fee. I reserved the new appointment and paid up front but I was not as confident with my choice of location because the person was so much less kind. Then again, every one has a bad day.
