Located on the East Side of Mentor near the Walmart you will find a big store well stocked with clothes and household goods. Every week they have one color that is 50% off and if you can make it on a Wednesday all colors except for one is 50% off. For the clothing and most other items they have gone to a pricing system where all items in a category are the same price, i.e. all shirts are $4.99. The majority of the store is clothing with a good sized men's department and a larger women's department. The racks are usually well organized you can find what you want without too much trouble. What I would like is for the price lists to be more prominently posted around the store. Over the years I have found some very nice suit jackets and button-down shirts at this store. Occasionally I have found some good pairs of shoes and other clothing items. The rest of the store includes a small selection of furniture, kitchenware, art and other items. Most of these items are a bit lower quality or are priced a bit too high for my preferences. I do shop these items, but it has been a while since I have found anything worth buying. Mentor Salvation Army Thrift is a good thrift store, mainly for clothing. The store is a bit rundown, but the staff is nice and do keep the store well organized. Good for wardrobe staples but you have to shop carefully to find any real gems.
